Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki
11th entry in the trails series and the first game in Calvard arc, Kuro no Kiseki have been announced for 2021. No platforms announced yet, but it should at least come to PS4.
You can read about it on gematsu, and I expect the official website to come tomorrow after Falcom's shareholder meeting. Last edited by LROlsson; 2020-12-17 at 00:18. |

Well at least the complainers can finally rejoice that we've left Erebonia at long last.
Hmmmm yeah looks like less a sword and more of a metal bar with a handle. Well it'll be interesting to finally see things from the Republic's side.

It even gave me a laugh when I read the interview in famitsu since they will replace the bonding event system with something that has another name since he is an adult. Like, it can't be called bonding events since he is an adult. |

Calvard was already a powder keg before Operation Jormundgand, so.it would be interesting to have a finer look at the country that borders the rest of the continent that's already in decline as per Ka Fai's letters.

However, I agree that a fresh breath is always a good idea. I wouldn't even mind no romance at all (as a big romance fan) or having it already pre-established as a background story and instead a big focus on friendship/comradeship between the main cast. Anyway, I remember somehow that with Calvard the new more action-driven combat system will also be used. Will be interesting to see how it will turn out. |

While I think it's quite possible for a love triangle, it will not likely be between those three.
The protagonist already kind of have a love interest, a bracer that isn't fond of his choice of becoming a Spriggan and hasn't really been in contact with him lately. I wonder what her reaction will be when she founds out that he is running around with a high school girl. |

Going by Falcom tradition of teasing next arc characters in books*, blond girl seems to be Sunshine Agnes from books in Trails of Azure.
Spoiler for small spoiler from Hajimari:
*If you didn't know this already, from what I remember: Spoiler for just in case:

Ah, we're finally moving on to the Calvard arc... I've been waiting for this! That detail about the new cast being more morally grey intrigues me, as well. I also see Kondo claiming that this new title will be an entry point for newcomers, but I also recall him saying the same thing about the Sen/CS series, so excuse me if I have some lingering doubts about that statement, lol. Also, totally looking forward to the soundtrack!
BTW, I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but there was another Kiseki announcement, though it's not LoH-related: Nayuta is getting a PS4 remaster! Still, while this is great news on its own right, I still would have preferred a sequel... |
