Lavi didn't seem that jealous when Allen and Lenalee were getting all touchy-cheeky. I am starting to think again there might be one with Road if she is still alive. I think Allen would rather save her if he could.

Well, this chappie's pretty darn exciting if you ask me, downright emotional too....

Apparently, power has been knocked out to some of the Black Order's Science Division Floor, and the head nurse is out and about treating the injured, with Krory still out cold

However.....well, it seems that Lenalee was on her way to Hevlaska to attempt a synch with her Innocence, and along the way she's stumbled into the Head Nurse and Lavi. And while Lavi got, well, a rather decent dose of flak from the head Nurse for not wanting to get his wounds treated (Damn, that was funny), Lenalee recalls memories of trying to synch with her Innocence, while Hevlaska tells her, she must "Have resolve".

Apparently, Lenalee is concerned about how all of this is affecting Komui, as apparently the entire ordeal with her is giving Komui a bit of emotional distress. She even now begins to doubt her Innocence as she wonders why it brings so much strife to her World.

At that point, it is announced that the Lv 4 has made it's way to the Science Division, and there's no word on the Generals' whereabouts.

The Level 4 then confronts Komui, telling him as a Head Officer of the Black Order's HQ, his head must have a price on a par with that of other exorcists, and after killing the Men assigned to protect him, is narrowly saved by Kanda and his 1337 skillz. Mugen's still unrepaired though. =(.

The Officers of the Science Division then try to use their Talismans, or their shields, to entrap the Akuma, but it appears to not even be phased by this, and starts to laugh and attempt to break their Barrier, Kanda prepares to hold the Akuma off.

Hevlaska then tells Komui that he must take the Innocence within her, and flee, to use the Ark to connect to the Asian HQ and run. It's apparent she wants to go down with HQ, for as long as there's Innocence, HQ can be rebuilt.

Reever however, wants to attempt a forceful synchro between Lenalee and her Innocence, but Hevlaska says a synchro without Resolve is most probably a fatal process.

The chappie ends with Reever approaching Lenalee, and with him, a grim request to end this chapter with a terrible cliffhanger.

Guido'll prolly do way better than my summary though. Just thought I'd fill in for a while.

Lenalee sure is close to lavi huh. Why the hell is it always lavi? Yeah; I know; it's cause either allen is always fighting or out of the picture. In the anime; the relationship between allen and lenalee have been strongly hinted out. But; I'm not getting all those vibes on the manga counterpart though. As of the latest chapters. There has been 0% interaction between those two.

Recall the Innocence revival Arc, some hinting there.

Chapter 148 was great. This on lvl4 is owning EVERYONE. Even Hebraska knows they have to run. Poor Lin, she's in a lot of emotional pain. So the Inspector is going to force Lin to activate, or so it seems. It better not go like this: Lin activates....fights the lvl 4.....and wins. That would be completely lame. She is indeed strong and may have the heart but to win by herself is whack. There are others with so much more power than her, like the generals and Allen. Lets see what happens next week, this has gotten really interesting. I just hope there isn't some lame defeation of the lvl 4. The lvl 4 isn't even going all out, but yet he destroys everything in is path and takes on all attacks with laughter.

When Allen was introduced to Hevlaska the very first time for her to check his Innocence, Komui only told him that she is an Exorcist and for the moment, that's all.

Well this recent chapter tells me that there is some sort of connection between Inspector Malcolm and Hevlaska. What that connection means, only time will tell.

I do see Lenalee getting into this fight but not definitely taking down the level 4 on her own. Recall back to the fights with Eshi and Thread. Lenalee and Allen pulled out all the cards and still won barely by the skin of their teeth. Even if Lenalee does somehow manages to sync and gets a new form for her Innocence, likely that it'll be a combined effort with Allen/Generals/all of them with her taking the spotlight. Next critical to appear perhaps?

That said, pretty nasty foreshadowing this chapter. Lenalee's line about "I hate innocence" just brings back the vibes of the Togaochi arc. Coupled with her current state, it doesn't look pretty if Lenalee is going to sync with that kind of mentality, if at all.
