And rambling? Not at all. Or, rather, if that was rambling it certainly didn't bother me. I like how you phrased the underlined portion. Well, I've finished "The Green Child" (and subsequently discovered a Plant Girl fetish), and am about to break open "No Longer Human"- as well as the aforementioned bottle of Jäger. Which means, sadly, that all articulate comments will end here. I'll leave the both of you with a piece of advice: Used book stores as well as antique store's can be literary treasure troves for those with a sharp eye. |

Oh my, if I claimed to be both we'd have an intriguing case of gender confusion. However, when it comes to literary companionship, that wouldn't even matter.

For those living in the UK, you can try this website:
http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webap...051&langId=100 It's seriously dirt cheap, especially when you buy in bulk. It's even cheaper than Oxfam!

Just bought the Humble Music Bundle.
I impulse bought it when I saw it had a Jonathan Coulton Greatest Hits and a Best Of the Valkyria Chronicles OST but on closer inspection the Christopher Tin album is pretty neat as well (and it even has a song with Lia which caught me completely off-guard)

found this in a Habitat For Humanity store for $10. not much info about it when i googled the model except it was the last true 2 channel ES receiver sony produced and costed about $1000 in 1990. this thing is about the same age as me! and it still works after some 20 years. talk about vintage audio gear!

Yeah, the fact that it's a lower costing 8-bit and covered by a 3 yr warranty by Asus (who make quality products), it's basically the best thing anyone can get without shelling out some ridiculous amount. The only risk in getting it was that it's a newer model so user reviews are only just coming out, which of course are all positive so far. The only issue was the backlight bleed which actually gets significantly subdued after a week of use. It's crazy not to get this 1200p for $340!
The keyboard is also pretty sweet. Just had to use something extra to prop up the back since I'm used to such elevation and the included hinges were useless.

Bought a couple of old films on cheap here :-
Didn't get Heat on blu because I heard the HD transfer wasn't that good. But might consider upgrading if I happen to like the movie enough after 1 or 2 viewings. Kudos to those who manage to see the somewhat loose links between all 3 films. |
