The system was similar enough for them to try.

so i finally realized that the patch progress will probably stay at 98.01% forever. so the question is, should i use release candidate 1 or the antifail patch?

For those that have Noah, how does one get on a particular person's route anyway? I've surfed around but none of the guides I've seen are very specific as they only list what to answer for some set of five Yes/No questions. Did they add five new Yes/No questions into the game? I was assuming they'd just let you pick a route to start when you started the game but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Finally got around to playing this since I've had it sitting around since the flipping anime came out and got me interested enough to buy it...

As a linear novel type game I'd say it was a great experience. Unfortunately I'm a big fan of the choice element in VNs so in that regard I came away alittle let down. Felt abit vexing having Rimi shoved down my throat when all I really wanted was to get more Yua with Taku, not seeing her stuck with Ban.

Ah well still extremely well done bit of entertainment and sure did a good job of making me feel queasy on the B-Route when I thought I had long since been past the point that anything could make me feel the least bit squeamish.

Now time to go get a copy of Noah and see what things the additions brought to it.

Hmm, I've tried getting this to work a few times but I've always encountered some sort of error. The most recent problem was that I couldn't get it translated properly. Must be something to do with vista, but it screwed up somehow when installing. Eventually I just got frustrated and deleted the whole game.

If only I knew Japanese.

Here's the Japanese walkhrough. http://www.hgamecn.com/htmldata/guide/1414.html

It's pretty easy to read though. Since the decision are either green(绿) or red(红), or written in English. Ending A is the good ending, IIRC.

Yes. The developers were lazy/smart and used the same system they developed for 続・殺戮のジャンゴ and used ever since: N2System. The problems that arose with the Xbox360 system revisions and such included Xbox-specific code, window resolution, internal screen size (what the game thinks the resolution is and resizing accordingly), some new effects, and some dramatic revisions of system. Nobody heard about some of these problems because they were technically fixable. The last ones were just hard, especially the last one, to fix.

However, we have now have enough advances to justify this large thread bump.

The April TECH GIAN demo of 装甲悪鬼村正 is in 1024x577. That's a weird resolution, but Nagato, our Noah hacker, changed it already to 1280x720. After jumping some hurdles like cracking the new encryption key (as well as finding out that you could remove it completely) and finding out how to compress NPAs, we found out that the game has the features of Noah. Thanks, Nitroplus, for providing an executable we can copy code from!

As for the original game, I coded a user-friendly NSIS installer with some technical improvements: MKV OP/insert support, working softsubs, a couple of fixes, and simple Sumaga-like patch NPAs. It shall coincide with 4-6 more user friendly TLWiki releases in the next big publicity st-, err, project.

There will be no small screen support for Noah as of yet: you must have a minimum resolution of 1280x720. Sorry, netbooks and small screens, but that involves us completely rewriting the original script code. Maybe a downsize will happen as an afterthought.

By the way, we'll get a WINE-compatible executable up for C;H, but hopefully Noah afterwards. The movies won't work, though, for numerous reasons.

Just going to nitpick and correct some information here.

1024x576. A fucked up resolution indeed.

I handed off the resolution hacking to phiber again since it's a bit different than it was for Chaos;Head. The compiler made some optimizations in the math which threw me off. I haven't heard back from him for a day or two so I'm not entirely sure what the status on that is.

Wine compatibility is touchy. I've yet to test the new engine with it but the EXE is unpacked (like Sumaga, which worked fine from what I remember) so I think Noah will work. Chaos;Head had kinda bad support since it used a protected EXE which needed to be unprotected but then some other unexpected stuff came up with it.

Hi everyone! Is there a site or a thread where one can spoil herself all alternative endings? I'd like to find out more about them.
