Isn't this all in the name of comic relief? Ryo riding on that kid's bicycle is supposed to be hilarious to the viewers. And since Benimaru is based off of Polnareff from the Jojo series of manga, he also inherited some of the flamboyant nature of some of that series' characters.

Wow, that episode was awful. At least the very last part with Heidern was relevant, the rest was just awkward and uncomfortable and didn't feel like it had anything to do with KoF. Plus it made Terry look kind of dumb for forgetting someone he apparently spent a lot of time with as a kid.
Next episode looks to be back on track, though. All of the teams are gathering. |

I wish this series had just considered the Fatal Fury anime canon and continued Terry, Andy and Joe's story from where it ended, instead of rehashing it and mixing it with the KoF '94 plot. Angelina is clearly meant to be Lily McGuire redux.
