Warcraft Movie

And what importance does this Bolvar Fordragon have from WoW?

Captain of the King's Guard in Stormwind, and as the primary guardian of the child king, he is the de facto ruler of the most powerful human nation in the alliance. In fact, in the game, horde players wanting to take down the human faction leader have to go for him, not the king.

I would've thought Arthas' tale would have made a good movie, but I guess the classic orc vs human scenario wins out in the end.

Any story past TFT is garbage. Sadly, if you're going to see this movie, turn off your mind. It's probably going to be another 300-type. Mindless slaughter everywhere.

Ah, the voice of bitterness.

I, for one, wouldn't want to see a movie about Arthas, if only because we've seen it. Why make a movie out of the plot of Warcraft III when they have spent so much time and money building up this entire world of stories? Besides, if they set it in the current WoW universe, it can be tied into a current, money-making product, rather than irrepairably connected to one that is, for all intents and purposes, dead.

i would like to see a "what happens after arthus becomes the lich king" story

and if this brings in the $$$ whats stopping them from making this into a trilogy?

I don't think the story will be that good either, to be honest. It will presumably have to be something that's easy to understand for the general audience, hence nothing that'd require game knowledge and such. It might still be good though, after all, I did enjoy 300.

I dont know if you know or not , but there will be a Lich king expansion for WOW which will be the story about Lich king.

P.S. I wish the same thing as you, but most likely they wont do that

I don't think it will be that good, I mean, I play Warcraft III and WoW all the time, but honestly Warcraft as a movie....it doesn't seem that good...it's better a game then a movie...it will really only be endless Slaughter of Alliance and Horde...So I don't think it will be worth it....ANd if they don't have any of the famous characters and stuffs from Warcraft III like the Linch King, and the Death Nights....then it's not worth it...The Death Nights are awomes
