To be fair, at first there were pretty complaints about that kind of fanservice.

Currently, people (who still see K) like or accept this fanservice, so there is no longer complaints.

I have noticed that fanservice in anime is usually different for women and men. I mean fanservice for men is very much focused on the female body (often in ridiculous levels). In fanservice for women, it is often very little focus on the male body, but fanservice focuses more on the face and interactions of male characters.

This is true. Both types of fanservice often have the same effect.

However, people were surprised by Seri's fanservice because it was something extremly excessive (compared to the previous times).

I wonder if we will see from now that amount of fanservice of female characters (I don't like that).

We're not complaining about fanservice in general. We're complaining about the excessive fanservice in this episode (with Seri in particular). The bishi fanservice is tame in comparison, no matter how you look at it.

that is more like based on your point of view, in a japanese point i can say which was low :P, maybe for you and others was excessive but not for everyone, for me after years seeying japaneses releasing more and more dirty animes and mangas i really don't have that "excessive feelings", that was a pretty basic.

I just hope that this time the studio won't blew up their budgets on animating the skateboard scenes and ended up compromised the quality of the final battle.

K S1 final battle animation was rather bad...if I recalled correctly.

Well Anna had an important role also in the novel "K: Side Red" (very very good novel), but I think that yes, Neko had more importance than her in S1.

Remember the Kings can step down and give up the power to another before it becomes unstable. Mikoto was just to stubborn to do it last season.
