There's plenty of "cheat" series these days, where the hero is granted some sort of incredible ability that makes him completely OP. Often the hero is just made OP and left at that, but there's a lot where they're given some special ability instead. What I'm looking for here is people who were granted special abilities that are bizarre, unusual, and seemingly lacking in applicability, but which the hero still manages to turn into a proper "cheat" through innovative use.

Simplest example I can think of is Mixed Bathing in a Parallel Dimension. The hero's only special power is to summon a pocket dimension containing a standard Japanese bath (eventually upgrades thanks to divine blessings, but still just a bath). He comes up with a broad range of uses for this, inadvertently training his MP to absurd numbers due to overuse. One of the most obvious and direct battle applications is the fact that when he's inside with the door closed it becomes immobile and absolutely indestructible, providing an absolute fortress he can pull out whenever and wherever he wants (though the downside is he's cut off from the outside at the time and thus doesn't know if it's safe to come out).

Hajime Nagumo from Arifureta. Given a common synergist skill that many in the world have. Uses it to bring modern day weaponry to a medieval world.

Sounds like you're talking more about "dud" abilities.

Potion-danomi MC can make any sort of potion but more importantly any sort of container which they can use to make god tier weapons on occasion.

Yeah, you can also call them "duds". Just "duds" that the person in question is able to use in unexpected ways either to directly have huge impacts, or at the least to make it possible to increase his/her strength far more than normal.

And yeah Potion does work to some extent. I don't think I've gotten to the got-tier weaponry part, might need to catch up...
