I wish they'd keep the long twintail for Minatsu like the version in the manga.

After reading the first Manga chapter I may give this a chance. The protagonist is one of those straight forward types, Although it may just be a cover for something later on.
A very nice first chapter, it held instant closure as well. the comedy is very slapstick though, and I haven't seen one so straight forward while being capable... maybe ever.
Depends on how they handle the Drama factor, is how good it'll be. (if there is any drama that is)

Wow, the revies's that bad? lol. I also don't really like the novel myself, but I will still give the novel a decent rating at least. I guess the reviewer really thinks the joke's dry ^^.

IMO the review is bad, not the novel...

the first manga chapter entertain me well and i didnt find it presents such a lame joke... so yeah, the tricks work on me ;3

Feel free to explain what in particular makes the review bad, so I can improve and please you better next time. Difference of opinion doesn't count, especially if you haven't read the novel.

From a combination of sources and randomly looking at kanji for a few minutes, I have determined what our OP and ED are.

The OP is "Treasure", and the ED is "Mousou☆Fetish!", both sung by the four leading girls of the show. Considering this is their first major role for pretty much all of them, it shall be seen how that goes.

Good start. Hilarious in places. I liked the character design and animation. No-name seiyuus (except for Kondou Takashi, who was Ralph in Strain, Train in Black Cat, and Ariabart in Tytania) and all do very well. Another demonstration that, much as I worship seiyuus, the director and writer are the most important: Satou Takuya (Ichigo Mashimaro) and Hanada Jukki (Rozen Maiden, sola, etc.)

Spoiler for ep1:

Maybe we have a little winner here. Funny, charming, heartful, moe, and a bit sexy. We'll find out more next week. And before that, with a sub.

Opening animation by Satou Takuya, ending animation by Nishimura Junji, director of Simoun and true tears. Some "assistance" from Ryukishi 07 and 07th Expansion (creators of Higurashi).

EDIT: Lol. I see serenade_beta's post. Once again, we all have our own opinions.
