Okay, I'm not going to lie.... I expected a lot more from this episode.

-Kissshot was supposed to look like a rotting corpse yet she looks completely fine
-The headpat was supposed to be way more emotional yet it seem so.....whatever

This arc would have benefited if they had one more episode.

LMAO at Oshino's scene. Do any of you guys who are not reading the novel find that too fast and complex or just fine? I guess we'll find out once the subs get finished. I've got to credit Sakurai-san for being such a good VA for meme. And Maaya for that fucking scream.

Yeah, as I said before, I'd expect to get a recap between every arc going forward, since they're the substitute for the arc that got pushed to 2014. We already knew after the first recap that there'd be more than one.

I feared so since I saw that pic of her which was flashed during the first episode. Her skin was supposed to be rotting, but I guess such figure would not sell.

This arc would have benefited if they had one more episode.

Even Tsubasa Tiger could have been better with five episodes. Five episodes are probably the minimum to not cut out anything that could be relatively important in terms of character development, but for anime viewers probably four episodes are better in flow and pace.

It's a complete hit on the head of the viewers. (no pun intended)

She was stuck in a permanent headtilt! Guess that counts.

The pacing really isn't off, it's just like every arc, something's cut but that's just how it's going to work, it's a different medium, it doesn't feel like anything too important is amiss.
In fact, these finales have been criminally feeling-inducing and I guess that's really the best they can hope for.

What I said is that emotion was powerful enough, I didn't specify which it was because screw putting emotions into words.

this was a pretty big disappointment for me. i wanted it to be longer, for one, and to include more. too rushed and choppy imo. only good thing was kissshot.

Some of the bgm sounded really forced and didn't really fit the monogatari vibe. Kinda threw me off a bit.

Grown up Hachikuji is the kinda lady I like. Mmmhmmm...

And so that's Kisshot's voice huh. They won't change it for Kizu will they?

And when/where did shaft say that quote? Are they saying they'll do their usual and do some major cosmetic work on the bd? If they can add a few mins or touch up the awkward bits that'd be lush.

So 2 weeks from now should be Otori right?

Most of the episode screams for major cosmetic work. No one from Shaft actually said "We're gonna do our best job for BD" It's just that... well it's Shaft. While other studios also spent some time polishing things for DB release - Shaft almost uses this as a trade mark

I expected SOOOO much from Kabuki seeing it is what I consider the one novel that is in the same league as Kizu. But the thing that we got was just......argh...

Just saw it. It was like watching a movie with the fast forward, although that was inevitable. Kind of funny how they made Oshino talk so fast Great voice acting by Maaya, and even the music surprised me.

True, Araragi has still way to go compared to Kyoro-kun's brushing powers

It may be because I purposely avoid to reread the novels after the experience with Nise, but overall I think this episode was very good.
