Uhh... Kanon is a pretty strange character. In one game he's just "KILL BEATRICE", and in others is as sensitive as a tulip. In other words, I vote for a split personality, or he's just mental.

It's called character development. Kanon and Shannon seem to remember past gameboards in the magic scenes.

Almaz text has failed me. Character development? Yes, I've noticed. Every game, I notice the Kanon gets closer to Jessica.

Therefore, Kanon isn't furniture. Kinzo just made them think that way so he could feel Beatrice was still with him.

Since it wasn't written in katakana, and normally people don't have Kanji+Western names like Ushiromiya members. Didn't Jessica say that it's not weird like her own name? They did this for their part of the love trial. And I personally love the name Joshua, and it fits great for him imo. Yoshiya is alright, not bad, but Joshua is alot better imo. So in a way this is to make up for the fact that she WAS NOT a detective in 6 though she did violate a Knox Rule because she was not in the first game. We only saw Kanon do some magic to kill people and that is the witch's side explanation not necessarily what actually happened.
