Yeah, it's a painful wait to say the least. Also might not get it right away since I'll be out of town then . Oh well, when I do get a chance to play it then it'll be a great day.

They really need to stop killing me with all these videos. Just makes the wait feel even longer .

I actually want to see one of the following thing happen for the EU release:

-JP voice with the 5/6 language text/sub (similar to the Asian release)
-5/6 language tracks for the languages they are doing(nothing says "yeah we have tons of space remaining" like that, and of course leaves out the JP track)

Tbh I highly doubt EU will get Japanese voices. It never happened before to a Persona game, that's why I don't think they'll change that just because it's Vita.

EU will, like always with Persona games, get the game in English with English subs and that's it.

Of course, if they'll get Japanese voices, good for them, but I love the English one much more than the Japanese one anyways so I could care less (though I'm still a bit sad about Teddie and Chie. Hopefully I'll grow on new Chie as fast as I grew on old Chie which I think was awesome)

Lucked out immensely and managed to grab a week-early copy of the localized P4G today.

Going to start playing it immediately. This is easily one of the better birthdays I've had.

I may give my thoughts on some of the new stuff once I get around to it in-game.~

That is pretty lucky. Unfortunately will wait with the majority for the official release date. Should be a lot of fun to play this. Held off on replaying the PS2 version when I knew this was coming, just to make it as good as possible. The time has almost come .

Nobody breaking street date in my locality. I guess I'll just try on release day and the day after. I'd rather get it before the Thanksgiving rush. @_@

Just beat the game's true ending several minutes ago. Was trying to go for 100% completion of the social links on my first run but unfortunately there was about five I couldn't finish in time.

There are new events throughout the PS2 segments of the game here and there, but the biggest new thing is naturally the addition of the days December 26 through February 15th to the game. About 30 to 35 of those days can be spent finishing up social links you may have slacked on, and upgrading the characters' Personas to their 3rd ranks. The last day for that though is February 5th. The last 10 days are given to an exam week, the ski trip, Marie's dungeon (February 13th) and the Valentine's Day event.

Spoiler for Details on Marie's dungeon:

Marie's dungeon is called the "Hollow Forest". It's an interesting dungeon and is easily the most difficult one in the game because your SP is constantly sapped as you fight enemies and all your equipment and items are taken away from you inside it, so you are only able to use the items you obtain inside the dungeon itself. Fighting Marie (Kasumi-no-Ookami) can be pretty difficult too if you're not prepared as by default she can reflect every kind of attack. There ARE ways around it though.

I'll stop there because I could type SO much about it right now, so I'll just say if there's anything anyone is curious about I'll answer for them.~

This version of the game is pretty much superior over the PS2 version in every possible way. There's really no reason to go back to that version after this now.

I'm glad to hear it. One of the things I hated about the Persona games was being automatically fast-forwarded through the calendar and being robbed of the full year I was promised at the beginning. Can't wait, can't wait.

during lunchtime @ work at gamestop. i didnt pre-ordered, so i'll get whatever they
have there...lol. if they have the collector edition one, i'll get that one. if not, the regular
is fine with me. ^ ^

a question if anyone knows. is Marie a playable character? i havent play Persona 4
before, so i dont really know. and i dont see her in the anime either.

No she isn't, though she is a social link character with actual plot relevance.

I strongly recommend completing her social link before the end of the in-game December month, otherwise her dungeon isn't accessible.

There's only 2 new s. links so it's not that bad. Marie and Adachi's, but both of them have some restrictions. Marie's should be maxed before the end of December and Adachi's should be at rank 6 before the end of October.

If you can't max Marie's you'll miss out on her dungeon and a number of true ending things, and Adachi's are ranked up solely through story events (like Teddie's) after rank 6.

Not at all surprised about the reviews. They made a great game better and that's a pretty solid thing .

Looking forward to the new stuff though like Marie's social link.
