Doubtful. Selvaria is dead and was a labrat, and two years kinda make it impossible for her to be Welkin and Alicia's daughter.
I think that after Selvaria and Alicia revealed that Darcsen aren't the stuff of legend, and that anyone might hold the blood of the Valkyrur, there was a mass experiment of people testing out to see if they had Valkyrur blood. The military jumped on this to get a chance to recruit them, and that brings us to where we are now. Quote:
And then you hear your own queen is a filthy little Darcsen... RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! Last edited by Keroko; 2009-07-17 at 09:40. |

Aside from that the screenshots are looking interesting. There's obviously a drop in graphics quality but it's not terrible. I'm interested in some of what is on there though. There's a little multi-section mini-map on the overhead map screen shot, maybe branching missions depending on how you progress to each section. Also looks like equipment will be more varied, they've got the little stat polygon going on there. Not to mention a Morale meter? That should be interesting... |

Huh? Wonder what that "morale" counter is about? I'm guessing if troopers die it goes down, and goes up for every kill? And knowing the Japanese... combat boosts if it hits a certain point.
Also just noticed that they do actually run around in Gallian military outfits during the battles! Hooray for common sense! Edit: Wow. Just noticed something. In that screenshot where it's the Gallian tank's turn, it's currently targeting what looks to be a heavy-style tank. The tank's name in Katakana spells out "Dandelion". A dandelion is a member of the family Asteracae. Now, take a guess as to what prominent plant family that an Edelweiss belongs to? Seems like Gallia started mass production on the super tank... Edit2: Looks like they got rid of tank tread HP as well. Edit3: Interesting... looks like they've got multi-zone/multi-stage maps this time around from that map screenshot. This picture has a unit class symbol I'm not familiar with. New classes?! (It appears to be Cosette with this class)

Interesting development... does this mean that they can heal things other than incapacitation? Can we still call them with any other unit? I imagine they'd be... ah... fragile.

She apparently carries a rifle too:

I'm curious as to what role the navy will play in this game, there are scans of artwork, but does it say whether or not they will have impact on the gameplay?
I'm loving the increased customization. Anything that can make my army feel more like my army is welcomed. |
