More: Romance, Plot, Character

Hi, What anime is like Eureka where it's no all about killing but the anime has more of a focus on Romance, Plot, Character in it. An other example would be Noein. Please give me a list to check out, Thanks yall.

REC, Lamune, Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, Mahoraba: Heartful Days....
Honey & Clover and Haibane Renmei are both really good in really different ways.

it kind of depends on whether you want lots of humor or lots of angst.... I supplied a list with some of both: all have romance, plot, character .... Moon Phase gets a bit violent but it drives the romance.

Tsubasa chronicle - its currently ongoing (S2). However, S1 is licensed.
Nishi no Yoki Majo ~Astraea Testament - anime with midieval- fairy tale theme. its also currently ongoing.
I second with Saiunkoku monogatari - also ongoing anime with Oriental theme. Its based from award-winning novel. It has approximately 8 novels to be animated so expect more politics, romance and character development.

Eh. Go buy planetes (or PlanetES). Its old (2003 vintage) and licensed, but its very good and up-to-date. Romance isnt the driving force, but its present. Heavily focused on Character development. Plus a nice plot to wrap the cake. Above all, its a very realistic series.

Oh REC is nice too, but focuses almost wholly on romance.

I suggest Shingetsutan Tsukihime ... only that the plot MAY be wanting after twelve episodes ... it's about vampire archetypes and a relationship between a human and one. There's action, too, but it isn't the main focus of the series.

I love romance animes. So far Ive seen:
Chobits
DearS
Love Hina & Love Hina Again
Ah My Goddess (& season 2 ongoing)
School Rumble (& season 2 ongoing)***
Honey & Clover***
Peach Girl
Shuffle
Onegai Teacher
Onegai Twins
Okusama Wa Joshikousei (not great)
Ichigo 100% (& OVAs)
Hana Yori Dango (really good)
Karin (ongoing)
note: Avoid Koi Kaze. Do Not watch.

*** these arent 100% romance animes in my opinion, but have quite a bit of romance in the story.

Im looking for more pure romance anime to watch so keep the suggestions coming. Im going to watch Haibane Renamei and Kashimashi next.

Haibane isn't romance, but it's one of my favorite anime. Kashimashi was okay, just keep in mind, it's all lesbian. lol

Romance anime you might try...
Hand Maid May - especially if you liked Chobits
Emma - abrupt ending... but an interesting anime. I think they ran out of money or something
Nana - more umm... mature than most anime I guess. currently ongoing
Maison Ikkoku - good story and everything... a bit long, i sort of cheated and skipped 60 episodes or so ...I'm really no good with having to wait for the couple to get together
Rec - nice short anime
Kare Kano - everyone has to see this one

Haibane was definately not a romance, but it wasnt too bad. Kashimashi is decent so far. Im going to try Nana a bit later when there are more episodes. I may also try Kare Kano. Some of the other ones are either too old or dont appeal to me. Im suprised hana yori dango appealed to me despite being 9yrs old.

LOL, if you think Full moon rawr is so good then tell me why.

Anyway thanks for the replys, but I was anime that the couple actualy got together. Also I prefer a good plot with romance that all fighting. But I like how Eureka seven mix both the action and the romance. Please give me some suggestions. thanks

Kanon - Good plot, no violence (apart from the occasional certain girl hitting Yuuichi), has a proper ending and is not licenced. Fairly short though (13 episodes if I remember correctly), though a longer remake is being released in autumn (otherwise known as fall, in some parts of the world).

Definitely check out Air! It has romantic elements, and is filled with wonderful characters and has an amazing storyline.

Misuzu is pretty much as cute as it gets!

Like everything about it? The characters, the plot, the romance? Especially the romance. The love story displayed here is amazing. We're talking love so deep and true that it's "I will literally die for you" kind of love. This series can make adults bawl like babies.

Add a star if you like music or cute things.^_^

Ah the full title is Full Moon Wo Sagashite. There's no "rawr" XD I said "rawr" because no one suggested my favorite romance series.

Revolutionary Girl Utena: It's a bit subtle, but the romance is there...shoujo-ai.
Gravitation: Pretty much ALL romance, from what I've heard...shounen-ai.
If you're looking for an anime with plot...then nothing beats Spirited Away...

I would say anyone looking for romance would be infinitely disappointed with Utena.
