Because people were expecting Strawhats to get together and go out adventuring again, and not this crap that takes 10 episodes with Chopper and Luffy being more stupid than ever? Chopper annoyed me so much I just wanted to punch the monitor to shut him up.

considering that I'm not a big fan of the next arc from the manga I'm okay with it taking some time

+ like I said, srsly like the fakehats

besides, there's more ep's not because they stretch it out (not like the mind-numbing Marineford arc anyway), but adding some scenes here & there

So happy, finally Luffy meets some of his nakama! Lol the Pacifistas made him loose the disguise, but it was worth it to see a little bit of his new strength.

Oh, when I read the manga for this scene, I was under the impression that Luffy only underwent Gear Second in his arm....Guess not?

I had great joy when Sentoumaru smashed Fake-Luffy and declared that Luffy is not that pathetic. It was equally as entertaining when the Fake-Hats found out that their prisoner was the real Luffy.

Also, the difference in power between the Straw-Hats versus anyone else there was just like a god versus an ant. It was so one-sided, it wasn't even funny. I wonder why the Marines did not send anyone else more powerful to handle the Straw-Hats?

Edit Additional Comments:

This battle is more a compare and contrast from the battle 2 years ago. There was 2 Pacifista and Sentoumaru. While during the first battle, they struggled heavily just to fend off the Pacifista. However, this time around, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji easily defeated them with 1 hit attacks, displaying how much they have improved.

Which brings me to something I thought about. Is Sanji stronger than Ivankov now? Ivankov had a little trouble before defeating a Pacifista, while Sanji did it with 1 kick.

Also, how are the rest of the Straw Hats crew? We know they are stronger, but could they all defeat a Pacifista one on one?

1st: I'm not sure if Sanji is or isn't stronger, but Ivankov didn't have issues defeating a Pacifista unit, he had issues defeating the fully cybernetic Bartholomew Kuma. They were once comrades, so s/he was conflicted in the fight. If it was a regular Pacifista unit, I'm sure Ivankov wouldn't have too much of a problem taking on one on his own.

2nd: I'm positive the other crew members could. We have yet to see their, let alone all the crew members, true potential.

Obviously because just one Pacifista was able to handle the Straw Hats the last time they crossed paths.

Oooooooooooooooooooo!!! I love the ending, it was so awesome, Luffy is so much stronger man, normally before he would have to bend over to do his "Second Gear" but he just needs to stick out his hand to get the power O_o.

Zoro and Sanji could beat the Pacifista so easily in a 1 on 1 fight =), but I'm pretty sure all of the Straw Hats could beat the Pacifista but the others would take a bit of time.

Well its hello Straws and goodbye Fake and off to New World!!!!!!!!!

Why does Zoro close his left eye or right, I dont know but he closes one of them, reason behind this?

I think Zoro does not close his eye. It looks like he lost it during training. Reminds me of Guts now from Berserk!

Is it true that the next arc is not nice?

Oh this episode was great. There is just something about Luffy showing off how strong he is with that big grin & laugh of his that I can't help but love. Luffy I find you so inspiring!

Plus I am glad Luffy got to reunite with the real Zoro & Sanji this time! I am glad all of their training these last two years has definitely paid off.

Hmmm... yet they were willing to send an army over. Yeah, there were a lot pirates, but at least a vice admiral would have helped. Although considering how strong Luffy and the crew are, most Vice Admirals will still be no match for them.

The main reason would probably be because no one heard of them for 2 years, the pacifistas and Sentomaru were sent to just check whether or not they were really back.

And also Straw-hats are not that important to marines, they're still considered as rookies.

It's something of the sort of "Marines of a higher rank shouldn't even bother themselves with rookies like Straw-hats"

Probably most of the powerful ones are stationed in the new world now since the thing is unbalanced cause of whitebeards death 2 years ago

I can agree with the first part, but I cannot agree with how they do not consider the Straw-Hats as important. They surely made it a big deal the way they were rounding up Marines to arrest them. One of the biggest goal at the end of the war was to arrest/kill Luffy, as he poses a very real threat in a symbolic way.

Anyway, this is all semantics. We'll just say no one more powerful was available to handle the Straw-Hats at such a short moment's notice, and what you mention, that they probably thought the current strength was sufficient.

Yeah, that is a very true possibility, as they could have their hands full right now with all the world chaos.

The only valid reason is that it was done for the plot's sake,it's too soon xd
