The motives of his parents come from absolutely nowhere, which only serves to make the whole Anya = Lulu's mother thing from last week even more ridiculous. And let's not go into the "Lelouch geasses God" thing.
Well I'll have to see the episode subbed to get what's up with that. From the sound of it though they had this planned for a while.

It's like Taniguchi was running out of time so he just threw everything together without any real rhyme or reason. The entire Black Knights fiasco was unbelievable enough, but this really takes the cake.
Who cares if it's unbelievable, it's anime, it's sci-fi/fantasy. Once people start realizing that it's not this ultra realistic by the book show that they think it has to be then I think we'll be in good shape.

I'm really confused.

Was this horrible writing or just the most epic episode I've ever seen in my life?

Are you sure? Marianne makes it pretty clear that C.C. was a part of it. Meaning, that she was a part of the plan. Unless it suddenly changed after she left the royals.

Look at his palm as he reaches Lelouch. You see the code but his hand conveniently wraps around Lelouch's neck as he disintegrates. He mentions something about Schneizel. I wonder... could he have passed the code?

...
Last I checked, you couldn't have a Code and a Geass at the same time.

Unless Lelouch got himself free from those restraints and evolved beyond.

That's it. Marianne points it out too, before she disappears. And C.C. tells her she wasn't interested anymore.

Hum, I suppose that works. But I find it strange that she would get off for simply being 'uninterested' when she was part of the group that started it. Meaning, she had intent to kill the gods.

He got it during Turn 14, while V.V. was injured with wounds all over himself.

ah...but Lelouch has double geass...so it's good
He may have given it to Schneizel or Bismarck. He doesn't have to be close to them to pass it on, I believe. Schneizel wears gloves... darn it.

Something is WRONG in that scene. CC is still around... why?

In the end Marianne was useless!!!

I mean, she didn't do anything at all: she just followed Charles like a dog!!!
....And the way they died made me LOL!

You also have to take the code. It isn't passed, its taken. Lelouch and Bismark still have their Geass, so unless they pull convenience out of their asses... again... neither of them have the code.

I may have misheard, but Lelouch told her to go. But she refused, and said she wanted to smile once before she died.
