I don't know about kiruko being ok that quick after being raped for two days. Maybe it helped that maru rescued her when she called for him and almost killed robin in front of her, too bad he didn't finished him. I guess they will adress that when they get intimated, I'm sure they will get together. Kiruko will fall sooner or later.

Well this was a 8/10. I liked the mistery and the chemistry between maru and kiruko. I ship them.

Now that it's over, the whole rape plot feels even more gratuitous since things just returned to the status quo. Kiruko recovered really fast too.

I'm sure we'll see Robin again since he was apparently up to some nasty stuff besides raping. Hopefully this time Maru will kill him.

Well...that was a lot of stuff.

At least we're getting a general idea of events by the end of the show. At the start it did seem like everything was happening at the same time, but obviously by the end things are a bit more clear.

Another case of humanity's hubris causing the apocalypse it appears.

At least that rescue was pretty satisfying. Show ends on a decently positive note considering...all that happened the past couple episodes.

I feel like the point of the previous ep was one part show how bad the world can be to these protagonists, and also to awaken that odd memory in Kiruko. But since this is where it ended, it'll be a while before we get any answers in animated form. I think there could've been another way to do it besides sexual assault, especially with this really mellow follow through on the part of how it affected our protags, they seem to be back to business as usual. The show overall had really nice production values and mystery, at least we know a little bit more about how the world came to be as it is.

8/10

Maru beating up Robin was satisfying to see. Not only he gave him one ridiculously long beat up without any remorse but the entire scene had no music or dialogue. Just brutality.

The second half of the episode was also nice to see but it's a shame the manga is monthly meaning we'll have to wait a lot more for a season 2

I'm kinda confused about something. After Kiruko and Maru left the lab, we learned the dude had been conducting one of those Hiruko experiments apparently. Was that left up to interpretation like the possibility of Shiro being Usami?

Seems the anime was popular enough to win the Anime of the Season award from Anitrendz

I'm always reminded how not with the norm I am whenever news from Anitrendz is announced . I thought it was pretty solid. But wouldn't have expected it to be that popular.

Certainly not compared to Oshi no Ko. Since the awards are based on fans voting, I expected the most hyped show of the season to be at the top of the list.

Kana was voted as best female character of the season now that you say it but I don't really know how it works. I can't tell if it's a new voting or compilation of every week. I kinda believe it's the latter considering the site said the anime's second half was surprisingly more popular as it appeared at the top for four consecutive weeks.

I had to rewatch the finale to understand something. Tokio only gave birth to one baby and somehow there are two identical which the doctor took care of. However, due to the incident the doctor has no idea which is the first baby and whatever is the second one. The manga seems to explore this a bit more in latest chapters but there is no thread so far.

In case anybody is interested, the author is asked about the most controversial part of the series
https://animecorner.me/interview-mas...lusion-gender/

Q: With Robin, you have probably created one of the most hated characters in the history of manga and anime. Do you agree with that? How did you come up with the character Robin?
A: I didn’t expect Robin to be hated as much as he becomes, but all I can say is that he was born in the story out of sheer necessity. He’s a very important character.

In case anybody is interested, there is a manga thread here https://forums.animesuki.com/showthr...venly+delusion
