Was not expecting three members to get treated like fodder but at least it gets them out of the way and Gajeel can still take on the more serious members. Now to see how Natsu will handle confronting Gray.

Last week I thought that the Avatar members were actually quite likeable and now I'm wondering there might be a chance to turn them. I hope Gray's condition doesn't become an ongoing thing though. Ideally, in my opinion, this will be a mini-arc to bridge into the next big arc. Loving the classic FT break-neck pace of this chapter

One of the things Ive liked about fairy tail compared to the other big shounen manga was the pacing. I never felt that fights dragged on to long though some of you may have a different opinion.

Natsu defeating 3 guys from Avatar was unexpected but it's kind of obvious, Natsu has been training for over a year. I'm more interested in Gray's power.

I've been enjoying this arc, seeing Natsu one shot these type of guy's has been fun

Anime is at the part where Natsu and Gray are at each other's necks, comical but perfect timing

Can't wait for an actual fight between the two, they've always been comical fights now we get to see what they can really do against one another

Side spoiler said ones slightly stronger than the other, I have a feeling I know who it is but still should be a good fight.

Wonder what Hiro has in store for when Erza comes in? Bet it will be good, another favorite of Hiro's after all right? Don't know if Gray will be there, by the sounds of the title for the next chapter I don't know.

I hope Natsu beat Gary up, he kind of being supid or the black dragon return and kick everyone butts again a spiecaly Gary who is being supid. I hate went character do what Gary does, it make me hope they die but that never happen. Maybe Gary will be one shoted because he was to buiness being evil for 6 month and did not train well Natsu train for the whole year. It would be boring but Gary is being supid and the best way to stop someone from being supid show them how weak they were.I hope Natsu tell Gary that everything that happen in the Magic Games was all because of him.

You know Gary wanting revange on people have ended up killing a lot of people that he care for, so this mean that Juiva is going too be the next person he end up killing. If he want to avenge the people he care about he should just beat himself up because most of the time it all because of him and don't go back to reavenge on something and learn from his mistake and MOVE FORWARD WHICH HE IS FAILING AT,BADLY.

I will say this again I hate main chararcter that do what Gary does and alway hope they will dead because it mean I don't have to see their supidness ever again and for some reason even if I seen the character redeem himself, most of the time I just can't forgive there supidness, but sometime a character does come up that I can like again after this supidness, my question is will Gary be one of these or will he become another Sakuae, who even after the end of Naturo I hate.

natsu an gray start a fight, they looked a little equals on the beginner but natsu still looks a little more strong

gray darkness is really strong inside him
mary use a dark magicto cause lucy a pain in her stomach
the fodders are back and where able to capture natsu using the anti-magic chains
levi appear and is in concil force with gajeel
like all the dark guild they want kill everyone with the evil plain.

I expected as much for them guys to get back up again altho I was hoping they would be out of it for abit longer.
Shame really as I did want Natsu to really actually fodder 1 or 2 for real but ofc thats rarely the case for big arc characters.

Oh well lets hope we see things moving along next chapter, hope Gajeel isn't all talk here.

And I won't deny that the start of the chapter was pretty awesomely amusing

Ah, now that's more like it. I was resigned to think only a few of the bad guys would be more than Natsu fodder, but it seems these guys will be worthy opponents after all. And now I actually want to see Fairy Tail kick the crap out of them.

I knew Gajeel and Levy wouldn't leave each other. And people thought they did just because Gajeel showed up alone (with Lily, but still). And it turns out Levy is the Council's mole in Avatar. A shame since I thought it'd be interesting if one of the villains turned out to be the spy. But of course, how would one of the higher ups not get caught somehow?

According to this tweet translation I read, we'll be getting four consecutive issues with double-chapters. That means eight chapters in four weeks.

For some reason I felt like that was the least convincing betrayal I have ever seen in a shounen series, maybe its just me but it sounded more like gray was trying very hard to believe what he was saying.

Pretty 'okay' chapter here. Kinda wanted a little more of a glimpse into Gray's power like we got with Natsu earlier this arc. I didn't expect an all out battle, but something more would've been nice. I'm also hoping we get to see how strong this Jerome character is. I feel like he's being positioned as Avatar's next big gun after Gray. Weird how Levy ended up being the spy. It would've been more interesting if there was someone within the group selling them out. Oh well.

Pretty sure that was done purposefully. To show that Gray is still in there, somewhere. Would've been pretty cheesy of he just went with the typical fake-out thing and said everything with an unconvincing 'evil' look on his face, which only happened at the end after he composed himself a bit. I actually liked how conflicted he was for the majority of this chapter.
