Guys how many of you have seen the different version of Moe-Moe-Kyun from past anime?

So far the best moe-moe kyun pose i found that i like best is still Mio Akinawa (K-On), Sena version is cute but a bit letdown.....cannot feel the moe-moe kyun feeling

Tries her hardest huh? When have we seen Sena struggling with anything? She's Ms. Perfect. It's even been shown a few times that she can perfect anything she does in just several hours.

I don't respect bullies, period. I've stood up to many bullies in my life in protection of those less fortunate, and it never ceases to amaze me how bullies tend to do so in order to cover for own weaknesses. It is the same with Yozora. Whenever anyone stands up to her or proves her wrong, she seems to always craw back into uncertainty and insecurity. She plots to put the others down in order to get closer to Kodaka, but it usually backfires against her. She is both a bully and a deceitful schemer.
What Rika did this episode with her "tsundere" act is what I would classify going too far and being a bully. She was actually kicking Kodaka, making him do things against his will and violently knocking things over. If that's how Yozora acted on a regular basis then I would agree she is one, but that's not the case.

I think you're seeing negative things in her that aren't actually there. Her pranks are for the benefit of the club members, namely Sena and Maria.

Interesting thing to say from someone who has compared herself to Yozora on several instances.

Erm no, Sena doesn't have to try hard at all. She's naturally talented remember?

Does not intentionally put others down? Is that why she's a Goddess gracing mere humans with her presence?

Sena is that kid from when you were young, who boasts too high and cries and runs away when people challenge her and she loses.

She should probably focus hard not opening her mouth... That seem to work fine for Yukimura.

Given the rest of the cast, and even the setting of this show, Yozora comes off as a bully. She goes the extra mile to embarass and humiliate Sena. All. The. Time.
But you HAVE watched other Animes haven't you? You have experienced other stories and have been able to remember how much of a gap there is between a prankster and a real bully.

Thats call having a rival and a mortal enemy- Sena isn't some helpless innocent girl.

Wow, that's really stretching it. And who is she hurting again? The guys? Umm... They are willing to do it. The girls? Seriously now... They are jealous of her for how the guys treat her. So now, since people are jealous of you, then you automatically become the person doing harm to them?

Well, there is not much to argue on this point. From this episode, we could either interpret that she is naturally talented or that she actually tried to achieve all those things in order to be number one. It is all to perspective with the information we have been given.

Bullying is bullying. There are different types of bullying, but they are bullying nonetheless. Just because she does a less severe type of bullying still means that she is bullying.

Apparently, I'm not the only one if you read other people's posts. Is her intention really to help Sena and Maria? Or does she have some sort of self satisfaction in doing so? From what we've seen of her, it seems like she really feels good to put others down.

Umm... Yes, she is conceited. We both agree on that. You can hate her for being conceited, but you have to agree that she does not in full conscience try to harm people in doing so.

Sadly, Yozora is the one doing that right now, at least the part where she runs away when people challenge and she loses. As I said, I do agree with you that Sena is conceited, and for a lot of accounts, she backs up what she is conceited about.

As Sumeragi pointed out, essentially all of them have faults. That's why they don't have any friends.

Sena is not a helpless girl. She's an idiot, but she's not some frail helpless girl.

And apparently Sena feels terrible for being a goddess among human...

Tell me something though, why doesn't she do anything to Yukimura and Kobato then?

I don't see how that makes things any better or excusable especially when she does it constantly.

I'm going to have to ask for an example of this where she runs away when challenged and lost. In the two events where she puts down Rika's movie and game and was proven wrong, she admits that she was wrong and apologized.

I do not think Sena is dense (or dumb), she is more like Medaka (from Medaka boobs) that she really wants to try to be Yozora's friend, putting faith in her when most people would have already given up. Yeah, that is an outrageous personality trait, but if you think for a moment, NONE of the club members are normal, it is just that some are odd and some are plain abnormal.

What happened to calling an idiot an idiot? This isn't her first streak of stupidity.

Maybe it's a stretch, but I can't really disregard it. You're just shoving the blame onto the girls that hate her rather than Sena herself. Nobody is perfect, so I think someone who believes they are is just asking to hated unless they change their attitude. The guys are just feeding her arrogance and conceitedness and making it even worse. Jealousy may or may not have a part in this, but there's no guarantee it does.

Maybe I'd believe she tries her hardest if she wasn't such a gullible moron outside of her test scores.

Nope. If you paid closer attention and weren't so focused on negativity maybe you'd see things differently. This episode actually has one noticeable instance that proves your statement incorrect.

Like Foresst Gump mom used to say "Stupid is as stupid does", so if trying to be friend of Yozora is stupid, so be it, but from here on anyone trying to be a friend of Yozora will be called stupid, including Kodaka.

Don't try to spin it around; She not stupid for trying to befriend Yozora, she stupid for falling for stupid tricks.

If anybody else in that room fell for those tricks (which nobody did) then they would be an idiot as well.

Except you don't know the full story - we only get the gist of Sena saying all the girls are bitches because they are jealous of her. Who is not to say Sena's idea of a girl friend is someone who's willing to lick her feet? Oh how about the part where she was alone in the room with Yukimura and she felt bored, and asked for Kodaka (then got Kobato instead?) The thing with Sena and her character type is, she doesn't give a flying fXXX if she doesn't give a flying fxxx about you (eg Yukimura, Rika) - there's no logic behind it, its not like being nice to her would'e caused her to like you. On the other hand, if she likes someone, eg Yozora, she'd crawl back no matter how many times she get stepped on. There.

The part other girls (Yozora included) hate most is how things just seems to fall into Sena's lap - born rich, doesn't need to work hard to be good at everything, Kodaka etc. Not saying the feeling is noble but it sure is justfied.

What Sena hate is the psychological bullying - the behind the back ganged up thing that she experienced, not Yozora's direct type. Which is why she keeps coming back for more (eg provoke Yozora at every opportunity)

You might have missed character description first up - Yozora is a sadist and she does derive pleasure from putting down Sena. Though with Maria's case, it's a mixed bag of teasing and responsibility (how she's correcting her table manners). Why does Yozora do it? What she got to gain from doing it? Compared this to Sena, who is only interested in Kobato, Yozora, Kodaka (in this order) and totally apathy to anyone else.

In some parallel universe manslaughter is not killing people. Yes she may not mean it but she does it all the time. And worse she can't see the harm she's doing to people.

Do not spin it around, making friends is all about trust, if you do not give it without asking for actual proof you wont be back stabbed people will think you are an insecure fellow. Do not fool yourself thinking Yozora would not attempt to trick anybody else in the room (a bitch is a bitch no matter where she goes) to get her objectives achieved just because she concentrates her effort in someone that tries to be her friend, it is obvious Sena is the biggest obstacle for Yozora in her attempt to keep Kodaka for herself (what will she do once she achieves that I have no idea and neither does Yozora).

Making friends is all about trust? Friendship isn't something so sacred, there's no friend that you should trust unconditionally. Why do we have to make such an exception for Sena? Even Kobato and Maria's 'friendship' are born from the fires of rivalry.

I'd laugh if the answer is because Sena's cute or pure

Not unconditionally, but on the terms of an average high school life setting, it is not like if anything Yozora has done is not ordinary.

You dont see Maria or Kobato abusing each others trust even once, they openly laugh/pounce at one another without hiding anything.

Anyway, this was a good episode. I might have found the 'astrology is bullshit' theme offensive and irritating if I was a believer of that, but thankfully I'm not. The tsundere maid scene was fun; whenever Rika goes tsundere, she tsuns hardcore. She continues to grow on me this season... this episode added another layer to her, with how perceptive and savvy she was in seeing through Yozora's 'fortune-telling.'

I find it easier to understand because I'm the same way myself. I was considered 'gifted' back in elementary school, and I was indeed a bright kid, but that didn't prevent me from being one of the very easiest to trick. There were times in kindergarten where my best friend pulled a prank on me a dozen times in a row, each instance literally seconds apart, and I'd fall for it every time. I feel your pain, Sena. ;_;

Well, Occam's Razor says that the simplest explanation is often the correct one... and I would say that in this instance the simplest explanation is that Yozora doesn't like the girl who she constantly proclaims dislike for, who she rarely shows any other sentiment than blind and seething contempt. If she is doing this for Sena's benefit, then that would make her a phenomenally stupid person for thinking that making someone run away crying every other day is good for them; but really, I don't think there's any kind intentions behind most of her mistreatment of Sena. Their relationship is equal enough that I don't think it's anywhere near as damaging as typical cases of bullying, where the victim is made to feel helpless and trapped, but Yozora's behavior is far from commendable. I think she genuinely is just a vindictive, angry thundercunt towards people she doesn't like (though I think this trait is entertaining and makes her an interesting character).
