How come i have missed a such good Gundam serie yet... when i first read the review i thought it was a "kids"-serie, but wtf it is SOO good, the Characters are fantastic, been a long time since i seen a such good cast in a gundam serie.

Mao is my favorite, and then Sei and Reiji. Not to mention the Gundam fights are amazing!

So next Ep the "Dad" comes home...

Don't worry, you're not the only one that made that mistake (I didn't realize myself until the series was in ep6). The important think is now we know better

A lot of people thought that this was a kid's anime because of no war or killing settings, but this series is epic because you get to see various mobile suits from nearly all the Gundam series including OVA/MSV/Manga/Game-only Mobile suits animated, even if they get defeated in a single shot, also the fact a lot of the original mobile suits become customized and become original on their own in terms of concept, technology and specs, that the anime is very interesting.

However two things I currently don't like about this anime is the Baseball and the fact "the fighting" that Reiji does to pwn people in their face aren't shown

I wanna see Reiji actually fighting...

If anything, GBF is praised because they embrace ALL gundam mythos, even to the most obscure ones like G-savior.

Wish they would have done "protect your flagship getting destroyed while you destroy your opponent's team's ship". That might have been interesting somewhat.

Hell throw in classic games like Capture the Flag and King of the Hill, that would be freaking epic for a gunpla battle

That may have been more epic for a Gunpla Battle.

The throw the most balls in the basket, baseball (well it was only for SB Strike but...), and sniping was kind of bad...

At least they skipped those two parts fast other than baseball.

I actually get the impression that due to 5 of the 8 periods being marked as "secrets" instead of being fixed events, that they change up the type of events they do for the qualifiers every year. They did mention stuff like "endurance" events in Kirara's explanation, so they may have held something like capture the flag or horde mode-type events in previous tournaments.

I keep rewatching this episode but the battle is way too epic out of the entire series next to Episode 6
