Anna is more of a troll-tease and relies more on her sharp tongue than any physical approach, Gin has... No appeal

Alice is his fiancee, not his sister or cousin, as far as I can tell. Japanese Wikipedia says she is the daughter of a family that helped him. It says more, too, but that takes us into spoiler territory.

To you, and apparently to many people here. But on the Japanese illustration site pixiv, there are currently 90 images of Anna, 84 of Akiko, 49 of Gin, and 27 of Arashi. That's similar to my reading of how 2channel is reacting, too.

It's probably just personal taste. Personally, Arashi is too loose for my taste and Anna is kinda trollish, and that just doesn't appeal to every guy (ESPECIALLY ones who have a VERY low level of patience). Then you got Akiko who is considered off bounds and Gin who is completely fair game, but kinda meh to some.

Then with the Editor, they were in the workplace so he had every good reason to be resistant. And I think he handles his aggressive sister very well with his wit.

And then there are just some guys who just don't put getting ass around the top of their to-do list and could care less. Hell, Akito seems pretty content with going to school and writing novels. Its one thing when the guy shows he HAS interest in a girl, but just acts like a wimp. But Akito is just pretty "Meh" about the whole concept of hooking up with someone it seems.

I think someone mentioned up thread, as means of a spoiler, the basic idea, but I can't find it at the moment. Still, the basic thinking, given what we've seen so far, goes like this:

Akito has gone to a lot of trouble to create a situation where he can live with his sister again as a family. (I think the implication is their parents are very dead) However, his sister has a nasty & open Brother Complex. So he's left in a position where he'll never view her "that" way, yet he also doesn't want to injure her severely nor force a bad response from her by dating another girl. (Besides, he really doesn't have the time) So he's just simply shutting down all romantic possibilities out of benefit to his sister, himself and his time. The troika invited themselves to the dorm, in the first place, so he didn't choose to have them there.

It would have been better if they animated the part where the girls forced themselves to be in the same dorm as them or maybe animated a good introduction for each character. However in the 1st episode they completely erased that and they are already living in the same dorm as well as Akito having the duty of a student council member.

As much as I loved all the Ana screentime in the previous episodes, I'm happy Akiko took back her rightful place as heroine this time. I still can't believe she's voiced by a 14 year old, she has a good voice, great elocution and she delivers her lines perfectly no matter how embarrassing they might be. That girl has got a bright career ahead of her. Now, let's see if the 13 year old newcomer will be able to impress us as much.

Akiko's shirts crack me up. It's great that she is proud of her feelings for her brother. Now, if only the brother could "be ambitious" (she needs to wear that shirt before the end of the anime).

Yeah, I love the way Akito responds to his sister's advances. He's completely unfazed by them now, to the point he can even turn things around and tease Akiko. I really enjoyed that part. It was made even better by the editor's presence.

The only girl he can't seem to be able to handle is Ana, but even then he doesn't really panic as much as other harem protagonists would do. I'm curious to see how he'll act around the loli.

You mean Arashi. Akito can handle Ana since she has her weakpoints, but Arashi is aggressive to the point where Akito tries to climb out a window to escape her...

Arashi is a whole different beast. He has no choice but to run away if he wants to save his virginity.

And I don't think he's aware of Ana's weak points yet. Last time was a fluke. He will still get teased by her, I'm sure.
