My reaction when I saw the Volks PVCs:

for the 3 Nanoha PVC figurines that is due to release next year. I have a question: do they come in as painted or do we have to paint them ourselves?

i'm pretty sure they are pre-assembled/pre-painted. I can't stand putting garage kits together.

I've heard people say that Hayate's face was off.

Is the Volks' line of PVCs going to be online exclusive? I'm finding many blogs say that it is exclusive to japan or something.

Don't worryThey are PVC塗装済完成品フィギュア(PVC painted and assembled figure).

Btw,this Vivio is not for sale but a privilege for buyers of all of 3 kinds.

Just to second what JINNSK said (and provid a link) when you actually go to the item page for one of the figurines (such as Nanoha) you see it says "PVC Painted Figure" down at the bottom. So it does seem to be pre-painted/assembled.

I don't know... this pic doesn't seem too off to me (it does seem just a little off for some reason, but not a ground/deal breaking amount). Of course then again I'm not terribly picky and know that you can only have so much detail on small models like that. I mean even the Alter Fate (which is widely considered one of the best models) doesn't have a lot of detail. So long as they don't royally screw up somehow I think it's pretty good personally.

Well, doing a quick search by company on HLJ I did find a few Volks figurines, mostly kits, so obviously they do give some to companies who sell outside Japan. However, considering the small selection I found (which were all in-stock too, so maybe it was only showing in-stock items) that leaves these very much up in the air atm. However, considering the special bonus Vivio that JINNSK mentioned I'm guessing they are probably only selling them through their own website... which probably wont ship internationally.

we can still hope that they will be selling internationally. Just that we aren't 100% sure. HOPE! We will know by December 31st I'm guessing, since at ComiFES 75 is when we will have more details from Volks

I'm pretty sure that they will be sold to other companies, so we can be expecting this to be sold on HLJ pretty soon.

so...er...no news about Volks' PVC? Cuz if it really is exclusive to Japan only, then I guess I'll just have to pay tokyohunter to preorder it for me T-T.

The only info I can glean from the latest issue of Hobby Japan is the pricing and the months in which they will be released. Set for a retail price of 8379 yen (probably each) and Nanoha, Hayate and Fate to be released in May, June and July respectively. The Vivio figure is already mentioned in earlier posts.

Has anyone sent an email to say, Hobby Link Japan, to check if they are stocking up on these? IIRC, you can ask them if they will be bringing these products. Have to wait til next week though, when they are back from their New Year's holiday.

The items are only available through Volks online shop and retail store. We do not carry items that are exclusive to any store, website, magazine, or convention.
