Correct plural forms are usually difficult for non-English speakers of Eastern language to write correctly, as plural form is no needed most of the time to denote quantity.

The recap itself isn't a major problem, what I wonder is how this will affect the planned storyboard.

Will they simply make an additional episode? Will they end the anime an episode earlier? Will they divide the story into the remaining episodes thus cutting stuff and changing the pacing?

or it was already planned from the beginning, that they will have a recap

The production staff most likely discovered they wouldn't be able to kept up with the workload without a break months ago and have already modified the structure of the series a bit since then. It would be a ridiculous oversight not to.

That would be still a change from the original plan. And I don't see why it would be logical to assume that they had given up on matching their schedule months ago.

There's been way worse in the history of anime.
Remember Wolf's Rain, it had 4 recap episodes.

So if they plan on following the manga, instead of doing a anime original ending. What chapter would you guys consider a good stop point after the recap? Assuming they plan to make a second season and wait until next spring to resume the series/

Question for manga readers; The series is still on going, but without spoiling anything, do any of you think that it looks like the series might be coming close to its conclusion?

Frankly i'm wondering if the anime is actually going to finish, or if we'll end up having to wait for a sequel... or if we might end up in a in an FMA/Soul eater situation of the series having to make its own ending

It looks like the current season (25 episodes) won't be able to cover all the chapters of the manga released so far. The end of the manga also isn't in sight yet.

This means it will take at least another season of more than 13 episodes to complete the anime adaption.

Right now there are 46 chapters of the manga released (10 volumes). Most people are guessing that we will probably end the anime around chapter 30. AoT has been so popular though that there probably will be another season made in 1-2 years or so.

The mangaka said a little while ago that we are about half way through the series. So the manga wont be ending anytime soon.

Also Vash1306 and everybody else, take notice that we cant really talk more closely about where the anime might end. Spoilers are not allowed in this thread. For that, there is the spoilers and speculation thread!

First seaseon will definetly take at least 24-25 episodes. How far will the story advance, is still unclear. But you can actually count a chapter pro episode, however they've made the plot more linear.

The TV series is 25 episodes, and at least one of those episodes (14) is a recap episode. In the first 13 episodes the series will have covered about 18 chapters of the manga. With the remaining 11 episodes it will likely cover 12-16 more chapters. It will probably end around chapter 30 or 34.

The manga is not ending anytime soon, and it is a monthly manga, so it takes a while for the chapters to pile up.

since the author has already decided that the story is halfway through, I do hope they do second season by the time (or just before like FMA:B) the manga finished.

just hope the author stick to the schedule though, not dragging the story (in a bad way) or took long hiatus (like HxH, Berserk, or NANA author)

*sigh* i was afraid of that. I'll enjoy it while its here, but man am i gonna feel butt hurt when the season ends and gotta wait a year or two for the next season.

I haven't read the manga, but I hope chapter 30ish will be a good stopping point. Honestly i was temted to read the manga... but i was turned off by the artwork
