Welcome to the weekly manga chapter discussion thread. This thread is created early to discuss spoilers and speculation about the upcoming chapter as well as discussion of said chapter once it has been released.

As per the forums rules, please don't ask for or mention about where to download the (licensed) manga. Also remember not to post or link to any translations of the manga, since this is illegal as well. Posting a synopses or summary is fine (and welcome) but please do not discuss scans, raws, translation groups, etc. Additionally, if you are posting someone else's synopsis (or their translation of a synopsis), then please provide credit were credit is due.

Remember that the manga is licensed, do not post significant parts of the chapter. This stands for pictures and direct translations. Summaries are OK, crops of pictures are OK as well if you want to illustrate your point but this is it.

Decent Chapter. However, I do feel Naruto would be better off fighting alone...He is literally hindered by the entire ninja force of Konoha lol

no Hashirama and team... so sad....

but Madara's excitement is scary... and the last page is freaking crazy!

anyway, I'm agree that Naruto should fight alone
and when I see Kakashi got absorbed with Obito, I think another death flag has been set on Kakashi's head

^yea i agree. he did make too bold a change in terms of ability, but that aside, he's pretty badass. i wonder if he felt minato's chakra and brought himself and kakashi to go see him while madara goes to see his mancrush

Am I the only one that found the tranlastion kinda weird. At first I thought it was from panfa but then I noticed it wasn't :S. Madara totally has a hard on his face says it all. I'm still want want to know whats happening to the current hokages. If Obito becomes the Ten tails jinchuuriki how is he going to revive Madara?

Kidding aside, I like how it only took one more chapter to make the whole world go to Hell. That last image is damn good. Too bad the resurrected Kage are not here yet. But I guess it wouldn't be a proper Big Damn Heroes moment if our protagonist was uninjured.

That last panel lacked visual variation among the tornadoes, looked weird in a copy+paste kind of way even if it's not possible for that to literally happen, just ended up looking that way.

Also reminds me a lot of when Goku first turned Super Saiyan.

Now that I think about it, the Ten Tails' muscles even grew some before lightning storn, which makes it even more like that time.

Why the heck would you expect the Fanservice Zombie Kages and Sasuke to show up in one chapter after we saw them for three months? They are not showing up until plot needs them.

And Naruto fight alone? Kishi hit you over the head this chapter that he wants his friends with him. Fighting alone would make him a loner like Obito and Madara which Naruto himself pointed out. This is the exact opposite of the Pain fight. And ironically Naruto's chakra is now screwing up their jutsu which will free the Juubi.

How could Naruto fight alone when he was getting his arsed kicked even fighting with Kirabi, Kakashi, Kyuubi and Gai earlier? He is no match for an immortal Madara, Obito, and Juubi.

It's all lip service. Kishimoto's making up for the never really shown teamwork motif of Part I by adding a bunch of people to the current fight. Sadly, once the stakes actually matter again, it'll go back to being one-on-one (especially since Minato is bringing a present for Naruto).

That's just your interpretation... even if you are right, and Naruto was getting his ass kicked, one thing is certain, he will fare better by himself, without having to worry about his friends.

I had hoped Kishi would refrain from involving the relics in the ongoing war but, I guess after painting Madara as the GOD in this war(?) he probably ran out of ass-pulls for Naruto.

If it was becoming to difficult for Naruto to maintain all the chakra cloaks he had. Why didn't Kuruma take over? I imagine he wouldn't tire out so fast as Naruto.

It's even less than lip service at the moment, it's exactly the same situation than with Pain except that since Naruto likes to have an audience friends next to him he has to spend all his strength shielding them instead of taking the offensive or else they would be instantly killed.
The chakra cloaks aren't even theirs, it's still under Naruto's control. The ninja alliance is completely worthless.
