Looks like no Sakichoke at the semis this year.

So Shana over Hisa doesn't count, huh? Got it.

I wouldn't consider that a choke, if it happens. Shana may well be "legit stronger" than Hisa.

Priority now for the Saki Party: Squash all remaining resistance.

It was more of Saki finally reaching the finals but as what Triple_R has already mentioned, she might just be stronger than Hisa (since Hisa is the weakest Saki link atm).

Did people really believe Louise to have a chance? Oh well, hope dies last.

By the way, Saki's birthday is October 27.

Saki vs Nodoka are currently neck to neck, of course assume that there's no fake vote.

It seems like if it's Saki v Saki the votes are gonna be low.

Well, so much for Louise trolling. Toki was leading the entire time. It was a classic fake vote reversal, folks. And that massive last hour rush for Toki hammered in the last nail for Louise's abysmal chances. Toki yet again proves why she is considered the Saki faction's finest and repeatedly touted as the one to win it all.

This leaves Shana as the last girl standing against the tide of an impending Sakimoe. Anyone who is against the Saki faction and has not surrendered yet should be rallying around her banner now. With the exception of those who hate Shana and/or the Rie Kugimiya faction, of course.

No picks for today's match. Though it would be interesting to see if Nodoka could reach the path to glory that the trailblazing Mami marked last year. This is also highly reminiscent of last year's Sayaka vs Madoka with two best friends (and yuri partners according to Triple_R ) going at it. As an intra faction match, very low vote totals are expected - just as it was with Sayaka vs Madoka last year.

The situation is so similar, in fact, that maybe it calls for this recolored pic that I used for one of my special PPPL ends.

And hey, I'm only respecting Sayaka's very clearly stated wife preferences.

Yeah, there's definitely some interesting parallels between this Saimoe and last year's.

That's quite the appropriate picture for this match. Would be nice if today's fight was also a close one like its spiritual predecessor last year. There's probably nothing worse than a match with low vote totals and a curbstomp result. Saki seems like she's leading early, but with fakes, we can never really tell for sure.

Well, you do have a point there, but I believe canon also has a tendency to support my side of the equation.

With Saki vs. Nodoka, I would think the fanbase would go for a tie.

That would require some incredible coordination from the Saki faction. And a bit of luck to try balancing the votes because fakes obscure the real totals. That's probably another (unintended?) function of fakes - makes it harder, if not impossible to precisely control the vote totals for any given candidate.

It's probably unlikely the Saki faction has what it takes to engineer a tie, but if they can - that would be scary.

Interest in this match is exceptionally low as expected. I'm seeing several places where the tracker went horizontal in the graph. 12 hours in and neither candidate has still broken 100, or even 70 votes for that matter. Perhaps some of the voters will return in time for Shana vs Hisa.
