The fighting style is pretty perfect to catch the opponents off-guard just needs to work on that final blow though. Episode 2 gave me a better impression of the anime, and makes me want to watch the next one

ah!!!!! there you guys are.....
just under a different name of what I expected (Battle Girls Time Paradox) OK!!!!, the first 2 episodes was typical for a new series but hope it will gather momentum as the series continue. Hideyoshi(no)....adoreable Oda.....the usual and sexy Mitsuhide....too strict and Date........?????????? Question........ what would happen if the real Hideyoshi turned up????

Absolutely loving the series so far. Especially the character designs. I can't help but swoon over Masamune Date and I absolutely love Nobunaga's facial design (even if the armor is a bit on the '....yeah' side.
Knowing a little bit about the Oda I cant help but have a firm distrust for Mitsuhide despite her coolness. It will be interesting to see how historically they keep the story and if they do keep it semi-historical, how long it takes Hideyoshi to grow enough brains to think of showing her history book on Mitsuhide to Nobunaga and pull a Minority Report on her tookus. That being said I really hope this show gets licensed by Funimation (or if worse comes to worse Bandai). Crunchy Roll is nice, but you can't stream them to your television via the PS3.... |

Hopefully it won't come to that though. Im mostly looking forward to how Hideyoshi's knowledge of the "real world"/"future" provides advantages to Oda and her allies. Im just glad that someone has finally done a series that doest portay Nobunaga Oda as a "burn the world to ash, Sephiroth wannabe, super evil demon guy". Instead they portay him/her as shrewd yet kind, a tad excentric (the scene about killing the cellphone because it wont work), yet realistically pompous (sitting around watching the towns people in the burnt down village suffer instead of actually helping with troops to rebuild and such, only offering to feed the peasants after Hideyoshi asks for it). I find Nobunaga extremely likable and suprisingly compelling for this sort of series. I also have to say after all this Hideyoshi will have no excuse not to pass her test/class :P Last edited by ElizLestrad; 2011-04-15 at 00:05. |
