I think the manga-part could have been better if it wasn't done by the filler team.
Were no feeling in it at all imo, and badly animated (as usual).

Hopefully Shippuuden will make it back to what Naruto once were, or better.

No. There wasn't. The first episode to Dragonball Z aired the following week right after the last episode to Dragonball.

Just like the first episode to Dragonball GT aired the week after the one when it was aired the last episode to Dragonball Z.

It wasn't a bad farewell to conclude the first part of the anime, and in this case I condone that they rushed on to finish the fighting in order to focus screentime on the Konoha 11 as what are reflecting for the future road ahead.

Poor Shika. He's going to have his butt work overtime by Tsunade.

Ino's getting in to be medical nin, and grudginly would have to come to terms with Sakura being her senpai.

The rest of the rookies are going to be fine.

Naruto cleans up his place, takes a look at his group portrait of Team 7, signs a farewell gesture to the stone face of the Fourth Hokage, and finally leaves Konohagakure behind along with Jiraiya; frame freezes on that last shot.

Thank god the fillers are over. I agree that such a massive break between the end of pt.1 and the start of pt.2. Some of the Naruto excitement has been killed by this, but I can only hope that the special next week can get the excitement over Naruto back. Which I'm sure it will

Interesting that Ino would start some medical ninja training, adding her families ability with that she should turn out as an excellent ninja.

Well finally Naruto is ready to go again. Should be a great week, can't wait for it. (But yeah the villan lost in a sad fashion, all that great stuff and he can't dodge a spear....sure)

The fillers have just ruined it, besides they will create new ones.

Too bad about the Kakashi gaiden, but who cares, the comming episodes will still be awesome.

saw the previews in the end OP, lets just say the drawing of the new naruto looks pretty weird, seems like his face has either gone longer or wider, and the whisker marks on his face seems to be shorten....

how do you know that they wont show kakashi gaiden?

kakashi gaiden are filler episodes too, and it would not make any sense at the start of the new shipuuden episodes show again fillers.

Ok now that i got that out of my system the filler ep part sucked, but the end (last 5 or so minutes) was awsome! I couldnt help but get the giddy feeling deep down inside my stomach .

And i was happily surprised to see that we are going to be treated to a 1hr special!

As someone else mentioned earlier i was a lil dissapointed to see sakura almost look the same in the preview, i hope down the line she gets some sexy make over or something lol.

I just love the *bleep* message befor the ep begain. 3 more weeks of filler... YHBT!!! Hallarious!
