i would say he's not that far from rolo..

Still, it's much harder to hate the main character than say... Suzaku. Lelouch gets so much screen time, it's hard not to identify with him while Suzaku get's crap air time and as time goes by, he gets even less lines than before. I wouldn't be surprised if they just permanently silence Suzaku by saying he lost his ability to speak due to the trauma of his painful experience.

Rollo killed Shirely because of jealousy. That's not even remotely justifiable, as there was no rhyme or reason. Trying to compare him to Lulu is pushing it.

It is not the killing that is the problem; it is why you are doing it.

rolos death was too predictable that it's not even sad. Everyone was speculating that he would strain his heart spamming his gueass.

I was not "exactly" correct, as the Jealousy was aimed at Nunnally.
Rolo didn't kill Shirely out of love, he killed her out of anger. Shirely brought up Nunnally, which got Rollo angry. There was no reason to kill her except that Rollo wanted to.

What I'm truly surprised is that Xingke outlived Rolo. The way they made it seem, I thought Xingke didn't have much time to live. It's like that kid who accused Michael Jackson of molestation. Wasn't that kid suppose to die in few weeks?

Xingke don't have enough screentime so no time for him to die yet. He have not fulfill his purpose either. Is Gino also a character with another huge death flag?

honestly this episode had the greatest start with lulu telling the black knights to search for nunnaly.

Shirely has no intention of taking Lulu away from him. Thus killing Shirely is an act of senseless violence done for Rollo's enjoyment.

actually the whole episode with the cupid hats was to bring lelouch and shirley together and rolo witnessed it so..
there's also the part with shirley holding a gun which wouldn't trigger happy thoughts in a killer machine's mind

Besides Rolo loves Lelouch, if they (Lelouch and Shirley) are together, and with Nunnally back, he will have no place in Lelouch's heart. Since Lelouch is the only important person to him, naturally Rolo will not want to lose him to anybody.

As I kept saying, Rollo don't mind Shirely being in love with Lulu. He only got angry when Nunnally's name was brought up, and then he killed her in a fit of rage because Nunnally isn't available at the time and Shirely was the closest human body he can murder.

Shirely was killed because she mentioned Nunnally's name. That's the only crime. And Rollo killed her for it. That's not love.

Rolo is like a little kid. You know how if you are the only kid in the family and your parents tell you that they are expecting? According to child psychology, it isn't uncommon for the kid to feel threatened and insecure. Rolo just acted like what most little kids do. Only unlike other kids, Rolo happens to have mutant power and had oppressive and cruel experiments done to make him emotionally stunted.

But still, I loved Shirley too much to forget her death.
