problem with the graphics on windows.

Hey there, i just bought this laptop, dell inpirion 6400 with an ati x1400 and when i look at the icons that windows have it seems SOOO pixellated compared to my other laptop and desktop. wtf is wrong?? here is a sample

if u look on the tip of each button u can see the difference. it just doesnt look as smooth.

can not figure out why.... or how to fix it. i reinstalled my ATI driver but still nothing.

The icons are different, if you check the restart button, it becomes pretty clear (the location of the thicker line is different). Maybe this is Dell's version. If there is an option to revert back to XP's original theme, or the icon set, you might obtain the original ones (unless the original version is already modified).

Maybe it's got to do something with ClearType fonts in Windows, check this out. There is a download link for a PowerToy there which can enable them.
