i bet after story would be the saddest anime up to date, it should be sadder than kanon.

After Story should be able to beat both Kanon and Air dry.
Seriously. But it's not all sad, it has a lot of happy moments too xD

Hm that depends on what ending they use, the SUPER SAD END is like... Kanon + Air combined + more sadness. The true end is different though.

But you need to go through the

SUPER SAD END
to get to the True End, so...

Not to mention the best parts of After Story are also in the Sad End route.

And we also got a glimpse of said route in the trailer, so...

I think that bad ending should be also inlcluded in AS anime. It's impossible to cover some great events & moments without it.

Not to mention that the sad ending was what made the happy end happy. Cut out the sad ending, and you just get a sudden stop.

The after story is more emotionally heavy than the school life story (season 1).
So prepare for some tissues til then.

The second season hasn't been released as of yet, and even its airing date is still subject to speculation. So you don't have to rush the first season

I'm trying to burn through the first series this week (up to episode 11). Very good so far.

I might have to look into this second season when it comes out... but from what I hear of the games, some endings are horrifically sad, and that's not usually my cup of tea. Though I did enjoy Kanon 2006.

Don't play any attention to the rumours and just enjoy the ride. You won't be disappointed

I don't know if I should watch the second season.
The first one was greate but I cannot bear it if they are going to make it sad (movie end).

I will definitely till the end of the ss, read some of your comments and decide then if I can watch it or not.
I'm soooooooooooooo weak

Nah, don't worry about the movie. The actual story is even sadder...

... yet more rewarding in the end. Don't spoil your fun

I predict a mass shortage of kleenex tissues when After Story comes out. If you're an After Story virgin, stockpile now while you can!
