And so, chapter 13 brings an end to volume 2! Man, EVERYONE was great here..... Kira, Kodama, Runover..... heck, even Akari (she's really starting to become my favorite "tsundere" type character

). Heh, I sure can't wait to see that Chinese chick's new wheelchair!

Kira being the one to fight was quite unexpected.
It was awesome as usual and it surprised me that we didn't see the scene of the woman getting her legs broken considering considering the nature of this manga...

^Even if we weren't shown the whole process of her legs being destroyed, I wouldn't at all doubt that we'll see the gruesome aftermath of Runover's handiwork in a future chapter.

Wow, I didn't think that we'd see a continuation of chapter 5's ending!

But yeah, those scenarios were great. Obviously I like the Kodama/Akari one the best (though Runover's was great, too). And as far as the boss' situation goes..... honestly, I actually prefer him as a lumpy old guy.

Yeah his current appearance goes well with his personality. I would have liked his bishonen self to be a sporadic secondary character, oh well at least we have Runover and Kira for the attractive guys.
But what was the point of the chapter really?

Pretty sure it was to give us a better idea of the boss' personality/background (he even kind of says that much himself in the chapter). We haven't seen much of him in the series so far, so I think he deserved a little more screen time, personally.

So was that whole backstory with the girl real? If it was it probably was the version where he failed to save her, hence his whole philosophy of not standing out.

It's just that the chapter started like another mission about finding some bishonen and ended up being a monologue about his life, I mean why he started explaining all that to the man from ch. 5 instead of another character.

Aside from the continuation of his backstory I'd love to see him in action.

Well, maybe this chapter IS meant to set up a story arc for the boss or something. Like I said, he's gotten the least screen time out of the main cast, so perhaps his moment in the spotlight has finally arrived (contrary to his reluctance to stand out).

Runover's father is a giant! I wonder if they'll continue this story in the next chapter or if they'll switch to something else since the story is technically over for this mini-story.

I'm fairly confident that the story isn't over yet. I mean, looking at the volume's table of contents you can even see the next chapter's title is in Italian, so yeah. And besides, it wouldn't be a Runover story without some sort of massacre being involved, would it?

Spoiler for 14: The guy from chapter 5 reappears, god just looking at him is painful. Those "what if" situations about what Kira and Runover would do to save the girl, especially Runover's one And let's not talk about great Kodama and badass Akari who get stuff done in no time THAT PLOTWIST, THE BOSS WAS ACTUALLY HANDSOME! What a waste... Hopefully we'll get an explanation about why he decided to change his handsome face? __________________

When he lifted Runover We learn a bit more about his childhood, man I felt so bad watching him happily run while playing football But him not being able to walk is now part of his charm. I'm happy that in the end Pietro chose to follow his ideals despite the consequences and thanks to that we're going to see Runover saving his dear friend I hope the next chapter does continue this because I want to see action __________________
