I guess not having the queen around for a while helped people to make up their minds and sign. Knew Otohime would die, but i still shed tears. That was very strong of the brothers to calm Shirahoshi down in that situation. So that's how Vander Decken touched Shirahoshi.
Still don't get why she refused treatment? Also i hope we find out who shot her later. I doubt it would be Vander Decken. I'm guessing the one that shot her also started the fire. I'm also thinking it wouldn't be a fish-man, but you never know.

I still wonder why 90% of the regular and navy people still listens to those "Tenryuubito"
I think by now... they would realize how awful they are... It feels like I am watching how "Dictators" are ran... reminds me of "certain" countries... But in One Piece... they have many many Dictators.... ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ And yes, I think Otohime needs to think more before she acts... she's too desperate. So desperate, she would throw her life away for people that killed/enslaved hundred if not thousands of her own people... Otohime to me... feels kinda like the Presidents or other Political/ Governors... where they all "promise" things, but none usually gets done and at times just makes it worse... LOL If I was a Tenryuubito and thinks like them, I would sooo have turn Otohime into a personal slave... just think, the most important person of an entire Race... being a personal play thing where you can do anything you want to her without haven't any objections because you have absolute power over the entire world... |

Forcing a smile when you really want to cry is one of the hardest things to do. I felt so sad for princes and princess. I'm going to bet with high certainty that it was Vander Decken. He had a gun on his back belt, and it left Shirahoshi alone just enough for him to conveniently tag her. He would not have had the chance normally.
So not only is he a child predator, but he also is the murderer of said child's mom. I hope his death comes sooner than later, and real death, not just ordinary imprisonment. Back to Otohime, she was once again reckless. You can always ask for more signatures, or to get them again. They were so overwhelming in signing them that it would not be too hard to get them again. Of course, she chose to put herself in harms way again, and this time, paid the ultimate price. Also, since they did not show how she got the Celestial Dragons to approve, I am very unconvinced and weary of the whole event. Also, when the showed the shadow of the person that is supposed to guide Shirahoshi to change the world, it looked to me like Shanks with the straw hat, but then again, my bet is on Luffy.

Everyone was worried about queen Otohime and with a good reason too.
It was amazing how she succeeded at least partially with her cause. She really was a great queen. Shirahoshi really is special with her ability to talk to Sea Kings. Guess her mom had to pay with her life for being so kind and good.. It was really sad.

Now if you are hinting who else has motivation to do so, there is a long line. You can start with Hody, then Arlong, then Celestial Dragons, then World Government, and even Aladdin. Anyone of the fishmen who hates humans have a reason to kill Otohime, who is trying to promote togetherness with humans. Celestial Dragons want their slaves back. World Government does not wantly "lowly" fishmen to join their ranks.

wow... Otohime's death actually done perfectly... I always love One Piece anime adaptation...
yeah... I don't really love the flashback because it's taking time too long but this one is obviously one of the most important and touching death scene now, finally next week we can see Strawhat in action... xD (or need to wait for another week I think?) Hody killed the suspected murderer on accusations that he was human and had a gun. Since the guy is dead, you really can't question him if he truly killed her. Of course this is a setup that the no-name human is being used as a scapegoat. Hody has done everything to further his agenda, and he does not care about hurting other Fishmen.
I thought Sanji was a bit overboard this episode. He has never wished anyone to kill themselves. Is that a filler? Since it seems so out of place. Well, now it's time for Luffy and crew to take action and destroy Fishman Island.

Nope, it was in the manga. Then again his rational is "If this guy hadn't released Arlong, my Nakama's life wouldn't have been shit" so I kind of understand how Sanji would react like that. Unlike Chopper, Franky, Robin and Brook, the east blue members, Luffy, Sanji, Zoro and Ussop witnessed first hand how horrible Nami's life was with Arlong.

yeah... so far I love how anime pictured every touching moments in One Piece
although they extended this arc little too long but somehow I can enjoy it and wait patiently Neptune's sadness... Fukaboshi's speech... and Jimbei's apology.... everything is so perfect... including how Franky ruins the moment... lol |

Everyone was horrified that a human was the culprit.
No wonder their attitude towards humans was bad after that incident. I really felt sorry for the king, queen's death devastated them all. So Jinbei finally finished his story... at least that gave Luffy's crew a new perspective on things.

And for that, I'm so glad. We have passed what we needed to know, as far as background information on Fishman Island. Now it is time to finally move on and take care of business.

But in the end I'm with Luffy about sleeping through this flashback. It was important information and fleshed out the pasts of Jinbei and the island, but damn that was lengthy. They needed the reminder so we had a clue what was going on in the present .
