Awesome chapter. Is Calamity 'immortal' because he can always reform himself after blowing himself up or is this ability common to all of the 9 demon gates?

I don't think its like PL at all it reminds me more of OS where in this case they attacked the old guys restaurant instead of the base. pretty soon FT will meet Tartaros and invidual battles will come next and what likely will happen is there will be a way for the masters to communicate.

Kind of low considering she's been basically rejecting every chance she's gotten thus far for redemption, and willfully pushing deeper into "evil person" territory. Now she's being turned into a demon, and even in a seemingly unconscious state, reacts with rage when she hears the name Fairy Tail. That's not a good sign for her being turned into a demon possibly against her will to have a change of heart.

Yes. But intentionally so.... as long as the reader is aware that this is not a literal or very accurate translation, no harm done.

The problem is that a lot of people don't realize that their translation is inaccurate and embellished. Thus we get things like them taking the in series hype for the Nakagami armor and cranking it up to eleven, and people start complaining about the armor based on things that weren't in the original Japanese. Or the mistranslation translation that had people thinking that Azuma off screened Erza's two best armors when Erza was thinking that they were still broken and not an option.

This, being somewhat liberal with translation is okay, but not when it messes with the plot. In the case of the line in question, I don't think it messes with the plot at all.(Though I agree, likely it's being very liberal. Can't see a Japanese author writing like that)

But yeah, that line would run so well off Natsu's tongue. Take no Prisoners!

Remember when Atlas Flame said, "I mistook [Silver] for something else" and then explained how Silver mistook him for a demon? Yep, mistranslation. Maybe that does make Silver seem more badass if we had the idea that a dragon underestimated him, but...

And remember when everyone thought Yajima's name was Shitou Yajima? Epic mistranslation (someone translated "Yajima" as "Shitou" and everyone thought that was his full name).
