Without Jackson, the Lakers just aren't the same anymore.

Though I am hoping that Lebron doesn't drop anymore 4th quarters...the Heat should be able to win if they can get it together.

Da Bulls... a brightside to Chicago sports -- considering how badly the Bears embarrassed themselves hours later.

Jeremy Lin revives my desire to watch NBA basketball games again. He led his team 5-0 since he played huge minutes. It's like watching an anime basketball where he is against all odds and there to prove them wrong.

Lin Dynasty?

I'm ok with this.

It'd be nice to see Lin do well long term. Him carving up the Lakers was pretty sweet.

I hear Derrick Rose be having back problems. That might open things up for Miami in that conference if it's serious. Chicago are a powerhouse at defense, but reality is without a healthy Rose, they won't score enough. Seriously, Chicago seems to be cursed with injuries across several sporting codes lately....

As for Dwight - moving or staying?

Lin is from my home town. My best friend went to church with him while we were in high school. Said he was a nice guy. My friend is surprised that he grew so much in just a few years though.

I will forever have Ice Cube's "Today Was A Good Day" in my head if Lin gets a triple double.

I'm guessing that Mr Lin is one of the countless Taiwanese boys who grew up being inspired by the Basketball-Manga Slam Dunk throughout the 1990's and the 2000's.

Geez, I expected Chicago to drop some games without Rose, but they haven't yet.

That said, Miami are equally formidable at this point. Wade has been eased back in, their transition offense is brilliant. If they can stay healthy, should be another Miami-Chicago conference final unless Indiana or Philadelphia kick it up a notch.
