@Zero: Well, you can always drop chapter 12 for me to correct grammar, but I won't go TOO indepth as I would before. It's not like it's exams that I need to worry about, but assignments, which give me more leeway.

They'd be student teachers. Private instituitions also have some leeway with the age thing. Furthermore, training IS is a recent thing; most of the teachers themselves aren't that much older.

The fact that this sentence could be said at all was a miracle in and of itself, at least when it came to this girl.

The Military base wasn’t the friendliest place in the world. Covered in endless fields of green and barbed wire fences, it gave off feelings of desolation and despair.
The few buildings there were used for practical purposes only. Living areas, an office, and a shooting range for training. Each one was essential to a small oupost such as this.

The only inhabitant of the area was a woman in a black uniform and some others, presumably military officers.

The woman in the dark uniform paced left and right in a strict, brisk manner. Her gait giving away her years of military experience, “Attention recruits!” She stopped and turned to the crowd of soldiers sitting in front of her.

The crowd around her was abnormal to say the least. They weren’t the strong rugged men with years of military experience showing on their face. No, these were children and teenagers, all ranging from as young as 9 to as old as 16.

All of them stood up before saluting, “Yes Ma’am!” Their tone was as strict as hers, as if they had faced danger all their lives.

The woman nodded before continuing, “We will do our usual test; One round around the obstacle field.” She looked at each of them in the eye, daring them to complain.

With suppressed groans, they made their way to the obstacle field to prepare for the days training (torture).

30 minutes later

Various amounts of people were scattered over the sandy field. Some were trapped under heavy walls of rope, others were trapped in deep pits. The training was too harsh for them.

All except one.

A twelve year old girl stood there with nary a scratch on her, her silver hair glinting in the sunlight.

“Good job Laura.” The officer smiled and patted her on the back.

A small smile made it’s way onto her face, “Thank you instructor.” She replied with a hint of pride in her voice.

It was always the same. This small, fragile looking girl always finished the tests flawlessly. She was the pride of the unit and everybody’s ideal.

“Everyone take a shower, you all need it.” The officer turned away from them and made her way back to the small office.

The various people made their way to the building containing the showers, rubbing the bruises and injuries they received from the earlier training exercise.

“Nice one Laura.”

“Great as always.”

Various people congratulated her on the way to the building. Jealousy wasn’t a problem, when it came to the unit only weakness was seen as a cause of negative attention.

Laura smiled at all the praise she was receiving. This was par for the norm for her, being the best soldier in the group had its bragging rights.

She took a shower before going to sleep on the small bunk bed. Tomorrow was going to be the same as always

So far Athena Bouclier is not in a jam... Just moving at a pace slower than a retarded turtle and there's a cohesion retreat tomorrow so things are really slow here.

Since my fic is more from Inami's POV, I'm skipping the scene where Ichika talks in his subconscious.

Also Eratas, need my help for the new crack fic?

Yup, basically a school life AU where there's no IS or dark backstories. Ichika was never kidnapped, Cecilia's parents never died, Irish was never a terrorist, Inami was never a pilot etc etc.

I'll put some lampshade hanging though like Inami being a mecha Otaku, Ichika mentioning Chifuyu going to Germany despite him not being kidnapped and Tatenashi commenting on Irish's hair being white despite the fact that he has no skull suit to change the color.

@ Stratos - I just read your plans, it's pretty good but I have something to add.

1. The school was an all-female school that's recently become co-ed. This explains the small number of males present in the story. The classes there are regular classes, not advanced computer tech research.

2. The bracelet would be confiscated. Think about it, what's stopping him from storing a gun in there? A school wouldn't take that risk. I know you said it's a secret but with teachers like Chifuyu, a prez like Tatenashi and other people he really can't hide it.

3. How did he get so good at tech? The AU means none of them have the advanced skills they have in the regular verse. Kyuukai isn't an experienced soldier or Irish isn't that good a hacker being examples.

4. I need to know if he's already dating Tsurugi or if she's still his osananajimi.

Eratas, if you're having trouble with Charlotte's segment, how about having her dream about being Ichika's childhood friend? That would be different.

Also a bit caught up in assignments.

But you might need to hone your dramatic skills on this...

That's good enough to be it's own story. I might do it in the future as a standalone fic but not now since I'll have to start from when they were kids from up to high school.
