So according to the Backstage comments, it looks like we get Ayumu's birthday this week. I think he's saying that this may seem trivial but it's leading somewhere, but I'm not quite sure. (Leading to Ayumu moving in, maybe?)

Timing makes sense. Her birthday is May 15th, after all. After her, the next closest known birthdays are Saki's on June 17th and Izumi's on June 21st. Definitely looking forward to the latter.

If I remember correctly, the flashforward with Nagi screaming from the top of that building was set on June 12, so we'll get that before any more birthdays arcs, unless someone new shows up.

Man, I'd really like an Ayumu arc, even a short one. Ayumu's moments never fail to deliver.

Anyway, the chapter was fun, I guess.

I haven't read it yet, but I have to agree that Ayumu is almost criminally underused. I really hope she's given an important role in the story going forward, because there's enough characters now to risk crowding her out.

Although I realized a few days ago that Wataru has been even more neglected lately. I mean, he basically sat out the entire Golden Week Arc, and hasn't appeared since except his cameo a couple weeks ago.

I have a question, just whose birthday is it really on the title (October 19th)? Is it Hata's birthday? Because it really strikes me on a deep personal level...that is to say, I have the same birthday. No, seriously, I was born on the exact same date. If that's true, then I share my birthday with Hata-sensei...kinda cool, I guess.

If there is one character in this show, who continuously deserves so much more than she is given, it's hamster. It's pretty cruel to set things up like this, because I feel she'll get pretty desperate before things are eventually resolved properly. Ah well. She deserves lots of love and hugs. Hata, you better make sure she gets them!

Painfully funny chapter. I also loved Chiharu pouncing on Nagi's shyness and not letting her get away with it.

I really like Chiharu addition, she fits in as the big Sister character for Nagi. Which i thought Maria was going to be but Maria seems to be drifting more toward the Mommy role then the big sister role.
