Uiharu acts weird this chapter, as if she got the reverse-Saiai treatment. [Context: the LN has shown Saiai as more energetic and playful while Railgun depicts her more professional personality. On the other hand, Uiharu was introduced as a rather vulnerable girl against Ruiko, but we got this side of Uiharu which rather cold.] Did the injury from Kakine's attack somehow changed her character?

We all know that Kamachi is a bit stingy in giving death flags, and Fuyukawa is even more so.
However, that doesn't mean "death" doesn't exist. There are many ways for a person to "die", and Kamachi is creative with his deaths most of the time.

I appreciate Noukan's cameo and the tease with the dragon. Not much to say so far about the new arc since the chapter is so short, only that I'm glad Mitori is back and I can't wait to see how this game goes wrong.

With espers being challenged to break into the detention facility, I sorta wish the Delta Force was there to see what kind of shenanigans they would pull.

I am so happy they dedicated panels to show Noukan pulling out a cigar.

I'm pretty excited. Was great seeing that character from the liquid diamond arc again. And so many other references and crazy things plus that serious dialogue with Saten and Uiharu. Talk about excellent. I'm really looking forward to this new arc. Man they really pulled off all stops to make this year as exciting as possible.

Now I don't want an anime of the daihasesai arc anymore, I want one of this new arc.

Jk, I want both.

Now that we're OT 16, Railgun will once again probably live up to the tradition of having more exciting content than Index does early on in terms of the manga/LN comparisons anyway.

Well anyway, I feel like the Jailbreaker Arc is setting itself up to be Railgun's own version of the Baggage City Arc with some aspects of the Agitate Halation Arc.

I didn't expect to see both Fusou Ayame and Oumi Shuri at all. Then again, the former did show up once before in the Railgun manga. I hope Ayame becomes a recurring character. She's pretty fun.
