So if someone asked you what color Fate's belt is from the series, you couldn't tell them it was red? I don't know, I remember most characters eye color, and that is a detail that should be far harder to remember. It's not just 'cause I'm a fanboy. I thought it was a simple detail to remember.

Well, i know the color of Fate's belt but i lost recollection of that until the moment someone pointed out Fate's belt colour has changed xDU. So it was passive info hidden in my brain i guess.

It's just that the colour of the belt isn't relevant to... well, anything. It's a detail I don't need to take note of. With the eye colours, not only do I keep them in mind for fic writing, most of the art I see shows their faces and that's usually where I look first when seeing an image.

Back to the contents of the game, am I the only one to think that Touma and Lily are out of place? I mean, everyone else expect the two of them and the newly introduce sisters are related to one another while the guy's closest relation, which is Subaru is not even here. Makes the poor couple stands out like a sore thumb, not to remember the atmosphere the guy gives out in his Black Knight suit even if he is not evil. Wonder how the story is going to be connected.

As also the convenient plot device that will demote Tohma's Anti-Magic enough to allow the other characters powers to be effective on him xD

Or maybe the guy holds back. Wouldn't be surprise if he do so as he would rather kill himself than to give in to the virus anyway.

There won't be anything like that plot device. This will be a straight up case of Gameplay and Story Segregation so no matter how badly one pwns Touma in an actual match, the following story cutscene will have him standing there fresh as a daisy thanks to Eclipse healing factor and Anti-Magic Hax that let him shrug off anything.

Thoma just as connected to the rest of the characters through Subaru. Hell, the PV even has him go "Commander Hayate, is that you?"

Plus if you wanna pull that card, then Einhart doesn't belong either since Nove is absent.

It's possible consider how they spoiled "Black Knight" Touma in the PV before that fight even ended.

I can think of some excuses of how to nerf Touma as part of the story.

Since the Eclipse is a virus, becoming someone as capable as the Huckebein may take time, even for Touma. Sure, we know Touma is a Zero Driver, but we have no idea if he can even regenerate or has the same inherent resilience as members of the Huckebein, who seem to have been infected for some time now.

So they might not be nerfing him.
