Yes you are looking at this wrongly. What Ryand is saying is that its fine to have an opinion, and its fine to like the material you do, but that's no reason to decry someone's work of fiction on the sole base of it not having a pairing you like. Haru's comments add injury to insult because he has admitted that he doesn't even read those types of stories in the first place, so he's basically commenting on something he hasn't even read.

That's why people prefer if Haru keeps his opinion on Yuunoha to himself, its hard not to see the comments of someone who doesn't even read the stuff he complains about as an insult. Nobody likes to see their stories used as a reason for people to complain.

Though there is one thing you should know, Fate isn't an ending choice in that sim. The reason? Well, if Fate was a choice in the sim, we all know how that would end up, don't we? Where's the fun in writing a sim if you already know the Fate choices will win?

But beyond Fate, any character that ever appeared in Nanoha is supposed to be a choice. You want Nanoha/Lindy? Doable. Nanoha/Chrono? Go find him. Nanoha/Jail? Yup.

Hehe been away and i come back to a humongous backlog! haven't had time to comment just yet but i thought i'd take up the new random pairing challenge.

Someone’s thought’s lingered on a high ranking officer of the TSAB.

‘She was strong.’

‘She was selfless.’

‘She was confident.’

‘She was brave.’

‘She was intelligent.’

‘Yet after all that, she was still a woman, even though sometimes people neglected that.’

A soft sigh came from the lips of the thinker, as their gaze came across the person their thoughts pondered over. She was rushing around as usual, taking on things above her station and then some. Everyone came to her for answers, when there was a problem, she was the solution.

‘This is stupid! Today’s her day off for crying out loud!’

The thinker got up from their position in the shared apartment and confronted the woman who just finished her last video call. She proceeded to then pluck the girls device from her.

“I think that’s enough work on your day off.”

The woman looked shocked at the interruption, before her device went off again, signaling another call, interrupted by the device thief.

“Sorry, she’s not available right now; it’s her day off, hold all calls until tomorrow. Thank You.”

The woman in front of the intruder was flabbergasted, expression slowly turning to anger and annoyance. The intruder looked to the captured device in hand.

“Rein, go get an ice cream.”

The device looked conflicted before slowly flying off. Hayate looked mad.

“What are you doing, these calls are important-”

Hayate was cut off.

“Your well being is more important, your working too hard, you’re taking a break and you’re taking one right now starting with a nice relaxing bath!”

Hayate didn’t even get a chance to retort. She was hoisted into a fireman’s lift and carted off towards the shared apartments large bathroom.

“It’s my job as a guardian to protect you and look after you, forget the battlefield, the office is more dangerous to you at the moment!”

Hayate’s pleas fell on deaf ears as other members of the apartment looked on in amusement at the TSAB general being kidnapped.

“You may be my mistress and commanding officer, but in our home that does not matter.”

Hayate was finally put down as they reached the bathroom and the door was locked and she had a staring match with the guardian in front of her. It didn’t stop Hayate showing her displeasure at the current course of action.

But her anger dissipated as she realized it was for her own good, and she could do with a break. She took a deep breath and released the tension that had been wracking her body lately. A small smile of satisfaction came from the guardian in front of her.

The guardian moved over to the bath to start running the hot water and putting in some relaxing scented herbs to ease the ache of Hayate’s sore body.

Turning back round, a smirk was now present on Hayates face. ‘Oh boy, I know that lecherous expression….’ Before the guardian could react Hayate had leapt forward grabbing them before looking up into their eyes.

“If I’m forced into taking a bath by my subordinate, then the least they can do is provide some service while I’m in there.”

The guardian gulped.

Zafira is too much of a gentleman to forcefully share a bath with Hayate, plus he doesn't have any chest-material to fondle.

I was awake before my alarm clock sounded it's normal routine to me. I had barely managed to sleep at all the night before, despite going to bed early and taking some of Nanoha-mama's sleep aid pills. I had been waiting for this day to come for so long, it felt as if it were still a dream. Today I would be going to officially join the military, starting with a three month training course boot camp. From there I would take my first real mage ranking test to see where I stood. With any luck, I would be able to go into a nice division, air force of course. As I got out of bed and stretched, I reflected back on everything that had happened to me up until now. My life wasn't exactly easy, being the adopted daughter of the 'White Devil', but at the same time it was really nice. Special treatment was always a plus, even though I never really welcomed it, and I already knew several high ranking people that I even called my friends. Now, though, it was finally time for me to stand on my own two feet and show them that they made the right choice in allowing me to join. I was going to make everyone proud of me, and it all started with today.

Vivio adjusted the strap to her bra without thinking about it before she pulled over a carefully chosen shirt to cover herself. It was a simple design, white with a small pink star on the left chest. Even if the Stars forward team was no longer official, she had been welcomed into the group honorarily and the shirt was special to her for that reason. Casual blue jeans were pulled over her legs to allow for movement as well as comfort. Her eyes looked at the room she had spent so many years in and gave a bittersweet smile. 'I never really liked my room growing up. It was a little small and didn't offer much privacy because it had to be passed to get to my parent's room. At the same time, I've had many great memories here and I know I'll miss this place.'

“Vivio!” A sweet voice came from the kitchen, making the girl move out of her room. “Come get some breakfast!”

As the blond appeared, she was greeted with a smile from Fate Harlaown. 'Fate-mama has always been there for me, taking care of and teaching me every step along the way.' The sixteen year old girl sat at the table where a plate was being placed down before her. 'She taught me how to cook, as well as how to do laundry and anything else that needed to be done around the house. She kind of spoiled me, but in a good way. I don't know what would have happened if she wasn't around while I was growing up. Well, around as much as possible. Fate-mama was an enforcer, and a highly skilled one. Often she would be sent away for days or even weeks at a time. I missed her during those moments, but no where near as much as my other mama.'

Nanoha chose that moment to come in through the front door. She was already dressed in the standard instructor's uniform bearing the colors of the Air Wing. “Good morning, Vivio.” She greeted her daughter before placing the mail on the table and smiling at Fate when it was moved away from her in favor of breakfast. “Thank you, Fate-chan.”

Vivio took a long slow intake of her coffee, a taste she had gotten from her godmother. 'Nanoha-mama adopted me officially when I was five years old...Or maybe it was one? My body and my age were different than most people's. I was 'born' four years old, so I could technically either be sixteen or twelve. It used to bother me growing up, but Nanoha-mama gave me a birthday, the day I was adopted: March the eighteenth.' Mis-colored eyes watched as Fate sat down across from her and talk to Nanoha moment, laughing at something funny they were talking about. 'Nanoha-mama is a lot stricter than Fate-mama is, but I suppose that in itself isn't a bad thing either. I used to be spanked while growing up, but it quickly turned to being grounded when Nanoha-mama accidentally revealed that spanking me broke her heart. Ever since then I tried to be a good girl whenever possible... Though, you can't be too good as a teenager. I've done several things Nanoha-mama didn't want me to, and today was the biggest of all.'

Breakfast was completed and Vivio slowly stood, taking her cleaned plate to the kitchen to start washing it in the sink before loading it into the dishwasher. “I'm going to double check everything, okay?” She got two answers back, one happy and one sad. On her way by, she watched as Fate scooted closer to Nanoha and whispered something into her ear. 'Fate-mama and Nanoha-mama are a good couple. Although they never officially said anything, they have always been together in my eyes. Their bills, their bank accounts, everything held both of their signatures. They were 'common-law' spouses, which meant that they had lived together for over seven years. Although they could have easily signed papers to prevent it from happening, they each said it would make things a lot simpler and instead wrote their names down to agree with it. Everyone knew them as 'Nanoha and Fate'. I once asked Nanoha-mama about it, but she had just told me that I wouldn't understand how they felt until I experienced it for myself. Regardless, They were my parents, and I loved them more than anything.'

'I knew I couldn't take much with me to boot camp. I would be there for three months, sleeping on base and busy every single day. I would have time each day to do things such as rest and eat, but I didn't expect any time off. As such, I only had a suitcase packed full of personal things. My underwear, a few shirts and pants, and random objects were in the suitcase.' Vivio checked the luggage once more before sitting on her bed and looking around the room. Socks were put over her feet and worn in sneakers covered them. As she stood she looked out the window and into her backyard. Dark green grass was growing neatly and a small garden full of herbs decorated the middle of it, surrounded in smooth stone.

“Vivio?” Nanoha's voice made the girl look at her mother and an uneasy smile was shared. “Is everything packed?”

“Yes, Mama.” Vivio nodded and went to her dresser and started combing her hair. “I checked it all three times now.”

“I see...”

The room stayed quiet as the younger one put her hair into a side-up, copying her mother's preferred hairstyle. “Don't worry, I'll be fine.”

“Even so, I worry.”

“I know.” Vivio looked at the clock and then picked up her suitcase. “We should get going if we want to get there early.”

“...Yeah.” Nanoha looked at her daughter for a few moments before sniffing. “Look at you... all grown up...”

Vivio's shoulders sagged. “Oh please, don't do this...”

Nanoha wiped her eyes and chuckled to herself. “I won't, I promise... It's just that...” She took a few steps forward and placed her hands onto her daughter's shoulders. “I'm just really proud of you.”

“Really?” She looked up and was rewarded with a hug.

“Yes, really.” She gave her child a squeeze before moving back. “I hope you do really well in your training. If you're lucky, maybe you'll even become a Forward.”

“It would take considerable talent to be scouted as a forward right off the bat.”

Nanoha shook her head. “I'm getting everyone's records that will be sent to the Air Force. If you qualify, I'll take you in as one...” Her sad face turned into a grin. “Don't think I won't try to make you retire early if I do, though, because that will be my goal!”

“Trained by Nanoha Takamachi.” Vivio allowed the last syllable of their name to trail out as she pretended to think about it. “I'd rather take my chances with the devil himself.”

The mother laughed at the joke and hugged her daughter once again. “You're mine alright. Now, let's get you on your way.”


Vivio looked at the section of the base she would spend the next three months of her life at with a small grin on her face. 'I've been here countless times, but this is the first time I'm going to be walking down these halls as an official recruit.' She took a long intake of the crisp morning air and turned back to her parents, who were standing next to Fate's car. “I guess I'll go on my own from here.” Fate walked up to her first and gave her a tight hug.

“Do your best,” came the simple advice. “I'm an enforcer so I have the right to check up on anyone at anytime. I'll stop by once or twice to see how you're doing.”

“Jeez Mom, you're as bad as Mama.” Vivio laughed to herself, secretly pleased that she'll be able to see her a few times during this. “I'll be fine, don't worry.” She received a peck on the cheek and quick hug before Nanoha stepped forward as well. “Mama,” Vivio addressed her steadily. “I'll miss you too.”

“Be tough in there.” Nanoha hugged her close and kissed Vivio on the forehead. “I'll think about you every day.”

“I know,” Vivio smiled at them and then saluted them both, for the first time meaning it. “I'm going to take my first steps then.” Both parents saluted her back and held it for a few moments before Vivio picked up her suitcase and turned, walking to the building. 'I know it won't be easy, and that many people expect a lot out of me, but I'm still excited. I've known all along that my place was in the military. I was made for this, both literally and figuratively, and I wanted to be the best, so I could protect those around me, just as my parents have done all their lives. I wanted to fly with Nanoha-mama and stand beside Fate-mama as she commanded.'

The girl placed her luggage along with a few other people's and moved to stand with them. Only about twenty people were there when the drill sergeant came up to them, a full ten minutes earlier than what was scheduled. “Line up!” His words were loud and sharp, making everyone scramble to stand in a line. Vivio stood at attention and listened to the firm words being spoken to them. Although she had expected it, she was a little disappointed to see that the man's uniform was brown and white instead of blue and white like her mother's. She was going to be trained from a land instructor it seemed. The person introduced himself as Sergeant Kayen, the baddest, meanest person on the planet. The girl had to stop herself from saying anything, but she still heard someone in the line snicker. The sergeant missed it, however, and commanded them all to find their bunks, get changed into their issued uniforms, and report back with their assigned partner for an introductory course in half an hour.

Vivio picked up her suitcase again and looked at the sheet of paper she was given. 'I'm in the B block it seems... That means it's this way.' She walked into a building and looked around at the clean tile floors and potted plants scattering the area. 'If I'm not mistaken, this area is double bunk rooms like the old section six was... That means my partner will be my room mate.' Her sneakers squeaked lightly, bringing a blush to her face when people looked at her. 'I can't wait to get into uniform so people will stop looking at me funny,' her mind thought to itself as she went into a hallway lined with doors for sleeping quarters.

Her number was found and a small smile came to her face when she saw the nameplate next to it already containing the newly embedded tags: Vivio Takamachi, Syn Virage. 'So, my partner's name is Syn Virage...I wonder if she's related to that Navy admiral that Fate-mama talks about sometimes...' She opened the door and looked into the empty room. 'Guess I'm here first.' To her immediate left was a set of bunk beds that went all the way to the wall. To her right was another wall that went to a small desk. Directly in front of her was the desk, followed by a window to it's left. Next to it was another desk and the final wall that had a dresser for the two to share. 'Just big enough to hold two people without them going crazy,' she mused to herself.

Walking to the dresser, Vivio sat her suitcase down and started to neatly place her underwear on the top, shirts in the middle, and pants on bottom. Once done, she slid her suitcase under the bottom bunk and moved to look out the window. Only a few seconds passed before the door opened behind her and in stepped the person that she would spend the next three months with. The girl had shockingly blue hair that went to her mid back, but Vivio's attention was quickly turned to the Heterochromic eyes staring back at her. The right shone a clear burning red while the left was a cold ice blue. “Hello,” Vivio greeted lightly as she turned to face her fully. “Virage-san?”

“Hi,” The girl walked into the room fully, closing the door behind her with her foot. As she walked to the dresser, she looked at the slightly shorter girl by the window and took her in. “So you're Takamachi's daughter, huh? Guess they put us together because they thought we'd get along.”

Vivio nodded. “So you are Virage's daughter. It's a pleasure to meet you.”

“Mmh.” Syn looked in the dresser curiously and went about dumping her things in.

“You should fold them to make them not get wrinkles.” Vivio advised, habits coming back from her home life.

“Not much to wrinkle,” Syn replied lightly. “I'll keep my uniform clean, but mainly we'll be covered in grime along with our training suits. Speaking of, we should get changed.”

Vivio nodded, now more open to the idea of changing clothes once she was sure the door wouldn't be opened again anytime soon. The blinds on the window were closed and she peeled off her shirt while walking to the bed to pick up the simple white shirt paired with baggy jeans. “So, what style are you?”

Syn took off her shirt and tossed it onto the top bunk, claiming it without words. “Mid-Childan, ranged mixed with limited close quarters, you?”

“Belkan,” Vivio noticed that her partner was donning a sports bra and thought wise to make the same choice. “I use a combination of different weapons depending on the situation. I have swallow that I use mostly. Double ended spear with curved blades on each side.”

“Bow here, but it breaks apart into daggers that can either stay attached with the energy string or come apart fully.” Syn hopped a few times to pull her jeans up and tucked in her shirt before sipping them. “Stupid shirt is too large.”

“I think they're a little too small.” Vivio tucked in her shirt as well and adjusted it to allow room for her ample chest to not be smothered.

Syn looked at the breasts and then down at her own A-cups. A small grunt of annoyance came from her but she sat down on the bottom bunk anyway to put her boots on. “So, Takamachi, what makes you want to join?”

“I guess to sum it up, you could say that I want to prove myself. You?”

The blue haired girl looked away from Vivio and put both hands behind her to brace herself while leaning back. “The same, you could say. My parents are famous and everyone kind of looks down on me because of it. No matter what I do, or how strong I am, everyone compares me to them.”

Vivio looked over at her, sitting down as well while putting on her shoes. “Like being in a shadow that you just can't get out from, huh?”

“Something like that, yeah.” Syn nodded and stood up, stretching her lithe body out before looking over her shoulder. “You ready?”

“Yeah,” Vivio stood as well and looked up slightly at the girl. The blue hair blew lightly behind her as she moved past, multi-colored eyes shining with a fierce determination that somehow intrigued the blond. 'I think it's just this being the first day,' she thought to herself while watching the girl. 'But for some reason, I feel like my life is about to change forever.' She closed the door behind herself and walked down the hallway, just behind the person she had just met. 'I am Vivio Takamachi, and in the words of my mother...'

"Mou..." Still blushing, Fate checked to make sure the blinds were all secured before slowing unbuttoning her dress shirt. "You're abusing your position, you know that?"

"Abusing? Nothing of the sort. I'm off duty right now." One could almost see Hayate's tail wagging in anticipation. "So how are you and Nanoha doing these days, Fate-chan?"

Fate stopped mid-unbuttoning and suddenly pulled her shirt away from herself and looked down her shirt. Relieved that she didn't find what she was looking for, she continued unbuttoning until she was able to let the shirt slip off her shoulders. "We're fine." Looking up with bright cheeks and only a simple lacy black bra to cover her chest, Fate whispered, "This... this is okay, right?"

"Mmhmm. Let's see now..." Hayate stepped forward, her hands gently cupping Fate's breasts as her voice distracted her 'patient'. "Ooh, now this is definitely a nice consistency. Not too soft... not too firm... full and round..."

"Hayate..." Fate looked away, biting her lip to keep from saying anything that might give away how good it felt to be touched.

Hayate seemed to notice anyway. Her hands slipped down to Fate's waist, moving up and down Fate's curves as she whispered, "Does Nanoha leave hickies on you? Does she leave marks on this beautiful skin?"

"Not... only sometimes... when she does it on purpose..." Fate squirmed a little. "Are you done yet?"

"Hold on, I have to check /everywhere/ to get a good measure of what your BMI is..." Hayate's lips fell against Fate's bare shoulder as a hand traced her arm. "I have to determine where the muscles start and where the fat begins... Patience, Fate. Patience."

"Nnhh..." Fate felt her legs start to give out on her, and she gripped Hayate's shoulders to brace herself. "Hayate..."

"Hmm?" Hayate carefully unzipped Fate's skirt.

Fate moaned softly as Hayate's hands found a sizable mass of flesh just south of her tailbone and her grip tightened. "I... I missed you..."

"But you have Nanoha now. You got what you always wanted."

"Mmmm...." Fate closed her eyes to gather her wits about her. "I know... but it's not the same... I miss your hands over my body as I sleep... your lips against my ear... it's just not the same with Nanoha."

"Because we're different people."

"And I love you both. Yet... differently." Fate opened her eyes, finally gathering the courage to say what she had been avoiding these last six long months. She even placed her hands over Hayate's so that they wouldn't distract either of them. "Hayate, I have to tell you something. I..."

Part 3: The Things we Do.

“Ladies of the House”

Once again Fate cursed about being on her knees. She knew that gardening was part of the job, but she couldn’t figure out why Kaden couldn’t come out for this overtime job. ‘Isn’t it a ritual to have the new meat weed all the time? Oh well, I don’t mind a one man day every once and a while.’ She took some time to get up off the kneeling pad and stretch out her legs. She decided to walk around the garden’s perimeter to help out the sore legs and to inspect where else she needed to weed as a cover to why she was not working. ‘Well, almost done, I have left to do is prune that…’ a flicker of long brunette hair interrupted her. ‘hehehe…’ the blond’s lips turned up into a smile ‘looks like I can have some fun.’ The landscaper’s intent was to hug the brunette from behind as she crept around the rose bush, but as she made her way around she realized that she made a mistake in identity. The woman gently inspecting the roses was not Nanoha, but one who had very similar and a bit more mature look. As the woman traced the petals of the flowers, Fate traced out the lines of this older image of Nanoha. She had the same figure, only slightly taller. The same face, but ever so sadder. A soft smile that lost any innocence.

“Oh, I’m sorry. Am I interrupting your work?” The older woman retracted her hand.

Fate took a moment to snap to. “No, not really…” She scrambled for something to say. “Do you like those flowers?”

The woman looked back at the roses “Yes,” she said in a shy, yet more mature voice “They are quite lovely.”

“Well then,” The landscaper walked close to the bush and inspected its proportions. “Ah.” She then pruned two of the flowers from the plant. She then exchanged her pruners for her pocket knife and carefully removed the thorns from the stems. “Here,” she held out the roses. “One for you and one for the lady that is so nice to bring us water when we are here.”

The woman took the flowers into her hand. “Thank you, but you didn’t have to do this.”

“The bush needed pruning anyways, and it’s better that such pretty flowers don’t go to waste.”

The brunette smiled and took a slight whiff of the rose’s fragrance. “The lady that brings you water?”

“Yes, she looks just like you.”

“My daughter you mean, Nanoha.” She brought the flower down and gazed upon Fate again.

“She is your daughter? Well, now I know who she got her beauty from.” The blond smiled at Nanoha’s mother ‘Don’t push it Fate, don’t want them to know the landscaper wants to do –this and that- with their daughter.’

“Thank you for the complement,” The woman blushed slightly, “and I will make sure that my daughter receives this rose.”

“Oh, where are my manners. My name is Fate Testarossa.” She took off her glove and held out her hand.

“My name is Momoko Takamachi” The women reached out her hand as well and gently shook the others. “It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Testarossa.”

“No, the pleasure is all mine. Now that I know that someone like you is enjoying this garden I’ll make sure to do an extra good job at keeping it looking beautiful.”

“Oh,” Momoko brought her hand back and blushed, “Thank you. I must say that my husband made a good choice in landscapers.”

Fate bowed politely, “Thank you. I don’t hear that that often.”

“I ought to let you return to your work, Miss Testarossa.”

Fate only politely nodded as the brunette turned and walked away. ‘God damn! She’s hot!’ She turned around and looked back at her work ‘Play time over…’

The blond wiped her brow as she loaded the last of her things into the back of the truck. “And… done.”

“Excuse me, Gardener.”

‘Oh I don’t know what to be pissed off about first, the term Gardener or the bitch tone of her voice’ Fate turned around and looked at the woman dressed in business attire that was standing with her arms crossed glaring at the landscaper. “May I help you?”

“You must set up the back patio for a meeting today. We want the rot iron chairs and tables that are in storage and all the extra flower pots removed.”

‘I swear I heard this arrogant tone before.’ “I’m sorry Ma’am, I can’t do that. I’ve already gone over this with the customer; I can’t do anything without a work order or a signature approving changes to a work order. Also, you don’t hire a landscaping firm to move the kinds of things you are asking for.”

The women seemed irritated by this “You will do as I say or I will have…”

“You fired?” Fate started to drop the formality out of her own speech “Last time I checked I was an employee of Harloawn Landscaping. They are the ones I’m employed too, the ones I get my paycheck from. You are just a customer; you have no power over my employment. In fact, my boss has a thing for dropping customers that harass his workers.”

“And I see they don’t mind hiring people like you.” The women smirked while looking down at Fate’s attire.

“Please tell me, what is that suppose to mean?”

“I am saying that this ‘landscaping’ company is low enough to have someone that talks like and has the attitude of a common whore on their payroll.”

“Oh, I’m sooo sorry” Fate slammed the tailgate shut and walked to the driver’s door. “I didn’t know I was using such inappropriate language in front of such an important CCD.”

“CCD? What is that street talk for?”

Fate jumped into the trucked and closed the door. “Corporate Cum Dumpster.”

The woman yelled through the open window “You are calling me what?”

“I’m calling you a nice warm hole for all those important business men that need assistance during their rough days in the office.”

“Why you little…”

“See, all that uppity ‘I’m better than you’ bullshit runs away when you’re called out on what you really are…” Fate keyed the ignition, “I bet you fuck like a sex crazed slut.” With that she drove away, leaving the scorned woman stammering in the driveway. ‘CCD…not bad for coming up with that on the spot. I think Chrono will enjoy that one.’

“Hello there Princess” Fate leaned forward towards Nanoha, who was approaching the lamppost. “How are you this evening?”

“Oh I’m fine,” the girl dressed in a pink tee-shirt and blue jeans replied. Once caught up to Fate, they walked in the direction of the downtown district.

“Oh by the…” Both girls stopped their sentence and looked at each other embarrassed.

Nanoha giggled and conceded the conversation to the blond. “You go ahead first.”

“Well, I saw your mother yesterday.”

“That’s what I was going to talk about! Thank you for the flower.” The end of her sentence trailed off into a blush.

“No problem, anything for my Princess”

‘My Princess…’ Nanoha played with her hands at the sound of that possessive statement.

“And your Mother is really hot”

“Really hot….? You think my Mother is hot!” Nanoha stared wide-eyed at Fate.

“Yes I do.” Nanoha continued to look at her with disbelief “Now I know where you get your good looks from… and what I have to look forward to in the future.”

“Oh… that’s what you meant. Sorry…” Princess looked down at her feet while they continued their stroll.

“Were you worried about me ogling your mother?” Fate stopped in her tracks. “Don’t worry,” She leaned forwarded enough so that Princess got a good view down the top of her black tank top. “You’re the one with the looks that gets me all hot and bothered over.”

Nanoha’s blush grew deep red. “I… am that attractive to you?”

“Yep!” The blond continued walking on, motioning towards a convenience store “I even find your shyness cuter too, compared to you mom.”

“My shyness too?”

Fate pushed the door open for Nanoha. “But I think that’s because you are still corruptible.”

“Corrup…. I give up on trying to understand you…” Princess sighed out.

“Oh that’s no fun,” Fate preceded to grab various snacks for their walk, “I was going to talk all kinds of dirty smack about your bitch sister.”

“You met my sister?”

“Oh yes I did…” Fate stopped her sarcastic voice when she reached the machine she wanted, “Slurpy?”

“Ah, no thank you, and what exactly happened with meeting my sister? I remember the day you came over to fix the garden up she came inside furious over something.”

“Oh we just had a little spat.” Fate emptied her pockets and played the cashier. “She treated me like I was her personal slave and I called her what she really is.”

Nanoha took a candy bar out of their bag and opened it up “What did you call her?”

Fate gave a look at Princess that made her stop biting her Snickers bar halfway through. “I thought you said you where going to give up on trying to understand me?”

The girl finished her bite and shrugged in response.

“Well then, I called your sister a Corporate Cum Dumpster.”

Princess contemplated this for a few moments. “What’s a… cum dumpster?”

“I knew you where going to ask that.”

“Mou… Fate! I don’t know these kinds of things.”

“Alright then,” the blond explained “lets see if you can wrap you head around this. Basically a cum dumpster is a women, or man, who exists only to be a place for men to put their ejaculate in. I figure that your sister is only in her position, whatever it is, because she sucked, fucked, and was jacked off on by every single dick in the whole company. I don’t doubt that she’s been cov…”

“Ewwww….” Nanoha cringed, “That’s disgusting.”

“So you do know a few things. How do you know these things?”

“I have had basic sex education. It is just that those kinds of things are so dirty that I don’t know all that much about them. And stuff like that I am sure I did not need to know about.”

“But now you know why your sister was so angry. I called her an office slut.”

Nanoha finished her candy bar. “Did you have to go so far?”

“Yes.” Fate dank a bit of her slurpy.

“Why?”

“Because she treated you like shit and she treated me like shit.”

“That’s why you called her that?” She couldn’t grasp all of what Fate was saying.

“Yep, when someone picks on my friends I get them back. I’m kind of cool like that. Your father, brother, and sister are all douchebags as far as I’m concerned.”

The brunette pondered this a bit, “So… that’s a good thing right?”

“It’s a good thing.”

The two continued their rounds around the town Nanoha taking in the sights of the streets while Fate took in the sights of Nanoha.

“Mou…”

“What is it?”

“I am thirsty.” Princess pleaded

“Should have gotten the slurpy. Here, have some of mine.” Fate held out the container with the straw facing Nanoha.

Nanoha stared at the straw just inches from her mouth. “But you already…”

“What’s wrong? My mouth isn’t dirty is it?” She smiled as she got closer to Nanoha “You’re thirsty, take a sip.”

She look from Fate’s eyes and back to the straw with a hint of salvia on it. “Well, ok.” With a shy movement she grabbed the tube with her mouth and called the liquid forward. Fate’s smile grew deeper with the action.

“That’s it, just like that…”

“Mou…” Princess pulled back with pink cheeks “That tone of yours sounded dirty…”

“It was dirty.” Fate pulled back the cup and brought it up to her own lips. Slowly she reached for the straw with her tongue and carefully wrapped her lips around the cylinder. She sucked the remainder of the liquid into her mouth, “Mummm…. Tasty....” She let the straw go and gazed down at Nanoha. “I just shared an indirect kiss with my Princess.”

“Mou Fate…” The now bright red girl cried out.

The blond just smiled back, “Come on… let’s get you home.”

or Zafila. It's due to the romanization of his name being tricky. But Keroko's right if we go by car naming he should be Zafira. Of course Tia's Tiana though the car should be Teana. It's all very confusing and more of a tomato tomato kind of thing.

Finally finished. Second and final part of Secret Agent Shamal. I realized only at about the middle that I had no idea whatsoever where the plot was heading.

The mattress creaked slowly under the movement of one figure from the bed. The figure moved first left, then turned right, moved away some pink hair that was getting in her face, then turned towards the edge of the bed. She opened her eyes very slowly. The clock next to the bed was telling her that it was 10:54. Perplexed at that fact and at the alien surroundings, she slowly raised herself and sat at the edge of the large double bed. Pain suddenly came to her head and she looked around the unfamiliar room. Some of her clothes had found a very comfortable spot on the floor instead of on their usual place, and the figure turned around shocked and locked behind her where another pink haired person lay in a similar state of almost undress.

Shamal rested her head on her palm and recalled the nights events.

As per Vice's note, fifteen minutes earlier than the mentioned time, Shamal had entered 'The Drunken Knight' Bar. It was a small and crowded place, but she had no problem spotting the woman with long pink hair sitting on a chair at the bar. Shamal took a seat next to the woman and after ordering her drink, engaged into trivial conversation. Many empty glasses later, the clock struck twelve and it seemed the two had talked about everything and at the same time nothing. It was then that the pink haired woman invited Shamal to her house to see 'the beautiful paintings that decorated her walls'. Of course Shamal agreed to come.

Another two hours later, and many hiccups, giggles, leaning overs and bumps later, they finally reached the pink haired womans house. Both of them collapsed on the floor and began laughing.

“Cards?” the other woman had asked showing a normal deck of cards in her hands.

“Poker?” Shamal asked herself eyeing the deck in question.

“Go Fish! House rules.”

Another hour later, the alcohol finally kicked in completely and both women collapsed on the bed and slept their way into the morning. Nothing else had happened.

Shamal turned around and looked at the sleeping figure behind her again. She then went and gathered her discarded clothes from the floor and got dressed. Searching through her card playings partner set of clothing she found an ID card, then quickly flipped her own phone to call Hayate.

“Shamal? Where in heavens are you??” the voice from the other side of the line boomed.

“Shh, I need a background check.” Shamal tried to keep her voice low not to wake the sleeping woman. She then looked at the borrowed ID card. “Signum Testarossa – give me everything you can find.”

Shamal heard the sound of typing on the other side of the line before Hayate relayed her found info. ”She seems to be affiliated with the Testarossas – wait, what's this? They seem to have had problems with the law, but somehow they've never been convicted for anything serious due to mysterious circumstances. It might be a good place to start.”

Shamal heard some groans and the moving of sheets behind her and immediately closed the phone. Turning around she found her previous game mate getting up and looking at her surprised while trying to cover herself.

“Laevantine!” Signum shouted coming to her senses and in less than a second seemed to produce a shotgun from under the bed. She then pointed it at Shamal. The former let the borrowed ID card fall to the ground and dashed towards the window next to her bed. Smashing through it, she barely caught the edge of the fire escape and prevented herself from falling down 5 whole floors on the hard concrete below.

Signum moved to the window and tried aiming her shotgun and shooting again, but the woman was already running on the fire escape and she couldn't get a clear shot. She cursed loudly at the fact that the target she was supposed to capture had escaped from right under her nose.

The following night, Shamal was finding herself in front of the Testarossa mansion. She would have come earlier, but all the running from the previous day and the alcohol didn't get along nicely and she was forced to spend the whole day in her apartment. Almost fully recovered, she was not trying to get access to aforementioned mansion – through none other then the drainage system.

Shamal crawled through the system and after many long minutes spend in the cold and wet pipes, reached the exit towards the mansions basement. If the fact that a woman was coming through the draining was a weird fact to anybody that would have seen it, Shamal was welcomed by an even more peculiar sight. She saw somebodies rear coming out from the nearby ventilation vent.

Shamal watched from behind a wine crate as the person fell down from the ventilation system and tumbled on the floor.

“Ugh, came down the wrong way.” the woman mumbled looking around the cellar. Seeing nobody around, the brunette woman started slowly walking towards the door. Shamal came from behind her and caught her by the waist, one hand heading towards her mouth to keep her from screaming, while the other trying to hold her in place. The brunette struggled against her unseen captor and the two ended up stumbling on the floor.

The brunette was quicker to recover, and by the time Shamal was starting to get up she was already on her feet and staring intently at the other woman. “You!” she said angrily recognizing the trench coat and the hat Shamal was wearing. “You're that person from the park! Where is Vivio?” she asked grabbing the blonde by her collar and pulling her close to her face.

In the light, Shamal saw the unmistakable side ponytail and those distinct purple eyes, identical to the woman she had seen in the park a few days ago. “Where is Vivio? You were approaching her a few days as well!” the woman shouted again.

“I don't know what you're talking about. I was just trying to help Vivio get up from the fall, never to kidnap her or anything.” Shamal felt the hands around her collar loosen up a little. “Yagami Shamal, Section 6 Agent.” She introduced herself, smiling, flashing an ID card before the brunette's eyes and the hands completely let her go.

“Takamachi Nanoha, Air Force Instructor.” The other woman replied. “I'm sorry.” she finished, her voice shaking. Shamal patted Nanoha on the back and voicelessly motioned her to say what had happened. Nanoha took the hint and relayed her story.

“This morning I woke up and went to pick up some paper work from the office and to buy the groceries and when I returned Vivio wasn't home anymore. All that I found was a neatly written note on the table that said 'At the Testarossa Mansion.' I didn't know what to make of it at first, then remembered the incident in the park when Vivio said you were trying to take her and I immediately associated that she had been kidnapped. So I came to get her back.”

“You seem very young to have a five year old daughter.” Shamal commented idly looking at Nanoha from toe to head.

“I'm only 19. - Vivio is my adopted daughter.” Nanoha added quickly before Shamal could ask the question that was written all over her face.

The agent sighed and weighed the story briefly. “Fine, I'm helping you.” Although the girl had never asked for any help, it wasn't like her to just leave her when their goals seemed to be similar – search the Testarossa Mansion. Also the prospect of having a companion on her mission somehow made her happy. Before Nanoha could complain, she took the lead and motioned for the her to follow as well.

The two walked through the complex structure of the mansion for the better part of fifteen minutes, but neither managed to find anything important. They met some guards, but dealt with them without any problems. Shamal was surprised and pleased that Nanoha wasn't a nuisance to her, and most likely a good assistance. After walking many corridors, they reached a door from behind which could the laughter of a little girl could be heard.

“Don't worry Vivio, Mama is here to save you!” Nanoha unceremoniously barged into the room by slamming the door. The door proved to be unlocked and the girl almost fell down from the surprise, but quickly regained her composure. Inside, she was surprised to see Vivio standing on the ground safe and sound with another blonde woman next to her. The two seemed to have been having fun talking before Nanoha had disturbed them.

“Mama, you're late.” Vivio said pointing to the clock on the wall that showed it was well passed the middle of the night. Shamal entered the room and looked curiously at the scene in front of her. Her eyes instantly went though to the pink haired woman at the opposite end of the room. The woman seemed to have noticed her as well, but wasn't moving from her spot.

“Vivio, are you alright?” Nanoha ran to her daughter and hugged her, before her eyes turned to the other blonde with long hair from the room who was merely smiling at the scene in front of her. “Long time no see, Nanoha.” Her voice was soft and quiet and there seemed to be no malice behind her words.

“Fate?” Nanoha blinked in surprise seeing the other woman. “You are the one who kidnapped Vivio?”

Fate looked perplexed at the accusation. “I thought I had left a clear note where you could find Vivio. I wanted to come and visit you, but you weren't home so I invited Vivio over to play with Arf and that you would come and pick her up later. We just weren't expecting you to come through the air vents in the middle of the night.”

“But... I never knew...” Nanoha mumbled before coming to the right answer. “Oh... Fate T. Harlown... Fate, you never told me what the T in your name stood for!”

“I'm... sorry.” Fate voiced her regret for the confusion. “I've wanted to keep the fact that I was associated with the Testarossas hidden while in school for many reasons. After I've turned 18 and took over as head of the family, there wasn't a need anymore. I sort of... forgot.”

“Nyahaha.” Nanoha ended up laughing and hugged her old friend. “Nothing happened to Vivio so it's all alright.”

Fate looked behind her at her guardian who was sending death glared with the woman Nanoha had arrived. She sighed. “Nanoha, would you and Vivio spend the night here. It would make me a bad host to let you leave this late and we can discuss things in length in the morning.” Nanoha only nodded sensing the tense atmosphere in the room and took Vivio by the hand and left the room towards one of the many guest rooms she and Shamal had passed through earlier.

When they were alone, Signum dared speak. “Mistress this is nothing to be concerned with. I can...”

“Let me handle this Signum. I'm quite interested to hear what out guest has to say.” Fate cut the pink haired woman in mid sentence. Although the blondes tone wasn't even commanding, the guardian complied with it immediately.

Shamal was invited to take a seat and was assured that it was safe to relay her reason for invading the house. Shamal said that she had reached them by following the command line of a drug and weapons dealing. Both Fate and Signum seemed surprised by this fact. Signum then revealed that it was probably the doing of the Scaglietti for which she was working as an intermediate on behalf of the Testarossa side, but they had never been told the contents of the transports. Signum said that part of the joint deal, she had heard the pilot Vice had had information extracted out of him, and she had been ordered by the Scaglieti to take care of whoever came and tried to follow the trail – which proved to be Shamal which she had failed to capture. Fate concluded that since Shamal had managed to get to them, the deal was a bad sheep and it had to be terminated. She told Shamal of the whereabouts of the Scaglieti factory where it was most likely to find something that could condemn them.

Before Shamal left the room, Fate added one request: “Please tell your superior that Fate Testarossa Harlown sends her regards.” And with that, Shamal left to the next and final part of her assignment.

The following day, Shamal had driven the whole morning around the Scaglietti factory which was hidden as a corporate glass factory in the middle of the Northern District, but she had managed to find no sort of method to enter without having to deal with guards and other nuisances. Fate had guaranteed her that one police search could very well send the whole Scaglietti family in prison, but she had found no way to justify a police call as the factory was well covered and 'checked' already. After another hour of looking around, her mind wandered to the peculiar suitcase in the cars trunk that Shari had given her a while ago. Shamal parked her car and took the heavy suitcase. Not opening it yet, she climbed through the fire escape of a nearby apartment flat and stopped on the roof from where she had a clear view of the Factory. Still thinking of no way of entering besides skydiving through the roof, she opened the suitcase and looked at its contents. In it was another simple wooden box with clear black letters that wrote:

Looking at the instructions, she assembled the many pieces that were in the box with incredible ease.

Shamal raised her new bazooka across her shoulder and adjusted her sunglasses on her nose. She aimed the device towards the factory and with incredible precision fired it. At first there was a small explosion, then it caused a chain reaction that would have made any missile proud as the building slowly, but surely started collapsing by itself. Luckily, it was lunch break and most of the workers were out. Shamal made a mental note to congratulate Shari for the destructive power she managed to put into a single shot. The ringing of a phone stopped the woman from her line of thoughts.

“Ah, Hayate. No, I don't know what's happening. No, I'm not anywhere close to the Northern District. Why is there screaming? Oh, there's a party here and two girls are playing Yakyuken and everybody is cheering. Yes, feel free to allow the ambulances passage to where the explosion was. And since you're at it, send the police too, I'm sure they're going to find something interesting.” Shamal made a pause from answering Hayate's constant questions before adding what she had promised the previous day. “Also, Fate Testarossa Harlown sends her regards.” Thinking she had heard the sound of a falling chair, Shamal was left wondering what the relation between the two was.

The alarm clock was stopped before it made it's third call. The radio was also stopped before it managed to even start its usual broadcast. Shamal yawned before going back under the sheets. When she though she could get a few more hours of sleep after the previously exhausting days, her cell phone started ringing. Moving around to grab it, she saw the caller and decided to answer.

“Good morning Shamal!" Hayate yelled in an awfully cheerful voice.

“Good morning.” Shamal replied rubbing her eyes to rub off the remains of the sleep she knew she wouldn't be getting anymore.

“I just got the full reports of your last mission along with the whole budget and guess what? I'm promoting you to a whole new department. The people there asked for you personally!”

“That's great. What department are we talking about?”

Hayate made a small pause before voicing her answer.

“Demolitions!”

As I walked down the halls I couldn't help but wonder exactly what the next three months would consist of. I've seen many instructors teach many different ways, each one ranging from overly harsh to overly nice. Nanoha-mama always referred to her teaching as 'plain' and 'simple', but in reality it was rather unique. A positive attitude with gentle coaching made people seem to try even harder than they would if they were being yelled at or insulted. The training corps were very unique in their ways of teaching people how to train, but I still got the notion that the person who was going to be in charge of us was going to be one of those types who yell a lot. Figures I'd be stuck with someone like that, but at the same time a part of me was happy about it. If I could prove myself to this person, then it would mean that I was truly capable of doing this. Any praise from him would be deserved.

A soft sigh came from the lips of the thinker, as their gaze came across the person their thoughts pondered over. She was rushing around as usual, taking on things above her station and then some. Everyone came to her for answers, when there was a problem, she was the solution.

‘This is stupid! Today’s her day off for crying out loud!’

The thinker got up from their position in the shared apartment and confronted the woman who just finished her last video call. She proceeded to then pluck the girls device from her.

“I think that’s enough work on your day off.”

The woman looked shocked at the interruption, before her device went off again, signaling another call, interrupted by the device thief.

“Sorry, she’s not available right now; it’s her day off, hold all calls until tomorrow. Thank You.”

The woman in front of the intruder was flabbergasted, expression slowly turning to anger and annoyance. The intruder looked to the captured device in hand.

“Rein, go get an ice cream.”

The device looked conflicted before slowly flying off. Hayate looked mad.

“What are you doing, these calls are important-”

Hayate was cut off.

“Your well being is more important, your working too hard, you’re taking a break and you’re taking one right now starting with a nice relaxing bath!”

Hayate didn’t even get a chance to retort. She was hoisted into a fireman’s lift and carted off towards the shared apartments large bathroom.

“It’s my job as a guardian to protect you and look after you, forget the battlefield, the office is more dangerous to you at the moment!”

Hayate’s pleas fell on deaf ears as other members of the apartment looked on in amusement at the TSAB general being kidnapped.

“You may be my mistress and commanding officer, but in our home that does not matter.”

Hayate was finally put down as they reached the bathroom and the door was locked and she had a staring match with the guardian in front of her. It didn’t stop Hayate showing her displeasure at the current course of action.

But her anger dissipated as she realized it was for her own good, and she could do with a break. She took a deep breath and released the tension that had been wracking her body lately. A small smile of satisfaction came from the guardian in front of her.

The guardian moved over to the bath to start running the hot water and putting in some relaxing scented herbs to ease the ache of Hayate’s sore body.

Turning back round, a smirk was now present on Hayates face. ‘Oh boy, I know that lecherous expression….’ Before the guardian could react Hayate had leapt forward grabbing them before looking up into their eyes.

“If I’m forced into taking a bath by my subordinate, then the least they can do is provide some service while I’m in there.”

The guardian gulped.

hehe, i did write this with "the Guardian" being someone in mind, but i wrote it so it was open. I was going to continue some more, but i thought.....Lets see who the thread thinks it is, and if they would prefer someone else than who i originally envisioned....If you didn't realise it was one of Hayate's "knights" then go watch Nanoha Again!

Yeah I think it's Signum, no one else would carry her like that. I like the story, very true to any of the knights.

Finally finished. Second and final part of Secret Agent Shamal. I realized only at about the middle that I had no idea whatsoever where the plot was heading.

The mattress creaked slowly under the movement of one figure from the bed. The figure moved first left, then turned right, moved away some pink hair that was getting in her face, then turned towards the edge of the bed. She opened her eyes very slowly. The clock next to the bed was telling her that it was 10:54. Perplexed at that fact and at the alien surroundings, she slowly raised herself and sat at the edge of the large double bed. Pain suddenly came to her head and she looked around the unfamiliar room. Some of her clothes had found a very comfortable spot on the floor instead of on their usual place, and the figure turned around shocked and locked behind her where another pink haired person lay in a similar state of almost undress.

Shamal rested her head on her palm and recalled the nights events.

As per Vice's note, fifteen minutes earlier than the mentioned time, Shamal had entered 'The Drunken Knight' Bar. It was a small and crowded place, but she had no problem spotting the woman with long pink hair sitting on a chair at the bar. Shamal took a seat next to the woman and after ordering her drink, engaged into trivial conversation. Many empty glasses later, the clock struck twelve and it seemed the two had talked about everything and at the same time nothing. It was then that the pink haired woman invited Shamal to her house to see 'the beautiful paintings that decorated her walls'. Of course Shamal agreed to come.

Another two hours later, and many hiccups, giggles, leaning overs and bumps later, they finally reached the pink haired womans house. Both of them collapsed on the floor and began laughing.

“Cards?” the other woman had asked showing a normal deck of cards in her hands.

“Poker?” Shamal asked herself eyeing the deck in question.

“Go Fish! House rules.”

Another hour later, the alcohol finally kicked in completely and both women collapsed on the bed and slept their way into the morning. Nothing else had happened.

Shamal turned around and looked at the sleeping figure behind her again. She then went and gathered her discarded clothes from the floor and got dressed. Searching through her card playings partner set of clothing she found an ID card, then quickly flipped her own phone to call Hayate.

“Shamal? Where in heavens are you??” the voice from the other side of the line boomed.

“Shh, I need a background check.” Shamal tried to keep her voice low not to wake the sleeping woman. She then looked at the borrowed ID card. “Signum Testarossa – give me everything you can find.”

Shamal heard the sound of typing on the other side of the line before Hayate relayed her found info. ”She seems to be affiliated with the Testarossas – wait, what's this? They seem to have had problems with the law, but somehow they've never been convicted for anything serious due to mysterious circumstances. It might be a good place to start.”

Shamal heard some groans and the moving of sheets behind her and immediately closed the phone. Turning around she found her previous game mate getting up and looking at her surprised while trying to cover herself.

“Laevantine!” Signum shouted coming to her senses and in less than a second seemed to produce a shotgun from under the bed. She then pointed it at Shamal. The former let the borrowed ID card fall to the ground and dashed towards the window next to her bed. Smashing through it, she barely caught the edge of the fire escape and prevented herself from falling down 5 whole floors on the hard concrete below.

Signum moved to the window and tried aiming her shotgun and shooting again, but the woman was already running on the fire escape and she couldn't get a clear shot. She cursed loudly at the fact that the target she was supposed to capture had escaped from right under her nose.

The following night, Shamal was finding herself in front of the Testarossa mansion. She would have come earlier, but all the running from the previous day and the alcohol didn't get along nicely and she was forced to spend the whole day in her apartment. Almost fully recovered, she was not trying to get access to aforementioned mansion – through none other then the drainage system.

Shamal crawled through the system and after many long minutes spend in the cold and wet pipes, reached the exit towards the mansions basement. If the fact that a woman was coming through the draining was a weird fact to anybody that would have seen it, Shamal was welcomed by an even more peculiar sight. She saw somebodies rear coming out from the nearby ventilation vent.

Shamal watched from behind a wine crate as the person fell down from the ventilation system and tumbled on the floor.

“Ugh, came down the wrong way.” the woman mumbled looking around the cellar. Seeing nobody around, the brunette woman started slowly walking towards the door. Shamal came from behind her and caught her by the waist, one hand heading towards her mouth to keep her from screaming, while the other trying to hold her in place. The brunette struggled against her unseen captor and the two ended up stumbling on the floor.

The brunette was quicker to recover, and by the time Shamal was starting to get up she was already on her feet and staring intently at the other woman. “You!” she said angrily recognizing the trench coat and the hat Shamal was wearing. “You're that person from the park! Where is Vivio?” she asked grabbing the blonde by her collar and pulling her close to her face.

In the light, Shamal saw the unmistakable side ponytail and those distinct purple eyes, identical to the woman she had seen in the park a few days ago. “Where is Vivio? You were approaching her a few days as well!” the woman shouted again.

“I don't know what you're talking about. I was just trying to help Vivio get up from the fall, never to kidnap her or anything.” Shamal felt the hands around her collar loosen up a little. “Yagami Shamal, Section 6 Agent.” She introduced herself, smiling, flashing an ID card before the brunette's eyes and the hands completely let her go.

“Takamachi Nanoha, Air Force Instructor.” The other woman replied. “I'm sorry.” she finished, her voice shaking. Shamal patted Nanoha on the back and voicelessly motioned her to say what had happened. Nanoha took the hint and relayed her story.

“This morning I woke up and went to pick up some paper work from the office and to buy the groceries and when I returned Vivio wasn't home anymore. All that I found was a neatly written note on the table that said 'At the Testarossa Mansion.' I didn't know what to make of it at first, then remembered the incident in the park when Vivio said you were trying to take her and I immediately associated that she had been kidnapped. So I came to get her back.”

“You seem very young to have a five year old daughter.” Shamal commented idly looking at Nanoha from toe to head.

“I'm only 19. - Vivio is my adopted daughter.” Nanoha added quickly before Shamal could ask the question that was written all over her face.

The agent sighed and weighed the story briefly. “Fine, I'm helping you.” Although the girl had never asked for any help, it wasn't like her to just leave her when their goals seemed to be similar – search the Testarossa Mansion. Also the prospect of having a companion on her mission somehow made her happy. Before Nanoha could complain, she took the lead and motioned for the her to follow as well.

The two walked through the complex structure of the mansion for the better part of fifteen minutes, but neither managed to find anything important. They met some guards, but dealt with them without any problems. Shamal was surprised and pleased that Nanoha wasn't a nuisance to her, and most likely a good assistance. After walking many corridors, they reached a door from behind which could the laughter of a little girl could be heard.

“Don't worry Vivio, Mama is here to save you!” Nanoha unceremoniously barged into the room by slamming the door. The door proved to be unlocked and the girl almost fell down from the surprise, but quickly regained her composure. Inside, she was surprised to see Vivio standing on the ground safe and sound with another blonde woman next to her. The two seemed to have been having fun talking before Nanoha had disturbed them.

“Mama, you're late.” Vivio said pointing to the clock on the wall that showed it was well passed the middle of the night. Shamal entered the room and looked curiously at the scene in front of her. Her eyes instantly went though to the pink haired woman at the opposite end of the room. The woman seemed to have noticed her as well, but wasn't moving from her spot.

“Vivio, are you alright?” Nanoha ran to her daughter and hugged her, before her eyes turned to the other blonde with long hair from the room who was merely smiling at the scene in front of her. “Long time no see, Nanoha.” Her voice was soft and quiet and there seemed to be no malice behind her words.

“Fate?” Nanoha blinked in surprise seeing the other woman. “You are the one who kidnapped Vivio?”

Fate looked perplexed at the accusation. “I thought I had left a clear note where you could find Vivio. I wanted to come and visit you, but you weren't home so I invited Vivio over to play with Arf and that you would come and pick her up later. We just weren't expecting you to come through the air vents in the middle of the night.”

“But... I never knew...” Nanoha mumbled before coming to the right answer. “Oh... Fate T. Harlown... Fate, you never told me what the T in your name stood for!”

“I'm... sorry.” Fate voiced her regret for the confusion. “I've wanted to keep the fact that I was associated with the Testarossas hidden while in school for many reasons. After I've turned 18 and took over as head of the family, there wasn't a need anymore. I sort of... forgot.”

“Nyahaha.” Nanoha ended up laughing and hugged her old friend. “Nothing happened to Vivio so it's all alright.”

Fate looked behind her at her guardian who was sending death glared with the woman Nanoha had arrived. She sighed. “Nanoha, would you and Vivio spend the night here. It would make me a bad host to let you leave this late and we can discuss things in length in the morning.” Nanoha only nodded sensing the tense atmosphere in the room and took Vivio by the hand and left the room towards one of the many guest rooms she and Shamal had passed through earlier.

When they were alone, Signum dared speak. “Mistress this is nothing to be concerned with. I can...”

“Let me handle this Signum. I'm quite interested to hear what out guest has to say.” Fate cut the pink haired woman in mid sentence. Although the blondes tone wasn't even commanding, the guardian complied with it immediately.

Shamal was invited to take a seat and was assured that it was safe to relay her reason for invading the house. Shamal said that she had reached them by following the command line of a drug and weapons dealing. Both Fate and Signum seemed surprised by this fact. Signum then revealed that it was probably the doing of the Scaglietti for which she was working as an intermediate on behalf of the Testarossa side, but they had never been told the contents of the transports. Signum said that part of the joint deal, she had heard the pilot Vice had had information extracted out of him, and she had been ordered by the Scaglieti to take care of whoever came and tried to follow the trail – which proved to be Shamal which she had failed to capture. Fate concluded that since Shamal had managed to get to them, the deal was a bad sheep and it had to be terminated. She told Shamal of the whereabouts of the Scaglieti factory where it was most likely to find something that could condemn them.

Before Shamal left the room, Fate added one request: “Please tell your superior that Fate Testarossa Harlown sends her regards.” And with that, Shamal left to the next and final part of her assignment.

The following day, Shamal had driven the whole morning around the Scaglietti factory which was hidden as a corporate glass factory in the middle of the Northern District, but she had managed to find no sort of method to enter without having to deal with guards and other nuisances. Fate had guaranteed her that one police search could very well send the whole Scaglietti family in prison, but she had found no way to justify a police call as the factory was well covered and 'checked' already. After another hour of looking around, her mind wandered to the peculiar suitcase in the cars trunk that Shari had given her a while ago. Shamal parked her car and took the heavy suitcase. Not opening it yet, she climbed through the fire escape of a nearby apartment flat and stopped on the roof from where she had a clear view of the Factory. Still thinking of no way of entering besides skydiving through the roof, she opened the suitcase and looked at its contents. In it was another simple wooden box with clear black letters that wrote:

Looking at the instructions, she assembled the many pieces that were in the box with incredible ease.

Shamal raised her new bazooka across her shoulder and adjusted her sunglasses on her nose. She aimed the device towards the factory and with incredible precision fired it. At first there was a small explosion, then it caused a chain reaction that would have made any missile proud as the building slowly, but surely started collapsing by itself. Luckily, it was lunch break and most of the workers were out. Shamal made a mental note to congratulate Shari for the destructive power she managed to put into a single shot. The ringing of a phone stopped the woman from her line of thoughts.

“Ah, Hayate. No, I don't know what's happening. No, I'm not anywhere close to the Northern District. Why is there screaming? Oh, there's a party here and two girls are playing Yakyuken and everybody is cheering. Yes, feel free to allow the ambulances passage to where the explosion was. And since you're at it, send the police too, I'm sure they're going to find something interesting.” Shamal made a pause from answering Hayate's constant questions before adding what she had promised the previous day. “Also, Fate Testarossa Harlown sends her regards.” Thinking she had heard the sound of a falling chair, Shamal was left wondering what the relation between the two was.

The alarm clock was stopped before it made it's third call. The radio was also stopped before it managed to even start its usual broadcast. Shamal yawned before going back under the sheets. When she though she could get a few more hours of sleep after the previously exhausting days, her cell phone started ringing. Moving around to grab it, she saw the caller and decided to answer.

“Good morning Shamal!" Hayate yelled in an awfully cheerful voice.

“Good morning.” Shamal replied rubbing her eyes to rub off the remains of the sleep she knew she wouldn't be getting anymore.

“I just got the full reports of your last mission along with the whole budget and guess what? I'm promoting you to a whole new department. The people there asked for you personally!”

“That's great. What department are we talking about?”

Hayate made a small pause before voicing her answer.

“Demolitions!”

So Nanoha obviously knows Fate and Fate knows Hayate, and they all seem to know each other. The Testarossas aren't bad, that's relieving. I want to know the back story between those three. I love how Nanoha automatically jumped to the conclusion that Shamal kidnapped Vivio. Lol! A befriending kit? Awesome. I love the phone call, right after she does it. Why is there screaming? Yakyuken. Shamal gets promoted to demolitions, lol. So true to character.

A positive attitude with gentle coaching made people seem to try even harder than they would if they were being yelled at or insulted. The training corps were very unique in their ways of teaching people how to train, but I still got the notion that the person who was going to be in charge of us was going to be one of those types who yell a lot. Figures I'd be stuck with someone like that, but at the same time a part of me was happy about it. If I could prove myself to this person, then it would mean that I was truly capable of doing this. Any praise from him would be deserved.

"And I though that Alphonse was strange" Vita though, suddenly, the talk of 2 heanchmens called the atention of Vita

"Hey, Rage returned last night"

"Hmm... who was the poor soul that he masacred this time?"

"You know that when is refering to Rage, there are no jokes, Maligno comanded Rage to torturate and liciate that girl, as a warning to the TSAB of what will hapen to them if they get in the bussines of the Brotherhood of Death"

"The cult that leads that woman? Uhmm... since Maligno formed that aliance with that woman, the things are getting pretty scary around here"

"She's the Silver Queen, and what do you mean with scary?"

"I mean about all those strange warriors taht are appearing, like that Parca Guy, I don't know who is scarier, Parca or Rage"

"Blue Face?" Vita inmediatly recognised that description, when she was chasing that truck in the auto parking, the driver of the vehicle had a blue face, "So his name is Freeza..." Vita though again

"Atention to all the troops" A male voice was heared through a comunicator in the big chamber that was the Main Station "The train will leave the station in 1 hour, all weaponmasters and chargo transportist report to level 4 of the station"

Vita turned and saw to one of the walls, a big number 1 was painted on it

"To reach the train I must go to the level 4" She though

She then looked for Gary to tell him that they must go to the section 4, but she stoped when she saw a big, muscle sopldier talking with Gary, Vita's companion looked quite nervous and was tring to hide his face from the other guy

"Hey babe, haven't see you in section 1 before"

"Ha... yeah, I've tranfered here from sector... uh... 4" Gary responded tring to imitate a female voice

"Damn, you probably screwed up big for been launched from sector 4 to here... well, maybe we can... know each other better, don't you think?"

"Uhmmm... yes... well, I... I... need to..."

"Bertha!" Vita screamed runing at Gary "Bertha, stop flirting around, we must go to section 4 now!" Vita grabed the arm of Gary and pulled him out of the danger

"Oh... you saved me Space Girl"

"I must admit that it would be something fun to see, but I need you and your 'spirit' intacts in order to catch Rage"

"And to save my girl"

"Yes, yes! We'll save your girlfriend, now let's move!"

Vita and Gary ran into a little chamber with stairs going down, they needed to hurry to sector 4

Vivio was still asleep on the bed's hospital, the machines that keeped her alive were still making their noises

The young man walked into the room without been detected, he grabed the chair in wich Nanoha was sited and he placed himself at the side of the bed, from his pocket, he pulled out a little bottle filled with a strange liquid, he removed the tap and passed the bottle beneath Viovio's nose, the girl inmediatly awake

"Ugh... wna.... were..."

"You are in the TSAB hospital Vivio"

Vivio turned to see the man that just talked to her, he was a young man, with black hair, a strange costume and yellow eyes, Vivio didn't know... but she was at the precense of the same guy who gave Vita the key in the Island

"W-Who are you...?" Vivio asked

"You look terrible, ha, even an old cloth looks better than you!"

"Uh... what hapened... I can't remember anything...."

"A warrior named Rage teached you some tricks, the so famous Baby devil is now a liciated amge unable to even grave a spoon without shacke"

"H-have you... came here just to... to mock me?"

"No Vivio... I came here to make a deal with you"

"A... a deal?"

"Yes, you see... I'm currently in a quest to help a friend, of me... you probably know her... Vita"

"Vita?... You... are friend of... of Vita?"

"Yes in a manner of Speaking" The man said, after this he grabed once more the bottle he had

"You see this? This Vivio is Dragon's Blood, if you drink this, all your injuries will heal and you'll be totally new tomorrow at the morning"

"Are... are you going to..."

"Give it to you? If you want it you must promise me that you will help me help Vita"

"Vita... Vita is my friend... I'll help her anytime..."

"Ah, well, there is another point, I'm asking the aid of you, not of your mamans or of any of your frineds, if youy acept the deal, your loyalty will be now... for the Black Dragon Clan"

"The... the Black Dragon... Clan?"

"All at it's time, if you acept, that answer will come in the future... now, the question is... We have a deal?"

Vivio looked at the bottle and then she looked at this misterius warrior, was he tricking her? Why he said that he wanted to help Vita? Help her for what? Why ask help to her and not to Nanoha or Fate who are stronger mages? And what was the Black Dragon Clan?

"Vivio... I'm runing out of time, we have a deal?"

"I... I... I acept"

"Ah, that's a great choise, now, tomorrow, the first thing you'll do, is go to the center of Central City and be on the plaza's font at 11:00 AM, a friend of me will find you there, and she'll tell you what to do next"

The misterius guy placed on the chair in wich he was sited, some clothes

"And I'll leave you my presentation card" He pulled out a little card with a crocodile drawn on it and placed it also on the chair, over the clothes, he then grabed the head of Vivio and helped her to drink all the Dragon's blood

"Have nice dreams Vivio" He said after that,m Vivio falled totally asleep, and this misterius warrior disdapeared into the darkness of the Hospital

*She's crossed her arms, “If you're going to be like that then at least treat me to some ice cream”*

*The image changes to Hayate reading Hayate Yagami next to her*

* She has her hand on her hip “Well I am welsh you know. Raised there til my mum and dad died... but it's okay! I'm being raised by some relatives so I'm fine!” *

*She holds her hand up into the air with a knowing grin “You'll have to be more careful, Uminari's full of potholes”*

Someone’s thought’s lingered on a high ranking officer of the TSAB.

‘She was strong.’

‘She was selfless.’

‘She was confident.’

‘She was brave.’

‘She was intelligent.’

‘Yet after all that, she was still a woman, even though sometimes people neglected that.’

A soft sigh came from the lips of the thinker, as their gaze came across the person their thoughts pondered over. She was rushing around as usual, taking on things above her station and then some. Everyone came to her for answers, when there was a problem, she was the solution.

‘This is stupid! Today’s her day off for crying out loud!’

The thinker got up from their position in the shared apartment and confronted the woman who just finished her last video call. She proceeded to then pluck the girls device from her.

“I think that’s enough work on your day off.”

The woman looked shocked at the interruption, before her device went off again, signaling another call, interrupted by the device thief.

“Sorry, she’s not available right now; it’s her day off, hold all calls until tomorrow. Thank You.”

The woman in front of the intruder was flabbergasted, expression slowly turning to anger and annoyance. The intruder looked to the captured device in hand.

“Rein, go get an ice cream.”

The device looked conflicted before slowly flying off. Hayate looked mad.

“What are you doing, these calls are important-”

Hayate was cut off.

“Your well being is more important, your working too hard, you’re taking a break and you’re taking one right now starting with a nice relaxing bath!”

Hayate didn’t even get a chance to retort. She was hoisted into a fireman’s lift and carted off towards the shared apartments large bathroom.

“It’s my job as a guardian to protect you and look after you, forget the battlefield, the office is more dangerous to you at the moment!”

Hayate’s pleas fell on deaf ears as other members of the apartment looked on in amusement at the TSAB general being kidnapped.

“You may be my mistress and commanding officer, but in our home that does not matter.”

Hayate was finally put down as they reached the bathroom and the door was locked and she had a staring match with the guardian in front of her. It didn’t stop Hayate showing her displeasure at the current course of action.

But her anger dissipated as she realized it was for her own good, and she could do with a break. She took a deep breath and released the tension that had been wracking her body lately. A small smile of satisfaction came from the guardian in front of her.

The guardian moved over to the bath to start running the hot water and putting in some relaxing scented herbs to ease the ache of Hayate’s sore body.

Turning back round, a smirk was now present on Hayates face. ‘Oh boy, I know that lecherous expression….’ Before the guardian could react Hayate had leapt forward grabbing them before looking up into their eyes.

“If I’m forced into taking a bath by my subordinate, then the least they can do is provide some service while I’m in there.”

The guardian gulped.

Finally finished. Second and final part of Secret Agent Shamal. I realized only at about the middle that I had no idea whatsoever where the plot was heading.

The mattress creaked slowly under the movement of one figure from the bed. The figure moved first left, then turned right, moved away some pink hair that was getting in her face, then turned towards the edge of the bed. She opened her eyes very slowly. The clock next to the bed was telling her that it was 10:54. Perplexed at that fact and at the alien surroundings, she slowly raised herself and sat at the edge of the large double bed. Pain suddenly came to her head and she looked around the unfamiliar room. Some of her clothes had found a very comfortable spot on the floor instead of on their usual place, and the figure turned around shocked and locked behind her where another pink haired person lay in a similar state of almost undress.

Shamal rested her head on her palm and recalled the nights events.

As per Vice's note, fifteen minutes earlier than the mentioned time, Shamal had entered 'The Drunken Knight' Bar. It was a small and crowded place, but she had no problem spotting the woman with long pink hair sitting on a chair at the bar. Shamal took a seat next to the woman and after ordering her drink, engaged into trivial conversation. Many empty glasses later, the clock struck twelve and it seemed the two had talked about everything and at the same time nothing. It was then that the pink haired woman invited Shamal to her house to see 'the beautiful paintings that decorated her walls'. Of course Shamal agreed to come.

Another two hours later, and many hiccups, giggles, leaning overs and bumps later, they finally reached the pink haired womans house. Both of them collapsed on the floor and began laughing.

“Cards?” the other woman had asked showing a normal deck of cards in her hands.

“Poker?” Shamal asked herself eyeing the deck in question.

“Go Fish! House rules.”

Another hour later, the alcohol finally kicked in completely and both women collapsed on the bed and slept their way into the morning. Nothing else had happened.

Shamal turned around and looked at the sleeping figure behind her again. She then went and gathered her discarded clothes from the floor and got dressed. Searching through her card playings partner set of clothing she found an ID card, then quickly flipped her own phone to call Hayate.

“Shamal? Where in heavens are you??” the voice from the other side of the line boomed.

“Shh, I need a background check.” Shamal tried to keep her voice low not to wake the sleeping woman. She then looked at the borrowed ID card. “Signum Testarossa – give me everything you can find.”

Shamal heard the sound of typing on the other side of the line before Hayate relayed her found info. ”She seems to be affiliated with the Testarossas – wait, what's this? They seem to have had problems with the law, but somehow they've never been convicted for anything serious due to mysterious circumstances. It might be a good place to start.”

Shamal heard some groans and the moving of sheets behind her and immediately closed the phone. Turning around she found her previous game mate getting up and looking at her surprised while trying to cover herself.

“Laevantine!” Signum shouted coming to her senses and in less than a second seemed to produce a shotgun from under the bed. She then pointed it at Shamal. The former let the borrowed ID card fall to the ground and dashed towards the window next to her bed. Smashing through it, she barely caught the edge of the fire escape and prevented herself from falling down 5 whole floors on the hard concrete below.

Signum moved to the window and tried aiming her shotgun and shooting again, but the woman was already running on the fire escape and she couldn't get a clear shot. She cursed loudly at the fact that the target she was supposed to capture had escaped from right under her nose.

The following night, Shamal was finding herself in front of the Testarossa mansion. She would have come earlier, but all the running from the previous day and the alcohol didn't get along nicely and she was forced to spend the whole day in her apartment. Almost fully recovered, she was not trying to get access to aforementioned mansion – through none other then the drainage system.

Shamal crawled through the system and after many long minutes spend in the cold and wet pipes, reached the exit towards the mansions basement. If the fact that a woman was coming through the draining was a weird fact to anybody that would have seen it, Shamal was welcomed by an even more peculiar sight. She saw somebodies rear coming out from the nearby ventilation vent.

Shamal watched from behind a wine crate as the person fell down from the ventilation system and tumbled on the floor.

“Ugh, came down the wrong way.” the woman mumbled looking around the cellar. Seeing nobody around, the brunette woman started slowly walking towards the door. Shamal came from behind her and caught her by the waist, one hand heading towards her mouth to keep her from screaming, while the other trying to hold her in place. The brunette struggled against her unseen captor and the two ended up stumbling on the floor.

The brunette was quicker to recover, and by the time Shamal was starting to get up she was already on her feet and staring intently at the other woman. “You!” she said angrily recognizing the trench coat and the hat Shamal was wearing. “You're that person from the park! Where is Vivio?” she asked grabbing the blonde by her collar and pulling her close to her face.

In the light, Shamal saw the unmistakable side ponytail and those distinct purple eyes, identical to the woman she had seen in the park a few days ago. “Where is Vivio? You were approaching her a few days as well!” the woman shouted again.

“I don't know what you're talking about. I was just trying to help Vivio get up from the fall, never to kidnap her or anything.” Shamal felt the hands around her collar loosen up a little. “Yagami Shamal, Section 6 Agent.” She introduced herself, smiling, flashing an ID card before the brunette's eyes and the hands completely let her go.

“Takamachi Nanoha, Air Force Instructor.” The other woman replied. “I'm sorry.” she finished, her voice shaking. Shamal patted Nanoha on the back and voicelessly motioned her to say what had happened. Nanoha took the hint and relayed her story.

“This morning I woke up and went to pick up some paper work from the office and to buy the groceries and when I returned Vivio wasn't home anymore. All that I found was a neatly written note on the table that said 'At the Testarossa Mansion.' I didn't know what to make of it at first, then remembered the incident in the park when Vivio said you were trying to take her and I immediately associated that she had been kidnapped. So I came to get her back.”

“You seem very young to have a five year old daughter.” Shamal commented idly looking at Nanoha from toe to head.

“I'm only 19. - Vivio is my adopted daughter.” Nanoha added quickly before Shamal could ask the question that was written all over her face.

The agent sighed and weighed the story briefly. “Fine, I'm helping you.” Although the girl had never asked for any help, it wasn't like her to just leave her when their goals seemed to be similar – search the Testarossa Mansion. Also the prospect of having a companion on her mission somehow made her happy. Before Nanoha could complain, she took the lead and motioned for the her to follow as well.

The two walked through the complex structure of the mansion for the better part of fifteen minutes, but neither managed to find anything important. They met some guards, but dealt with them without any problems. Shamal was surprised and pleased that Nanoha wasn't a nuisance to her, and most likely a good assistance. After walking many corridors, they reached a door from behind which could the laughter of a little girl could be heard.

“Don't worry Vivio, Mama is here to save you!” Nanoha unceremoniously barged into the room by slamming the door. The door proved to be unlocked and the girl almost fell down from the surprise, but quickly regained her composure. Inside, she was surprised to see Vivio standing on the ground safe and sound with another blonde woman next to her. The two seemed to have been having fun talking before Nanoha had disturbed them.

“Mama, you're late.” Vivio said pointing to the clock on the wall that showed it was well passed the middle of the night. Shamal entered the room and looked curiously at the scene in front of her. Her eyes instantly went though to the pink haired woman at the opposite end of the room. The woman seemed to have noticed her as well, but wasn't moving from her spot.

“Vivio, are you alright?” Nanoha ran to her daughter and hugged her, before her eyes turned to the other blonde with long hair from the room who was merely smiling at the scene in front of her. “Long time no see, Nanoha.” Her voice was soft and quiet and there seemed to be no malice behind her words.

“Fate?” Nanoha blinked in surprise seeing the other woman. “You are the one who kidnapped Vivio?”

Fate looked perplexed at the accusation. “I thought I had left a clear note where you could find Vivio. I wanted to come and visit you, but you weren't home so I invited Vivio over to play with Arf and that you would come and pick her up later. We just weren't expecting you to come through the air vents in the middle of the night.”

“But... I never knew...” Nanoha mumbled before coming to the right answer. “Oh... Fate T. Harlown... Fate, you never told me what the T in your name stood for!”

“I'm... sorry.” Fate voiced her regret for the confusion. “I've wanted to keep the fact that I was associated with the Testarossas hidden while in school for many reasons. After I've turned 18 and took over as head of the family, there wasn't a need anymore. I sort of... forgot.”

“Nyahaha.” Nanoha ended up laughing and hugged her old friend. “Nothing happened to Vivio so it's all alright.”

Fate looked behind her at her guardian who was sending death glared with the woman Nanoha had arrived. She sighed. “Nanoha, would you and Vivio spend the night here. It would make me a bad host to let you leave this late and we can discuss things in length in the morning.” Nanoha only nodded sensing the tense atmosphere in the room and took Vivio by the hand and left the room towards one of the many guest rooms she and Shamal had passed through earlier.

When they were alone, Signum dared speak. “Mistress this is nothing to be concerned with. I can...”

“Let me handle this Signum. I'm quite interested to hear what out guest has to say.” Fate cut the pink haired woman in mid sentence. Although the blondes tone wasn't even commanding, the guardian complied with it immediately.

Shamal was invited to take a seat and was assured that it was safe to relay her reason for invading the house. Shamal said that she had reached them by following the command line of a drug and weapons dealing. Both Fate and Signum seemed surprised by this fact. Signum then revealed that it was probably the doing of the Scaglietti for which she was working as an intermediate on behalf of the Testarossa side, but they had never been told the contents of the transports. Signum said that part of the joint deal, she had heard the pilot Vice had had information extracted out of him, and she had been ordered by the Scaglieti to take care of whoever came and tried to follow the trail – which proved to be Shamal which she had failed to capture. Fate concluded that since Shamal had managed to get to them, the deal was a bad sheep and it had to be terminated. She told Shamal of the whereabouts of the Scaglieti factory where it was most likely to find something that could condemn them.

Before Shamal left the room, Fate added one request: “Please tell your superior that Fate Testarossa Harlown sends her regards.” And with that, Shamal left to the next and final part of her assignment.

The following day, Shamal had driven the whole morning around the Scaglietti factory which was hidden as a corporate glass factory in the middle of the Northern District, but she had managed to find no sort of method to enter without having to deal with guards and other nuisances. Fate had guaranteed her that one police search could very well send the whole Scaglietti family in prison, but she had found no way to justify a police call as the factory was well covered and 'checked' already. After another hour of looking around, her mind wandered to the peculiar suitcase in the cars trunk that Shari had given her a while ago. Shamal parked her car and took the heavy suitcase. Not opening it yet, she climbed through the fire escape of a nearby apartment flat and stopped on the roof from where she had a clear view of the Factory. Still thinking of no way of entering besides skydiving through the roof, she opened the suitcase and looked at its contents. In it was another simple wooden box with clear black letters that wrote:

Looking at the instructions, she assembled the many pieces that were in the box with incredible ease.

Shamal raised her new bazooka across her shoulder and adjusted her sunglasses on her nose. She aimed the device towards the factory and with incredible precision fired it. At first there was a small explosion, then it caused a chain reaction that would have made any missile proud as the building slowly, but surely started collapsing by itself. Luckily, it was lunch break and most of the workers were out. Shamal made a mental note to congratulate Shari for the destructive power she managed to put into a single shot. The ringing of a phone stopped the woman from her line of thoughts.

“Ah, Hayate. No, I don't know what's happening. No, I'm not anywhere close to the Northern District. Why is there screaming? Oh, there's a party here and two girls are playing Yakyuken and everybody is cheering. Yes, feel free to allow the ambulances passage to where the explosion was. And since you're at it, send the police too, I'm sure they're going to find something interesting.” Shamal made a pause from answering Hayate's constant questions before adding what she had promised the previous day. “Also, Fate Testarossa Harlown sends her regards.” Thinking she had heard the sound of a falling chair, Shamal was left wondering what the relation between the two was.

The alarm clock was stopped before it made it's third call. The radio was also stopped before it managed to even start its usual broadcast. Shamal yawned before going back under the sheets. When she though she could get a few more hours of sleep after the previously exhausting days, her cell phone started ringing. Moving around to grab it, she saw the caller and decided to answer.

“Good morning Shamal!" Hayate yelled in an awfully cheerful voice.

“Good morning.” Shamal replied rubbing her eyes to rub off the remains of the sleep she knew she wouldn't be getting anymore.

“I just got the full reports of your last mission along with the whole budget and guess what? I'm promoting you to a whole new department. The people there asked for you personally!”

“That's great. What department are we talking about?”

Hayate made a small pause before voicing her answer.

“Demolitions!”

Befriending kit... lol.

i'm no master of the language, but i'm pretty certain that adding the sentence particle "da" or "desu" would more or less complete it. "da" would be more preferable if you used the more 'manly' "ore"
