That is one of the reasons that I am enjoying Girge's character. I liked the fact that he humiliated that sadistic loli from Athens as a starter before working on the other elites. What I am looking for is his and Rygarts reactions to each other.

The thing is, Girge might be pro in close fighting, but what happens in the event of a sniper? Could he have defended himself if there wasn't the shouted warning?

Well who knows how well he could defend against a sniper but I think that goes for anyone and everyone really.
I don't see how anyone can handle a sniper easily, I guess using your head to outsmart them is the way and from what I see so far, Girge is more than capable in that department.

lol sounds like I'm totally fanboy for him, which may be the case

but either way I like to think he's just that good.

Is there anyone who can defend himself against sniper, without at least knowing the existence of one? And as you can see his movement, I doubt there is any sniper is able to get a hit at him when he know he's being sniped.

There are only 2 factors that decide your life when you are sniped without your awareness:
- Sniper's skill.
- Luck.

I'm pretty sure it's a monthly manga, but there are raws up to chapter 37 (or 39, i don't remember) which is why we've been getting more than 1 chapter a month.

it is monthly sadly. The manga is a bit slow though. It is still interesting to see how lygatto and company can get out of the situation - maybe a prisoner exchange? I am also hoping Lygatto gets a new mech or at least his current mech can somehow be rid of its limited usability.

He pretty much killed all the guys "with a face" under the enemy general before him and lygatto got captured. Girge got shot in the head after he admitted being the guy piloting the mech that killed all those men. Lygatto's mech fell off a cliff as well. Also everyone in the squad except for Narvi got captured. The crazy little girl is tailing Narvi right now - i hope Narvi doesnt die.. Girge is probably "the best" mech user in this series - he pwned so many mechs and i dont doubt for a second he can kill the enemy general in a 1 on 1 battle. Then the evil commander wanted to kill one more between Legatto and the other white haired guy to figure out the rider of that machine BUT the prisoner exchange came up. Cleo tried to talk to Lygatto but he seemed to be "out of it" carrying Girge's body. I think Lygatto will be in angst/killer mode for a while now...
