Uhh.. wish I could help but I don't know any site that keeps track of Light Novel sales in one thread like AoD does for anime and M-H does for manga... would be hard to track without release dates.. off memory I think the most recent one did 30k which isn't that spectacular... especially considering the popularity of the anime series. Anyway lets see....

K, was annoying but got it, not going to bother at looking at any prior to 4C though.

Should add that each volume of horizon is 1.5x or 2x in both content and price so 40k sales might equal 80k sales of normal titles.

The insane super hits sell 200-400k+ but there's countless titles selling just a few k so overall Horizon's sales are good. Probably in top 30 or so of LN's (and remember that there's lots of them).

lets hope it is good enough for the publisher to sponsor a 3rd season.

Well, Horizon is hard to watch, if you don't watch it in a weekly basic, following each Q&A section then rewatch the whole thing (at least for season 1) you will probably lost along ep 4 or 5. However it fanbase is strong and steady unlike IS, god, I wonder why had I bought all the IS lightnovel before realizing that the writing is one of the weakest thing I have ever read.

Finally finished episode 13 and thank goodness my pc didn't shutdown when watching it streaming.

Azama you lucky bastard as well as Tenzou. Mary sleeps naked!!!! and the beginning was action pack with Margoth and Naruse double team revived. I almost forgot the dress Naruse use in that form because its been ages since I last saw it. The highlight is when Horizon and Torii confronts the united arms of Tres Espana. Horizon activates the other weapon she got from Neshimbara and sing THAT SONG!!! I love that song. It always gives shivers down to my spine. And many new character showing up which totally sums up how awesome things are

I'm pretty much sold on this episode. This also solids the way for another S3 or S4 or so on but the question is when will be the next one. The earliest is next year that's for sure.

I wish they start doing 2 cours instead of 1 cour per season.

And I think a light novel having a sale of 50K + is already good in light novel sales.

So in matter of fact. Horizon is doing good on its own. Though the anime isn't giving it much boost in terms of sales compared to other light novel that has a sale boost thanks to anime. Still I like more Horizon than those anime that has tons of stupid fan service.

I mean it's not like there's lack of source material like say Hyouka or "complications" like with Infinite Stratos? I guess it's just a matter of Studio 8 having an open slot more than anything else... would make sense to go with another season of this over say Accel World since Horizon doubles it in sales....

The problem is that even though they made money, it is a LOT of work.

At some point it might be decided that it is just too stressful to maintain the quality.

Well, they seem to really love working in the show, so for now I don't think that's a problem.

agree well let's hope that horizon series will end up like that, when that happens that would be great isn't it? no matter how many years it would take as long as they would make season 3 of it then I'm fine with that, and also are they trying to give us hint right? they just show some new characters in it at the last episode.

we better sunrise announce horizon s3 faster then shana3 got announce. shana ended in s3 but Horizon got ways to go and Shana s3 ended as a flop.
