I thought of that too, but Kirito with eyepatch?
For this final episode, it sure end with a bang from Shino's story and visual that goes with it. Also, I've never seen any mangaka as cruel with class seperation as Hara Yui. That was just being mean to both Alice and Aya. Hope for a second season sooner than latter. |

I liked the troll with super-early ED. Shino's story was a good way to finish this show, though. She should do more with that skill, as it was apparently good enough to impress their neighboring class as well.
Also liked the flashback to when Alice started making plans to move to Japan. I wish we could've seen more of that, as well as more focus on the language barrier, as I felt that issue was shoved aside too easily and that was what made me watch the show in the first place. Youko will probably remain forever unaware of Aya's feelings for her. At first, I imagined Shino having her hands full with Karen and be sad about not having Alice around, but it turned out that Alice was the one who felt left out and that Shino had no problems with Karen whatsoever. Still, this has been a very entertaining, not to mention heartwarming show at times. Nice to watch amidst the action-packed or dramatic shows. 9/10

Your answer is quite interesting, it was not what I was looking for, but technically you maybe right if only it wasn't specifically stated that it's a manga, not a LN, and main character with the eyepatch is a guy.
Actually, I should change my question to "What manga did Karen read before she left for school with her eyepatch and backscratcher?" However, this is assuming that what she read that morming inspired her chuunibyou, which maybe false. |

After a quick look my estimate is that 12 episodes consumed 2.5 manga volumes from the 3 published up to now; the last one was published 12/jul of the current year, so at the earliest I think a 2nd season would be in 2015.

That was a nice finale. It delivered what it intended to deliver. I'll remember the cuteness for a while. What's left the most impression are the girl's voices. The VAs did a good job being funny+cute I think. Time to look up some info.
