Hi!
I'd like to have some kind of list of online stores that are selling stuff from Japan. I know some of them but sometimes when products becomes unavailable (mainly magazines), I try to find websites that may still have them in stock. Right now I know these ones:

www.nippon-export.com (the best one, I think)
benippon.com
amazon.co.jp
www.play-asia.com (In China, but it has japanese ps2 games)
www.akadotretail.com (In usa but import from Japan)

If someone knows other, please tell me!

cdjapan.co.jp ... they also have a frequent buyer points system for discounts.

amazon.co.jp ... their shipping is pretty high (they dropped everything but registered for overseas).

If you're near one, a Kinokuniya Bookstore.

I agree about nippon-export.com. They've been *very* accommodating --- they even tracked down a poster I was looking for that turned out to be an advertisement only posted on light rail and busses.

None of those sites you guys listed above have them.

Surely they exist......or do they??

So far I never saw any sort of merchandise for Elfenlied, ever

Has anybody ever brought from www.animewild.com

I tried contacting them via email (the only way) but they haven't replied in a while... my preorder needs a change and it's yeah... still sitting there.

Well... so far I can say the service at animewild.com is either fraudulent or just really slow. The PVC figure I pre-ordered has been released according to their systems (late release at some other sites and HLJ has it for even later... strange), but it's been days since it's been released, and no status change on the order or reply from animewild.com staff...

As the ebay people like to evaluate things: "I will NEVER buy from this seller again!"

I ussaly get my anime from Anime Pop they have every thing i need like posters cds you can even rent movies and buy J pop and anime cds. Plus it has a bunch of supper cool Japanies candy like poky and milk candy so cool.

I usually just use Amazon.jp, it has usually good prices, and that usually make up for the EMS shipping ^_^

HLJ is really a good place too. Most times, you can buy from them with EMS shipping and it's still a better price than buying them off a United States site, which they usually charge retail price for them plus a heavy dose of shipping charge.

I never did figure out how to shop at Amazon Japan; can't find a English button anywhere.

Thanks for sharing your sources. I do believe I've heard of Rightstuf before, but their prices seem high, unless you signup for membership and buy at least $50 for free shipping.

Honestly, I've found Rightstuf to be really good.

If you wait for sales and scrounge around their bargain bin, you can easily find deals that beat other sites.

There actually is an "In English" button right on the front page.

But it does take Japanesey skills in order to find what you're looking for.

Last I bought from RightStuf, t-shirts could be bought there and HLJ also sells them. Those are two just from the top of my head; I'm sure many links people have provided in this thread will lead you to t-shirts. (In other words, if **after** exhausting the list you still can't find what you're looking for, then I think it's all right to post "where can I find ___" posts. This goes for everyone ne.)

I've been spending the better part of a year now searching for a certain Negima poster. It's of Nodoka and Konoka naked with Konoka coming up from behind Nodoka and covering her boobs. If anyone knows where i can get it please tell me. Money is no object with the poster. TY.

I took a look at akibablog for the first time in 6 months to see if there was any good cosplay pics on it. Instead, the front page was devoted to KnJ goodies.

When I saw the pictures, I was quite disgusted and I'm surprised it's actually legal to sell them...

(On another note, the Clannad stuff placed beside the KnJ stuff at the shops looked pretty).
