Probably they'll make the second one with Hayate, the Knights and Elio-Caro.

Going to de-rail from the whole cover thing for a minute...

Why all the hate for the movic figures? They don't seem that bad to me, I mean yea there are a few things that could look better, but they don't look that bad in the pics. Are there higher resolution pics of some of their other things elsewhere that look like crap which people are basing that off of or what?

This is why automated translators still aren't quite ready for any sort of "prime time".

100$ for a figure are too much, unless it's one of those once a year special figure you just have to get before it gets out of stock. Or one of those big mecha ones that have huge price tags.

Most of my figures don't go beyond 30-40euro's of worth. Then, there's EMS that boosts the figures value by up to 2x.

Figures are painful...

that is why i save up my orders. shipping per item is much cheaper when you have 3 or more items in a order.

If I save my orders, customs will add up Although I think it wasn't that expensive.

Well the style (well price tag and such) is the same as from the other special ones at that big con thing... wonderfest or whatever. My guess is it is a resin kit, obviously painted in that case. I know my local comic shop has some imported painted resin statues and they want 120 for them, so it isn't hard to guess the price on those would be about the same. That plus I found a Rein resin kit on yahoo auctions which is the same as the wonderfest one, and someone else in this thread linked a Hayate which was the same as from the 06 WF I believe.

Although, Resin on a (seemingly) plastic base makes me wonder if it is resin.... but there appeared to be a Rein resin on a plastic base linked earlier in this thread also. Either that or i'm really bad at spotting pvc figures from resin... of course, they look kind of similar anyways so...

Anyways, i'm going to go try to dig up those links.

Edit: Found the links

Rein

Hayate

Rein seems to be the same seen here

Spoiler for Largeish Image:

and (ignoring the poor paint job, but since it isn't assembled...) the Hayate one seems to be the same as from the very first page of this thread with the 06 WF

The Rein I was thinking about for the plastic base is this one

slightly different then the WF resin kit though, and upon closer inspection I do that that Rein is a pvc not resin.

Edit2: So i've zoomed in on the figurine in question, and it's still hard to tell if it is a resin or not, the hair has some fine detail that says resin to me, but the rest of her (especially scabbard and bottom skirt/cape) says plastic... and there is that weird section of her scabbard which you wouldn't think anyone doing a painting of a resin figure to sell would let in. Although at the same time, all that shiny reflection could very well be a high-gloss paint. It's rare I see a pvc figurine reflect like that personally. Plus there is that Resin Fate on page 12 which has the same shiney boots...
