I've been trying to find out the name of this anime for ages... Whooo, a lot of hot guys with swords, set in one of my favourite time periods, plus my favourite seiyu, Miki-san. I'm adding this to my watchlist, whether it turns out good or not

Gah! I've been hoping for this game to be made anime and now it's about to start! I won't be able to think straight for the next little while with all these anime-filled bishies debuting. WHOO!!

Yup! It's AWESOME (well, to me, at least)!!!!
I kinda have to wait for the sub one before I actually know what's really going on...but still...it's AWESOME!!! I love the OP and ED songs. I'm really surprised that Studio Deen did a very good job in the first episode (and it seems like they are going to keep it that way in episode 2). P.S. The whole time, when I was watching it, 'Hot, Hot, Hot, Hot' is all I could hear in my head LOL |

I just finished watching it myself. No mayonaise or gorillas to be found amongst this Shinsengumi. With the exception of the opening minutes, the epi was fairly quiet.
Enjoyed the BGM and atmosphere. Thank goodness there weren't any sparklies going around ... just snowflakes. As a big bonus - the heroine is very likeable ... hooray. (need more Saito) |

I thought this particular bit was extremely hilarious and I really don't know how you can mistake such a girl for a male kid.

maybe it has to do with her appearance...not wearing a kimono... and she sure looks like a very young and gentle-looking guy...but her voice is definitely that of a young girl...
still i think they're not just good for nothing bishies...am also anticipating the way they will fight the enemies... i wonder if there are real life samurais from earlier eras that are also good looking...nah, maybe in my dreams...joke...hehehe... looking forward to this series hope the story will progress really good... |

I never played the game and had stumbled on this anime by accident. It just happened that main heroine is voiced by Kuwashima Houko, who had voiced the biggestpart of my favourite characters
But male character designs had won me over immediately! Saw the episode just now, animetion graphics are great! Since I don't speak japanese, I can't understand what is going on so it seemed a bit boring since it was mostly talking. But with subs I'm sure it'll be better^^ And after all talking is done, I excpect good action! Atleast OP does have me interested in upcoming things And yay! It is the first anime that I will be starting with everyone from episode 1

The story is boring and i found the world setting stale Overall this is made mostly to please the female audience. Not going to bother more with this anime

Enjoyed it. This first episode was definitely the "good" Studio DEEN. I loved the setting. It didn't seem stale at all to me, but artistic and atmospheric. Loved to see Kyoto: the Yasaka pagoda, Higashiyama in the background, etc. I thought the winter scenes were particularly atmospheric.
Spoiler for ep1:
