Episode 5, I know that Keisuke is a puppy dog when it comes to Akira, but I did feel sorry for him when he got yelled. Looking forward to see Keisuke go crazy.

Last week's dose of guro in Shiki was enough, I could have done without more this Thursday too...

As expected, Kurosuke time. I was getting more and more disappointed as the minutes went by without the Akira/Keisuke meeting (especially when you get a stupid long flashback right after the OP), but it did thankfully end up happening at the end. I laughed at the "omochikaeri" comment on the stream, stole it from my mouth.

Putting aside the fact that I laughed when Takeru licked Akira (it wouldn't be fun if they didn't lick his blood after beating him up! though it did make for a good BL moment), then when Akira thought "hey, it was the same the other time! could it be... my blood?!" (actually, I refuse to even comment on this), the Kurosuke fun was fun enough to make for a pretty decent episode. Also, Yukariiiii!

Now to find out how far they're willing to go in the next episode, huh? The preview isn't quite as revealing as I'd like it to be...

Spoiler for my take on ep 6:

so in the beginning someone kills everyone at the club in the neutral zone, looked like Keisuke, Takeru gives in and uses the Line drug, so while AKira is looking for Keisuke gets beaten up by Takeru, but then he likcks his blood and gets messed up like the last guy, Rin and Motomi suspect something is wrong in Toshima, ever since AKira and Keisuke showed up, Keisuke ends up killing Takeru and knocking out Akira, so i still don't like Kesiuke he seems to be on Line and has gone psycho, next ep answers some questions

And..I wanted a lot more out of the episode, I don't know what but I did. I wanted more Psycho Keisuke/Akira. Keisuke is entertaining

episode 5: Hot damn! Akira finally told Keisuke off!

That made up for not enough Shiki.

And no, I don't feel sorry for the idiot. "Congradulations for killing a guy." Boy, that was dumb. Totally not understanding Akira's situation at all or making an attempt to find out.

episode 6: Raving lunatic sucker punched Akira. Raving lunatic killed bar full of guys getting high and dying guy. Oh yeah, that was really brave Keisuke. So fragile, that all it took for the guy to loose it was Akira telling him off. He's a loser and a male yandere.

So something in Akira's blood is throwing those users of Line into a deadly withdrawal. Interesting...

I couldn't help but chuckle at the mass slaughter party because of the luminescent red blood. It felt more like some underground rave party with glowing paint and heads being smashed inXD.

Was I meant to care about Takeru from his little flashback/dream sequence? Cause it ended up feeling redundant. Akira's blood appears to be some bio-weapon huh? How lucky that everyone seems to enjoy sampling his blood. Better start filling darts with his blood, maybe even spike the water sources with it if he wants to live longer, cause I sure can't see Akira not having a day where his life isn't peril. Hell, RIN appears to be stronger than him, and now not only Shiki but Keisuke want to make him his bitch.

Next week, more Shiki, drugs and possibly s****dri***s?

He'll prob try to attack Shiki who makes short work of him. Really, Keisuke hasn't attacked anybody strong. He just picked on the weaker, strung out guys that the others ignored. And even killed a dying guy. He sucker punched a friend (his wingman and love interest) no less. I wonder if he took some Line.

He's a rabid yandere. And...Akira needs to develop more fighting skills.

The blood needs to be darker. Maybe the BD release will have a color correction.

Maybe he's made that way for the game. There seems to always be a controversial character for VNs. Keisuke is prob one of them.

I do enjoy seeing a despised character sink into the darker regions of hell and get destroyed. He needs a slow death.

oh my God .. Keisuke is a maniac, an awesomely maniac, i really enjoyed his dark side. He become a monster just bcuz he got yelled at by Akira, I wonder what he will do if he see Akira with other guy!!!

so find out why and how Kesiuke took Line, he beats up Akira and leaves, still think he's an idiot, but looks like he won't hang around Akira, Arbitro figures out that Akira has ablood that doesn't react with Line, something about Project Nicole, so sends him an invite from his dog, so that mystery drug dealer confronts Akira and gives him a package to give to Shiki, seems it's like the sam package that SHiki gave Arbitro before, Shikis called that guy "Fear", must be strong and crazy, so the peole that brought Akira to Toshima are looking for some "N" person, they also have a spy inside, next ep Akira visits Arbitro

Does he? He's probably the 2nd most loved character from the VN (discounting Gunji and Yukihito (PS2 version)). At least I know lots of people love him, just because he is the puppy dog character that really cares for Akira. And well, in this cast of characters who have hidden agendas here and there, some initially straight-forward character is quite a breath.

My own problem with him is exactly because he was too naive at the very least. I don't really hate how he cares for Akira since I am a shameless shipper--obviously it was a plus point for me His naivety sometimes make him looks as if he is stupid and too dependant on Akira. But I actually love him when he is being his yandere, LINE-induced (and conveniently dubbed) Kurosuke. I just don't like the resolution of his route anyway, taking into context what has happened in his route.

Where do I start? Right, the usual animation and quality check sucks goes here. I'm pretty convinced that Rin is a Teleporter from the way he keeps appearing on and off the screen like how he wasn't shown walking through the door but rather just poofing out of nowhere, kinda like how he disappeared offscreen before fully walking out of the frame in another episode.

Next, I can't believe Akira bothered listening to the orders of some mysterious dude whose mouth spews nothing but DEEP psychobable whenever it opens. The realization that he probably just stood there staring at the suitcase till Shiki arrived had me in stitches.

That's the quality that makes him "controversial". He's the male equivalent of a moe female in a romance harem title. Unfortunately, this is a fighting title where a bit more independence and backbone is needed.

I love Keisuke him being to the 'puppy', then to a 'yandere'.

Well, he did want to know who that guy was. The only way was to wait for the pick up person I guess.

I'm not complaining since it was another Shiki scene.
