"Cloning" only existed when everyone needed Asuna/Negi's power a.k.a. the current timeline. If we were in the happy ending, the Original Touta would have exist after all IF and only if Konoka is the mother.

Unless year 2087 arrives and using Chao's Cassiopeia plus parallel timeline jump with Touta makes sense to make him exist in the happy end timeline. :'D

All the divergence points we've seen clearly explained enough would happen after Negi is rendered an immortal unable to have children the normal way, so I guess cloning would still be necessary if Negi wants to have descendants, Good Ending or not.

The anime saying Touta had a bit of everyone in Class 3-A in him is probably bull for the manga's purposes, but in the Good Ending timeline, I could see everyone in the class being competitive enough to go for it, even if only because they don't want to lose to Chisame that badly. Not so much in the Bad Ending/UQ Holder timeline, where things are way more serious and darker and we should assume 3-A as a whole had to grow up far more mature; this Touta, the one we follow, most likely has no elements from the rest of Ala Alba, but maybe another timeline's Touta does.

we now have some definite answers to some of the Negima characters, as the Bad End flash back continue, explains why Rakan, Al, Yue, and Bookstore are on the other side, (for the extra 40 years), and having both Fate and Negi’s girl kills off, (well, no problem, we just need to get back on another timeline, like I always said from the beginning, a timeline where Tota is not needed.) however, we are still not to the point of explaining why Yukihime refuses Tota, so we have to wait another month for it. (did this chapter seems very disjoint from the last one? where is the trans point?)

on Yue and Nodoka bing the permanent pactio partner, that is about as close to a harem twin flight end for Negi, so they should be able to finish a close 2nd to Chisame even in happy end, I guess those two comes in as a package deal like Setsuna/Konoka, it is either both of them or none of them. which lend more credential to those 2 being married.

2025 meaning the 3A girls are 36, 37 years old, which certainly explains why Yuna looks the way she was in flashback.

and about the birth of Tota and question of his mother from last chapter? I am pretty sure it is Haruka, we still needs more explanation, like how he was raised into a 14 years old body in 2 years. Ken is skipping many details, one of the reasons I think he skips to do the end of Negima and instead doing it from UQ in flashback, the process for bad end is long and non entertaining without pay off.

It is Golden Week in Japan, so all of the monthly manga chapters (of which UQ Holder is one) had to be in early. Weekly chapters just take the week off.

So, the book went to the printers a week early, and then whomever it is that grabs a copy of the manga magazine prior to it being shipped to stores just scans stuff in and puts it online.

The moral of this story is, if you keep a Naruclone around and marry another Naruclone, the world will end out alright. If you don't keep the Naruclone and dump the other Naruclone for the threesome, the world will be fucked up. So for God's sake, always go with the Naruclones.

148 is in the June issue on sale May 9th. 149 is advertised for the July issue, thus there is no break, most magazine's cover date is not the on sale date, but the pull off the shelf to restock new issue date.

But I am a bit confused, in both timelines, Negi managed to (literally) take out Nagi’s heart, but in the “bad end”, Ialda/Nagi appeared to be fine. On the other hand in the “happy end”, that was enough to incapaciate him (so that MotB could be drawn out)

I understand that without Asuna, they wouldn’t be able to defeat Ialda anyway

But I thought Negi and the gang (in the current UQ timeline) did manage to (temporarily) beat Ialda, but it was the “final step” of sealing her that they failed

I think it's pretty obvious, saving Nagi in good end timeline was not just authors whim, but important Chekhov gun and once Touta and co figure how was Nagi saved, they will have way save Negi.

There are three points that I don't like revealed in chapter 148. First, why did the mage of the beginning take action after several decades? Nagi was already in her control after she was free from her seal.

Secondly, why are so many characters connected to her? Eva was turn into a vampire and Al is a creation of her too?

Finally, didn't Al fought against her during the final battle 20 years ago? So how come he was already mind-controlled at that point?

Yeah, in Nagumo's flashback in chapter 24 we see a person who looks a lot like Albireo standing behind Fate. This chapter explains why Rakan, Nodoka and Yue are missing but Albireo shouldn't be in the 2065 fight either.
