Yes, Guilty Crown had a great story. Shu was a very innovative character who despite giving into his pain and agony redeemed himself by the end of the show. Usually the main would just be killed off like Code Geass. The show was also filled with all kinds of metaphors (the title itself is a metaphor if you didn't know) that were so beautiful and probably just went over most people's heads. Most of the time things like that would be pretentious but somehow the GC staff really reigned in the script and delivered something special that no one saw coming on noitaminA. It's too bad that Yoshino isn't doing the script for this I'm sure he'd do a bang up job with this.

Tbh I don't think Guilty Crown was all that bad really, though I can't say it was particularly good either. There was certainly a lot of crap but I do remember a few really good moments too so for me it kinda averages out. I hope this will be better though.

Whoa! I just discovered the manga of this...thought "hmm, this would make an awesome anime..." then found this thread. Whoo! Looking forward to this.
Isn't Araki also the director for Death Note? Edit: Saw the trailer. Looks good. Love the aerial acrobatics of the camera and character. Animation seems good.

Looks like this show might not be Nichigo after all. Looks like an ad just popped up on Tokyo MX during Code:Breaker's broadcast. Considering how an ad was also aired on MBS after Code:Breaker last week, it could be on the MBS Anime Shower block instead, and air on Tokyo MX instead of TBS for the Kanto region.

in personally think the only problem the only problem i had with GC was that it thought it was gonna be the next gurren lagan or madoka, but it came short compared to both, in the end the directo did a good job with the material he/she had, and noticing the fantastic animation this had i have a huge amount of faith in this.

Oh my god. Wow. Wouldn't of imagined in a million years Shingeki was going get an anime adaptation any time soon.
God its going to need some SERIOUS censoring lol. The number of people who get brutally eaten alive in this series is astronomical. Mind blown! ... watched the pv.. SO PUMPED woo! Here's to hoping they pull off a good adaptation, and don't tone it down too much. As for the ending, no idea what they could do there; the manga isn't going to get much further by the time this airs, and it at such a unresolved state atmo. Still, who cares! Yay for it getting an anime! Last edited by Pacify; 2012-12-19 at 03:31. |

New broadcast update: Definitely not Nichigo. It will be broadcast on MBS, Tokyo MX, and many other channels, just like the big Anime Shower shows in the recent seasons (Fate/Zero, SAO, Code:breaker, Jojo, etc). |
