Wrong place for this thread. There are other "Which fansubs are doing "x" project?" threads in the Fansub Groups subforum, where discussion of such topics may take place. It's generally not a good idea to request projects here, anyhow.

As for your second question, there will probably be groups who will take this project on in the near future. Contrary to popular opinion, the adage "Patience is a virtue" still holds true. However, because it is done by Media Works, there won't be many who decide to infringe on their declaration simply due to the problematic situation that is legal conflictions.

Fear not, it will be subbed (I'm not quite clear on the group situation, otherwise I'd say which groups, but rest assured, it's currently in the fansub process).

You could try getting in touch with him and convincing him to provide you with scripts so you could release digital fansubs of the episodes he fansubbed. Many thanks! I did get in touch with Dave. He funded the fansubs, and provided LDs, but the company that did the first couple for him bailed. (And took his third LD with them!) He let me borrow LD's 4-10 (I had 1,2 &3) so I could see the whole series.

It's really fun! And the storyline isn't as static as you'd think. I set David my LD #3, so he has the full set again. He'll try to record them onto DVD-R.
From there, we can convert them to files online. Then we just need a translator. I can do the timing... *Sigh* It's a long term goal.
