I think war sucks.

If I were a soldier, I'll shoot my enemy soldiers not because of an order, but because I want to save my own ass.

I don't think enemy soldiers would be such bad people either.

I just hate it when Quenser and Heivia use the word "bastard" for any enemies. You're gonna kill them anyway so you're asshole too.

that could be said the same for the opposing parties, they are most likely also referring to enemy soldiers with slander of which most likely includes the use of the word "bastard"

its just how humans are... its judged or be judged regardless...

(people really don't understand the concept of, do not do upon others what you yourself would not wish done upon you)

No offence guys, but if you're a soldier you would call everyone a 'bastard', 'asshole', 'dick', 'Son of a bitch' etc. and that's the tame stuff that I can put online.

That's just how the environment is.

I've seen even the most upstanding guy eventually succumbing to the lure of vulgarities in a matter of days. Its nothing personal, that's just how it is.

...Of course, you don't do that in public, you got to separate that shit I mean, stuff.

Also, it's nice to think that Enemies are humans as well, but that's not a luxury you can always afford... Things like that is what keeps people in psych wards.

js06 has finished Chapter 2... and being badass Heivia is still suffering.

Some people are still not gonna be happy at the overall premise of this series... which is basically how two footsoldiers (with the help of a friendly mech) destroy/disable an opposing mech... and how one guy can stop cruise missiles. Kinda like "this is a series about mechs right!? WHY ARE THESE LAME DUDES WRECKING AT THESE MONSTERS WITH NOTHING BUT CLAYMORES, AND IT WORKS!? DAMN PLOT ARMOR!!!"

But meh, it's funny that way so let's wait for the next.

It could work both ways; I do believe there are mecha fans who want to try something different for once instead of a wonder boy protagonist that is destined to pilot the ultimate mecha.

But as I've said before Assassin, military otakus are pretty open minded for anything of their genre... You could have Mahou Shoujos working together with the JSDF equip with power suits to fight aliens and they'll still watch the shit out of it.

I think we shouldn't rush for an Anime yet. At the moment, Heavy Object is only worth a 1 cour adaptation.

Give it a few more years to pick up it's fanbase and hype... Which would give Dengeki more of an incentive to fork out big money for it's adaptation. I'm kinda hoping Heavy Object would at least be as successful as Accel World eventually, once Kamachi stop treating it as a short story collection.

I have no problem with it as well, but I suspect the lack of an overarching storyline is what's holding it back from even breaching the top 60 titles of Kono-Ranobe's rankings.

In terms of sales though it seem to be doing decently around 20k+ each opening week.

Any idea of 2ch's reception?
